Beneath its crowd gathering body, you'll find a reliable 350 cubic inch V8, a stalwart automatic transmission, a sophisticated aftermarket suspension and a whole lot of other top notch hardware. If you're a hardcore street rod fan who's been looking for the perfect custom to show off at the next cruise night, AND enjoy on the open road, you're search is over! At the front of this slick '37 Ford, a painted and stainless-trimmed grille sits between a pristine chrome bumper, and two sculpted headlights which incorporate hidden turn signal bulbs above traditional halogen filaments. Behind that grille, a rear-hinged hood meets lightly smoked glass that's cleared by bright stainless wipers, sealed by fresh black weatherstripping and capped by color-keyed drip rails. Below that hood, chrome-trimmed air extractors lead the eye to traditional steel doors that are fitted with old school claw hinges, classic chrome mirrors and correct, streamlined door handles. And at the back of the car, correct chrome trunk hinges ride above traditional blue dot tail lights, a second pristine chrome bumper, and a correct chrome trunk handle. Open the doors of this killer classic and you'll find a tasteful custom interior that combines the car's spectacular blue paint with acres of supple leather upholstery. In the middle of the cockpit firm and modern seats are supportive, feel soft enough to take a nap on, and feature clean chrome piping. At the sides of those seats, custom door panels hang slick color-keyed inserts behind correct chrome handles, curved leather armrests and attractive stainless accents. Below those seats, fade-free carpet complements fully integrated speakers and custom chrome foot pedals. In front of those seats, a stylish and simplistic dash hangs attractive Classic Instruments gauges next to polished accessory knobs, finished air conditioning vents and prerequisite custom pinstriping. And above those seats, a custom fur headliner is stretched tightly around a small Sony head unit. Behind the cockpit, a color-keyed trunk hides a Sony 6-disc CD changer, a Kicker amplifier and a Kicker subwoofer behind enough luggage space for a fun weekend adventure. Lift the glossy silver hood and you'll find a tough 350 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 that's every bit as smooth as it is reliable. Top dead center, a ball-milled air cleaner leads to a chrome Holley 4-barrel carburetor that's outfitted with polished stainless fuel lines and a fully-functioning electric choke. From there the mixture enters a Winter intake which feeds eight sequentially fired cylinders that are sparked via fresh Ron Francis wiring, an MSD Blaster SS coil, a high quality MSD distributor, and loomed Taylor plug wires. Every one of its surfaces is finished in the same vivid blue paint as the car's exterior panels, allowing the thoroughly detailed motor to create plenty of trophy winning contrast. Behind this sedan's fully detailed small block you'll find a fully rebuilt GM Turbo-Hydramatic 350 3-speed automatic that spins a stalwart Ford nine inch rear end that's bolted into a Total Cost Involved Mustang II front and traditional leaf rear suspension. Power flows through an attractive set of polished Billet Specialties wheels which spin 195/60R15 Goodyear Eagle RS-As in front of 235/65R17 Goodyear Eagle RS-As. As cool as it is classic, this '37 Ford street rod is a vision in both showmanship and usability. You really can't ask for a more impressive custom car, and you certainly can't build one this cool for anything near our list price. Well, this is it. Beautifully finished, this 1937 Ford slantback 2-door sedan shows off what the ideal combination of modifications and style can do to what was once just a transportation appliance. OK, so nobody will ever accuse the 1937 Fords of being ugly, so that's probably why the guys who built this one left the sheetmetal alone. No chopped top, no radical de-trimming, and no outrageous paint job, just clean, honest Ford steel in the original shape. Of course, fit and finish are worlds beyond what Henry could manage in 1937, even if he were willing to spend the money to get it to this level. Look closely and you'll note a few mods, including the shaved hood ornament and smooth deck lid, but nothing that immediately jumps out as a custom touch. The body was smoothed and finished to a very high standard before several coats of luscious black basecoat went on, followed by a few layers of clear for an impossibly deep shine. While they were at it, they gave the grille a coat of the same stuff, and you'll love how it highlights the body's subtle creases and curves. A simple band of stainless trim highlights the curves of the bodywork and the bumpers were tucked in tight for a smoother look. The interior is the kind of place that you'd be happy to spend a weekend or more, thanks to comprehensive upgrades that make it as comfortable as a modern luxury car. The front are beautiful low-back tan buckets, and in back the original bench has been retained. Upholstery is tan leather so its bright and airy with a strong sense of style and it's plenty comfortable for long-distance cruising. The original dash has been reworked, and the stock instrument panel has given way to a billet insert with modern VDO dials for all the major systems. A powerful A/C system is so neatly integrated that you'll have a hard time believing that Ford wasn't building them this way in 1937. A gorgeous leather-rimmed banjo-style steering wheel lives atop a tilt column and that billet aluminum shift lever links to a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Under that slanting deck lid, you'll find a surprisingly spacious trunk with a cleverly disguised battery box and neatly finished tan carpets. The engine is a Chevy 350 cubic inch V8, so you know it's powerful and reliable out on the road. Fully dressed with lots of chrome, this will be part of the reason for the crowd forming around this car. A big Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor atop a polished intake is a time-tested combination, and the dual exhaust system was built as much for sound as for performance, because this car sounds amazing. The front suspension is a familiar dropped I-beam with disc brakes, while out back there's a 9-inch Ford hanging on leaf springs. The quality of the workmanship is evident everywhere you look, and it has not been driven much since it was completed, so even the chassis is bright, shiny, and clean. Even the polished Torque Thrust wheels and fat rubber don't seem to show much use at all. Expertly engineered and beautifully finished, this is the car you've been dreaming about adding to your collection. It's obvious someone spent a pile of cash (over $100k) getting this custom 1937 Ford roadster professionally built into a show-stopping creation. Now it's being sold after only being broken-in. That means you get to save thousands on the new custom of your dreams. Everyone sees you coming in this bold creation. It retains the slick Art-Deco look of the original style, but now sporting a serious attitude that flaunts its high-end appearance. The two-tone Harley-Davidson Sedona Orange and Mocha Metallic looks amazing even from miles away, but it only gets better when you get up close to see the subtle pinstriping. All of this is courtesy of Craig Hartless at Ace of Customs. The colors against the super-slick Oze body will make everyone want to touch your hot rod to make sure it isn't still wet. This great paint even applies to the removable hard top. And just like any good custom built, it has all the right touches to impress. You see this in places like the mirror polished grille, taillight silts built into the fender line, frenched-in license plate panel, side-opening hood, and suicide doors with shaved door handles (you pop them open from your fob.) Of course, it wouldn't be a hot rod without an aggressive stance thanks to the large staggered Foose Legend Chrome wheels. The large investment continues inside, where a gorgeous tan Italian leather interior delivers show-stopping looks. Heavily bolstered buckets feature modern all-day comfort. The door panels have been sculpted to flow right into the dash for a custom swooping appearance. The driver gets a three-spoke steering wheel that is so intricate that it's the focal point of the whole interior. Beyond that is a full set of Dolphin gauges that look perfect in your retro ride. As with any good custom build, there are plenty of modern conveniences for you and your passenger. This includes power windows, power locks, cup holders, and climate control. Plus, there's a touchscreen in the middle of the center console that provides the interface for the satellite navigation, backup camera, and AM/FM/CD/DVD/XM stereo with iPod hookup. The whole point of this car is to look stunning, but like any good enthusiast build, this one was created to be fun to drive too. The freshly built 350 cubic inch small-block V8 has less than 200 miles on it, and it features, headers, an electric fan, new radiator, and a four-barrel carburetor. Of course what people are really going to notice about the powerplant is its show-stopping appearance with all that chrome and polished aluminum in the engine bay. Also, the Flowmaster dual exhaust will make everyone takes notice with its rumble. But beyond all this is a roadster you'll love to take out for long Sunday drives. That starts with a four-speed automatic transmission that features a highway-friendly overdrive. This one also features a full coil-over suspension, power rack-and-pinion steering, and Wilwood ABS disk brakes at all four wheels backed up by modern Falken Azenis tires. We know you've drooled over the pro-built rods in magazines, and now here's your chance to put one in your garage for a fraction of the build cost, and a lot less than many others out their. Look closely and you'll note a few mods, including Vee'd windshield and blue dot taillights, but given how good it looks, you won't get more attention with radical modifications. The body was smoothed and finished to a very high standard before several coats of black paint went on, which gives it an appropriate look. It's got a few signs of use and age, but if you appreciate the classic look and just want to update the driving experience, this is your car. The interior is the kind of place that you'd be happy to spend a weekend or more, thanks to comprehensive upgrades that make it as comfortable as a modern luxury car. The front seats are custom gray leather buckets and in back the original bench has been retained and covered in the same stuff, so it's bright and airy with a strong sense of style. Gorgeous custom door panels are attractive and functional, but not over-done, so they work rather well with the rest of the car. The original dash has been painted to match the bodywork and the stock instrument panel has given way to a trio of gorgeous gauges from VDO. A powerful A/C system, eyeball vents, and an AM/FM/CD stereo head unit are fitted into the center of the dah, and it's so neatly integrated that you'll have a hard time believing that Ford wasn't building them this way in 1937. A late-model GM steering wheel lives atop a tilt column and aside from some light stains on the custom floor mats, it looks quite fresh. Under that slanting deck lid, you'll find a surprisingly spacious trunk that's fully upholstered and includes a space-saver spare with its own custom cover. The engine is a 350 cubic inch Chevrolet V8, so you know it's powerful and reliable out on the road. Fully dressed with lots of chrome, this will be part of the reason for the crowd forming around this car. A Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor atop an aluminum intake manifold is a time-tested combination, and the dual exhaust system was built as much for sound as for performance, because this car sounds amazing. The front suspension is a Mustang II type setup with disc brakes and rack-and-pinion steering, while out back there's an 8-inch axle hanging on leaf springs. The quality of the workmanship is evident everywhere you look, and the fact that it's been driven and enjoyed means that it's all sorted out and ready to enjoy. Shiny billet aluminum wheels are a classic look and they're wrapped in sensibly-sized 215/75/15 rubber, so it rides well and doesn't rub on sharp turns, which is always important if you're actually going to drive your rod. Expertly engineered and nicely finished, this is the car you've been dreaming about driving this summer. Impeccably built to the highest standards, it has a subtle air to it that only serves to highlight the incredible attention to detail throughout. V8 power, all the power accessories you'd want, and ready to enjoy, this is one of those rods that gets even better from behind the wheel. The '37 Ford coupe has one of the most distinctive looks and the smooth, faired-in headlights were a trend-setting feature that drove the entire industry forward. Finished in classic and elegant burgundy paint, it has an appropriate look that never seems over-done. No flames, no graphics, and all the sheetmetal is as Henry intended, which only serves to highlight the beautiful build quality that much more. Fit and finish are outstanding, with great gaps and incredibly flat panels that mean someone worked a lot of overtime. All the original trim was retained, including the swept-back grille and iconic teardrop headlamps and culminating with a pair of original taillights up on their original perches. A few subtle gold pinstripes highlight the car's many curves and the rear deck lid was shaved and smoothed for a clean look. Original chrome bumpers look great and actually add some useful protection, while the license plate disappears from view under the car every time you park. It's quite tasteful inside, too, with a leather-lined passenger compartment that pays tribute to the past but stands firmly in the 21st century. Sure, that pleated leather seats and matching door panels look like they're straight out of the '30s, but the folding armrests, power windows, and slightly more comfortable rake mean it's built for driving. The dash has been beautifully reworked to house a billet instrument panel full of Dakota Digital instruments. There's also a custom fabricated center console with the Kenwood AM/FM/iPod stereo head unit and controls for the Vintage Air A/C system. The crank-open windshield is still fully functional and there's also a tilt column with a matching leather-wrapped steering wheel. Simple is usually better, and the trunk offers more tan carpets, simple side panels, a space-saver spare tire, and plenty of storage space for long trips. Reliable, smooth performance is what you'd expect from a rod that looks like this, and the ZZ4 350 cubic inch crate motor under the hood delivers. With an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, it starts instantly and idles properly every time, and things like power steering and brakes are included. A recessed firewall is finished to the same high standards as the rest of the bodywork, and service access is excellent. There's a big aluminum radiator up front, a custom A-arm front suspension with rack-and-pinion steering, and a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission powering a set of 2.56 gears in the 10-bolt, so it's a fantastic highway cruiser. Edelbrock long-tube headers feed a custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and while it's not detailed for show, the dirty undercarriage proves his car works right. Chrome steel wheels with baby moon hubcaps and trim rings are protected by a set of staggered 195/60/15 front and 235/60/15 rear BFGoodrich T/A radials. Totally sorted, incredibly reliable, and still beautiful, this '37 Ford isn't about making a scene, but you'll probably discover that it draws a crowd better than just about anything else. This 1937 Ford roadster is just such a beast. Built by the guys at Coast to Coast down in Miami, it's a dazzling creation with just 4875 miles on the build. If you're ready to collect trophies, this fascinating car might be the shortest path to that goal. The fiberglass body combines styling elements of the '36, '37, and '38 Fords, but it has become something unto itself in the process. Still retaining the slick Art-Deco look of the original, but now sporting a serious attitude, there's no question this is a high-end piece. Finish work is quite impressive, with no way of telling that this is a 'glass body without rapping your knuckles against it. The paint is what you'd expect from a shop famous for its outrageous finishes, with a shine that's about a mile deep and no wild graphics to distract you from the cool shape of the slick cabrio. The Sherwood Pearl paint is two-stage House of Kolor urethane, so it'll look great practically forever, and the color is a nice change from all the red and black rods you see everywhere you go. Suicide-style doors have been shaved of any external handles, and the front grille is beautifully rendered in polished stainless. From any angle, this car looks amazing. The investment continued inside, where a gorgeous tan leather interior delivers show-stopping looks. Heavily bolstered power buckets feature flame-pattern inserts for contrast, and the door panels were sculpted to match the swopping fenders and dramatic bodywork. A custom center console was fabricated and houses the controls for the Vintage Air A/C system, the shifter, and the Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo head unit. Green-faced Auto Meter gauges give the drive a complete view of what's going on under the hood, and that's a custom Budnik banjo-style steering wheel on a tilt column. The trunk is just as beautifully finished, with full carpets and "Dragonfly" embroidery, while the top is a lift-off Carson-type piece that looks awesome when it's installed. The whole point of this car is to look good, but that doesn't mean it isn't entertaining to drive. Thanks to an all-aluminum LS1 Chevy V8, it has the right sound and with all the chrome and polished aluminum in the engine bay, it'll knock 'em dead at shows. The basics include a painted intake and coil covers, a polished aluminum throttle body, and a big aluminum radiator up front. The transmission is a 4L60E 4-speed automatic overdrive spinning a 9-inch Ford rear, which has been the powertrain of choice for decades. This one also features a fully boxed frame, tubular A-arm front suspension, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, and power rack-and-pinion steering, so it drives like a modern piece, not a vintage relic. It's got the right hot rod bark, too, complements of a chromed and polished Flowmaster exhaust system that fits beautifully. That raked stance comes easy, thanks to a set of staggered Budnik billet wheels wearing 205/45/16 front and 285/40/18 performance radials. If you've drooled over the pro-built rods in magazines, here's your chance to put just such a machine in your garage for a fraction of the build cost. Any refunds will be at the sole discretion of Streetside Classic Cars and are not guaranteed. If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close, vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come, first serve basis. With components built by NASCAR legends like Ernie Elliot, it's not only beautiful to look at, but brings the horsepower where it really matters. The brilliant red paint is the first thing you notice, but the level of detail on this '37 Ford is what really keeps your attention. The body is Gibbons fiberglass and it has a traditional look that makes it instantly identifiable. The grille is the original style, not one of the modern interpretations of a '37, and for that reason alone this one should stand out. There's a ton of time invested in the paint and bodywork, with smooth, glossy surfaces that reflect clearly, all indicative of tons of hand labor. Details like the headlights with their teardrop-shaped lenses are correct Ford pieces, while '39 Ford teardrop taillights give it a familiar look out back. The pinstripes are artfully done to emphasize the '37 Ford's curvy quarters and we love the way the simple chrome bumpers look old-fashioned. Shaved door handles, a smooth trunk, and a minimum of add-ons give it a clean, uncluttered look that is as timeless as the '37 Ford itself. The beautifully stitched custom interior uses a unique bench seat up front to make it look cool but remain all-day comfortable. A center arm rest is just a good idea, and the door panels were sculpted to match and offer a sweeping bit of leather just for contrast. Both seat backs tilt forward for access to the rear seat, which is specious enough for full-sized adults. The hallmark of a professional built rod is the switchgear, and you'll note that the door handles, window switches, and other extraneous hardware have been cleverly hidden out of sight, giving the interior a clean, minimalist look. A full array of Dakota Digital gauges across the center of the instrument panel give it a clean, futuristic look and the tilt column with a matching tan leather steering wheel means this car is comfortable enough to drive daily. The entertainment system has been stashed under the dash where it's mostly out of sight and the A/C vents are discreetly built into the outboard edges of the dash. The top is a removable Carson-style hardtop that seals up rather well and the trunk is fully upholstered to match the interior. The engine is a 351 cubic inch V8 built by noted engine builder Ernie Elliot, and with that kind of pedigree, you'd better believe it's a runner. There's an upgraded cam inside, a 4-barrel carburetor up top, and an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold to keep it fed. Most of the under-hood components were painted to match the bodywork, including the alternator and A/C compressor, so it has a dressed-up look that works well with the rest of the bare aluminum components. Custom headers lead to a fabricated exhaust system that tucks up into the frame and sounds spectacular. Every single component underneath, including the suspension, AOD 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and 9-inch rear end, has been painted to match as well, and the preservation is very impressive. A Mustang II front suspension and 4-wheel disc brakes make this Ford feel quite modern and it has an awesome hot rod look with Billet Specialties wheels and staggered 195/60/15 front and 235/75/15 rear Hankook radials. Beautifully built, there's no aspect of this rod that hasn't been buffed, smoothed, or hand-made. With a great history behind it, this is an awesome cabriolet that stands head and shoulders above the rest. 1937 Ford Truck Over $110k build, this truck is a steal at this price. It was just completed a couple of months ago, so it is literally all-new. The 4.6 mod motor and 70 mm turbo dyno'd at 467 hp at the wheels. This truck weighs just over 2600 lbs, so the power-to-weight ratio is crazy. We have built a lot of cars and trucks over the years and this one is, by far, the nicest one yet. So many cool features like AC with auto temp control, touch screen audio, hidden switches, and storage areas. I enjoy driving this truck more than most of our muscle and pro-touring cars.Read on... It took 3 ½ years and hundreds of hours of labor for Reasonable Rides and Rods to build this one of a kind 1937 Ford Truck. Starting as a roller, this truck was painstakingly built into a show quality and extremely potent street rod. If Ford started producing new 1937 trucks, this would be their prototype. We have built a lot of cars and trucks, and this is one of the nicest ones yet. It's a Ford powered by a Ford and titled as a 1937 Ford Truck. We are very motivated to sell this great truck. Make an offer, but have your funds available. Body/Paint The body is a Downs Manufacturing 1937 Ford Truck. The bed and tailgate are steel. Each panel was meticulously worked prior to paint. The rear fenders were widened 3 inches to handle a much wider tire. The running boards were modified to accommodate the wider fenders. This approach was taken rather than tubbing the truck to keep the wider stance for driving quality. Every piece and panel was painted individually before assembling the truck. American Body Works applied the classic Grabber Blue paint and custom Ford script on the tailgate. The hood is a custom tilt-forward hood for access to the engine. The wood in the bed is black and has been clear-coated with stainless steel strips. The paint is flawless and show quality. It’s a timeless color that will never go out of style. Engine/Trans The engine in this truck is a new 2004 Ford 4.6 SOHC mod motor. It came directly from Ford and had 0 miles prior to install. While potent enough in NA form for this light vehicle, it has a slight twist to it…it’s Turbocharged! A one-off custom rear mount 70mm turbo pushes a conservative 7 lbs of boost. This is not someone’s kit, but rather a hand built turbo system made to compliment the other modifications to the engine. The cams are mild upgrades from stock and work well with the turbo. The original factory fuel injection was eliminated and a Professional Products Powerjection III unit was installed on top of a Edelbrock intake. This gives it the look of an “old school” carbureted truck, with the performance of fuel injection. The Powerjection III can handle up to 20 lbs of boost and has upgraded injectors to handle the boost. The Powerjection III and MSD controller have been custom tuned with the correct spark curve and fuel curves for this beast. All of the components complement each other well and this truck is incredibly fast. The transmission is a new 4R75W overdrive automatic. It utilizes an Optishift controller that has fully adjustable shift points. The combination of overdrive and 3.70 rear gears makes driving the truck in town or on a long trip very pleasurable. Suspension A custom built frame is the base for the truck. The front suspension is a Mustang II style with tubular upper and lower control arms combined with QA1 coil-over shocks that are fully adjustable. A power rack handles the steering. The rear suspension is a 4-link set up with a bullet-proof 9 inch rear end with 3.70 gears. The rear shocks are QA1 coil-over units as well. We decided against an air bag suspension for ride quality, although the stance is still fully adjustable. The brakes are power disc around and it stops on a dime. Interior The interior is a combination of black leather and suede. Low back bucket seats were custom stitched and fit perfectly in the interior. To give it that classic look, the seat inserts and door panels are diamond stich suede with blue thread. The dash is covered with leather along with the custom console. Door and window switches are hidden in a sliding panel in the console. The headliner is full suede from the front of the cab to behind the rear seats. A Jensen touch screen head unit is installed with front kick speakers and a 10 inch sub mounted in a custom storage compartment behind the seats. The gauges are AutoMeter Street Rod Series. The shifter is a Lokar short shifter and the overdrive button is located in the console. The Vintage Air system is controlled by an auto temperature control unit from Dakota Digital. There are many custom features to the interior. Tire/Wheels The truck rides on 18 inch Boyd’s with Nitto 215/35-18 front tires and 295/45-18 rear tires. Overall You won’t find a nicer street rod than this 1937 Ford. The truck is titled as a 1937 Ford and is a clear Texas title. It has fantastic street manors and can be driven anywhere. Everything on the truck is new. We want to sell this truck to fund other projects, so make us an offer. We're motivated to sell, so no offer will be insulting. Just have your funds available. International buyers are welcome. With its reliable Chevrolet V8, smooth automatic transmission and stunning Red on Sand color combination, this custom is an ideal classic for anyone who enjoys exploring the open road. If you're looking to add a little spice to your weekend routine, here's the perfect way to take Sunday drives to a whole new level! Assembled from the ground up, this awesome street rod's smooth and solid fuselage began life as high quality Downs fiberglass that was carefully molded, structured and streamlined into a top notch roadster. Once that resin completely cured, it was bathed in a vivid coat of brilliant red two-stage. And today, with nary a ripple or misaligned panel anywhere, this positively evil Ford mixes enough utility to hush old school skeptics with enough polish to be front row at the local car show! The beauty of a well-done custom is often found in the simplicity of its execution. In a nod to the hobby's old school hot rodding roots, the best cars are usually topped with a stripped down, all business body that emphasizes their purpose-built, high performance nature. So, when you craft a first class offering like this sweet '37 Ford, the best thing to do is let its original curves do the talking and simply enhance what's already there. Our enhancements begin with flowing fiberglass fenders, which center a billet grille between old school chrome-trimmed headlights. Behind that grille, a lightweight hood anchors smoked glass between small mirrors, billet heat extractors and a tan cloth top. Below that glass, shaved doors seal solid along smooth fiberglass running boards. Behind those boards, flush-fit tail lamps ride between a shaved decklid and polished exhaust tips. And overall, the car's clean build creates one cohesive classic that, despite significant customization, is both tasteful and easily recognized. In the auto enthusiast world, there are few bigger faux pas than something that promises performance but doesn't deliver. "It looks fast" just doesn't cut it with real car guys, so the old school flathead Ford that might traditionally power this drop-top has officially been swapped for a fully detailed GM LT1 V8. At the front of the low-profile mill, a modern serpentine system spins a polished alternator and polished AC compressor above a reusable filter element. Once air enters that filter, it flows through a bowtie-branded throttle body into a factory LT1 intake, which is bolted down over completely stock internals. High octane fossils are provided by a GM electronic fuel injection system. Sparks are sequenced through high performance Taylor plug wires. Spent gases are whisked away by a slick pair of ceramic-coated block hugger headers. And cooling comes courtesy of a heavy duty aluminum radiator that's complete with a quick-spinning electric puller fan. On the visual end of the spectrum, red injector covers and chrome valve covers nicely complement the car's bright exterior paint while covering the less attractive part of GM's block design. The glossy engine compartment has been completely jammed and detailed to match that bright exterior paint. And niceties such as braided hoses, trick dipsticks and a glossy clamshell hood add the kind of flash that starts conversations and wins fans. Naturally, this Ford's fully-finished body rides on a fully-boxed chassis that's been assembled to exacting standards. The proven LT1 torques a tough TH700R4 4-speed, which spins a familiar Ford 9-inch. That custom drivetrain pushes a road-ready suspension, which tracks a high quality Heidt's-style front-half with traditional leaf springs, tough lowering blocks and chrome Pete & Jake's shocks. Turns come courtesy of modern power rack-and-pinion steering. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to power-assisted discs at all four corners. At the center of the floor, 2.5-inch true-dual exhaust breathes through aluminized pipes and throaty Flowmaster mufflers. At the corners of the chassis, polished American Racing Torq Thrust IIs turn 205/45R16 Goodyear Eagle F1s in front of 235/60R17 Goodyear Eagle LS. And everything, from the car's floor-mounted brake booster to its beefy rear sway bar, is well-planned, well executed and ready to work its magic! Pop this roadster's lightweight doors and you'll find a custom leather interior that mixes comfort with simplicity. At ground level, Sand carpet weaves a thick cover beneath billet foot pedals, and piped and color-keyed floor mats. At the center of that carpet, leather-wrapped thrones appear to have been sourced from some of Detroit's more modern hardware. In front of those thrones, a body-matched dash sports a full array of VDO gauges. At the sides of that dash, custom door panels hang small power window switches between sculpted armrests and ergonomic handles. In front of the driver, a polished APC steering wheel spins around a polished and tilting column. And behind the cockpit, a surprisingly large trunk founds clean carpet in a Sand leather frame. This intense 1937 Ford coupe is a professionally built custom which mixes the best attributes of a ‘velvet rope and red carpet’ show car with the streetability of a well-tuned muscle car. Beneath its crowd gathering body, you’ll find a modern 454 crate motor, a stalwart automatic transmission, a sophisticated air ride suspension and a whole lot of other top notch hardware which makes its $75K list price even more unbelievable than its pearl orange paint. If you’re a hardcore street rod fan who’s been looking for the perfect custom to show off at the next cruise night AND enjoy on the open road, you’re search is over! This awesome ’37 Ford coupes smooth and sinuous fuselage began life at a small, but well-known company called Minotti Fiberglass in Naples, Florida. Established almost 20 years ago, Minotti is a diverse, family owned operation which has built a fantastic reputation for providing both top notch building components and great looking replicas of some of the most popular Ford street rods to ever roll out of Dearborn, Michigan. Once this cars solid and detailed Minotti body was fully cured and completely pre-assembled, it hopped a truck to Eastern Rod and Customs in Raleigh, North Carolina where a coat of trailer queen worthy Tangelo Pearl Orange urethane was massaged to perfection. Today, with only 1075 miles on its ground up build, this sizzling street rod features the tailored sophistication of an OEM show piece, crisp contours that are much better than original Henry Ford steel, and a whole roster of top notch modifications which add even more appeal to its already outrageous design. At the front of this slick ’37 Ford, an aftermarket chrome grille sits inside two smoked and chrome trimmed headlights which incorporate hidden LED turn signals below traditional halogen bulbs. Behind that grille, a lightweight fiberglass hood meets a chopped and split windshield which is cleared by stainless wipers and sealed by fresh black weatherstripping. And at the top of the car, a great looking roof line sits over new smoked side and back glass. At the bottom of the car, like-new running boards ride between shaved, remote activated doors and stainless trimmed side outlet exhaust pipes. And naturally, the back of the car is just as clean as its profile with a shaved, handle actuated trunk lid and simple, chrome trimmed cat’s eye tail lamps providing the only breaks in a sea of vivid orange paint. When it comes to the cars performance, ‘bigger is always better’! Under the fully removable hood you’ll find a fresh 454 cubic inch, 450 horsepower big block Chevrolet crate engine. At the top of that engine, a custom air filter funnels wind into a Demon 750 4-barrel carburetor which is outfitted with braided fuel lines, high quality Jegs fittings and a Marshall fuel pressure gauge. That massive carburetor sends air/fuel mixture into a chrome Edelbrock Performer intake which feeds eight sequentially fired cylinders that are sparked by a traditional HEI distributor and loomed plug wires. At the sides of that intake, custom color matched painted gm factory valve covers above ceramic coated Hooker Headers; and at the front of that intake, fresh V-belts spin a chrome Powermaster alternator next to a polished AC compressor. The cars clean and smoothed engine compartment is relatively sparse aside from a proven Walker radiator which wears a polished cowl cover and feeds chrome flex hoses. And it’s finished in the same pearl scent orange as the cars exterior panels, which allows the thoroughly detailed motor, with its assortment braided hoses and trick details like a Lokar throttle linkage, to create plenty of trophy winning texture and contrast.Behind the cars professionally designed big block engine you’ll find a rebuilt TH400 3-speed automatic transmission which is one of the toughest and most reliable units GM has ever produced. Power flows from that proven transmission through a new driveshaft to a tough Ford 9 inch rear end which is bolted between the cars Tangelo Orange frame, a Heidts front subframe with tubular control arms, and a great handling four link rear suspension. And exhaust flows from the cars ceramic coated Hooker headers through ceramic coated true dual pipes to great sounding ceramic coated Magnaflow mufflers. Quick stops come courtesy of a Baer disc brake system which utilizes braided lines and chrome calipers to squeeze giant drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners. And ride height is completely customized thanks to a fully adjustable Air Ride Technologies suspension system. Not a detail was missed on the bottom of this show stopping Ford coupe, and the cars many niceties include a fresh, custom built fuel tank that’s equipped with a high flow electronic fuel pump, braided fuel lines with Jegs fittings, completely stainless hardware and completely detailed, body-matched floors. Throwing the torque to the asphalt is a mirror-like set of 17 inch Budnik Gasser billet aluminum wheels which wear 215/40 Kuhmo Ecstas up front and 31×16.50 Hoosier Pro Street Radials out back.Open the doors of this killer ’37 Ford and you’ll find a tasteful custom interior that combines the cars spectacular exterior paint with supple white leather which feels nice enough to adorn the centerpiece of your living room. The firm and modern Cerullo SC bucket seats are supportive; feel soft enough to take a nap on, and feature clean, color matched lap belts. At the sides of those seats, custom door panels hang slick body matched inserts below attractive billet aluminum door handles. And between those seats, a custom covered and body matched console anchors a chrome B&M shifter between switches for the cars power windows, a control panel for the cars adjustable air suspension, a polished emergency brake handle and a kill switch for the big block motor. At the front of the car, a stylish and simplistic dash hangs attractive Dolphin gauges above controls for the heat and air conditioning system, hidden buttons for the cars accessories, a modern Alpine CD player and a classic “V8” emblem. And at the top of the car, a custom leather headliner is stretched tightly around a clear dome light and a centered, body-matched insert. In front of the driver, a polished Budnik steering wheel sits on a chrome tilt steering column and features a matching leather rim. And behind the cockpit, a custom upholstered trunk conceals the cars fuel filler behind plenty of luggage space for weekend getaways. As with and extensive build, this vivid Ford street rod comes with ample documentation. Included with the sale is a stack of invoices from Eastern Rod and Customs, paperwork for the air ride suspension and a few pictures of the cars construction.Cool and classic this ’37 Ford is show ready and in immaculate condition. You really can’t ask for a more impressive custom car, and you certainly can’t build one this cool for the asking price. With 1075 road proven miles this car is ready to show and go with nothing needed and has already taken many best of show trophies!I may entertain a interesting part trade toward the purchase price.Car is sold as is and where is with no warranty expressed or implied. Auction may be terminated early as the vehicle is also advertised locally.

How about one with some of the best vintage styling ever draped over two doors and four tires? If the answer is a resounding "YES", this 1937 Ford Coupe is exactly the car you've been searching for! With its reliable Chevrolet V8, smooth automatic transmission and rich black on tan color combination, this custom is an ideal classic for anyone who enjoys exploring the open road. If you're looking to add a little spice to your weekend routine, here's the perfect way to take Sunday drives to a whole new level! BODYWORK/TRIM With their wind-swept design and classic good looks, late-'30s Fords have always been highly desirable cars. Not surprisingly, gearheads, chop shops and 70 years' worth of dedicated fans have elevated them to one of hot rodding's greatest cultural icons. And this awesome coupe has, with the help of a thorough, frame-off restoration, been transformed into one super slick street rod. The car's build began with a complete tear down of its rock-solid fuselage. Once that fuselage's sinuous panels were massaged to near perfection, glossy black base was married to a thick layer of clear. And today, this sizzling classic is a fully sorted boulevard king that's likely caused more than its fair share of slackjaw stumbles and clumsily missed steps! The beauty of a well-done street rod is often found in the simplicity of its execution. Our enhancements begin with flowing fenders, which center a re-chromed NOS grille between modified headlamps and a chopped bumper. Behind that grille, a slender hood founds traditional ornamentation in front of tinted glass, small wipers and classy chrome frames. Below that glass, solid doors hang stylish handles and simple mirrors above vulcanized running boards. And behind those boards, a factory bumper reflects old school tail lamps and straight exhaust tips. ENGINE In the auto enthusiast world, there are few bigger faux pas than something that promises performance but doesn't deliver. "It looks fast" just doesn't cut it with real car guys, so the storied flathead that might traditionally power this coupe has officially been swapped for a 392 cubic inch Chevrolet small block. At the top of that big-bore mill, a polished Street & Performance ram jet mixes wind supplied by a small filter with fuel that's piped through modern electronic injection. That air/fuel mixture floods cast iron heads, which hang polished and milled valve covers over coated block hugger headers. At the back of those headers, what appears to be a traditional points distributor sequences spark through loomed Taylor plug wires. At the front of those wires, billet pulleys spin a polished alternator opposite a modern AC compressor. In front of that compressor, a beefy radiator circulates coolant around a big electric puller fan. And small items, like polished breathers, trick dipsticks, Lokar accelerator componentry and a Street & Performance pressure gauge, highlight the builder's acute attention to detail. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Bottom side, this Ford's fully finished body rides on a modern Total Cost Involved chassis that's been assembled to exacting standards. The proven small block torques a TPI Performance-branded 700R4 4-speed, which spins an LPW-branded 9-inch axle. That custom drivetrain pushes a familiar Mustang II front half opposite a polished 4-bar rear half. Turns come courtesy of modern power rack-and-pinion steering. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to polished, power-assisted calipers, which squeeze vented discs at all four corners. At the edges of the floor, 2.5-inch, true-dual exhaust breathes through coated pipes and throaty turbo mufflers. At the corners of the chassis, highly polished wheels turn 205/60R15 BF Goodrich Comp T/As in front of 275/60R17 BF Goodrich Comp T/As. And everything, from the car's finned transmission cooler and CVR starter to its braided fluid lines and polished stainless fuel tank, is well planned, well executed and ready to work its magic! INTERIOR Pop this coupe's lightweight doors and you'll find a clean leather interior that's much nicer than traditional factory fodder. At ground level, brown carpet weaves a thick cover beneath stainless-trimmed foot pedals and a polished hand brake. At the center of that carpet, a leather-wrapped Glide throne makes passengers feel like royalty. In front of that throne, a rich, wood-grain dash hangs a full array of Classic Instruments gauges beside Vintage Air climate control. At the sides of that dash, custom door panels sport contoured pulls and small, chrome handles. Above those panels, a leather headliner stretches tightly around modern Sony audio. In front of the driver, a banjo-style steering wheel spins a leather-wrapped rim around a polished tilt column. And behind the passengers, a surprisingly large trunk founds clean carpet in a plush leather frame. OUR SALE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION AND ACCESSORIESRestoration photosA 1937 North Carolina license plate It doesn't matter whether you're a Ford guy, MoPar guy or Chevy guy, this classic transcends barriers and claims universal appeal. This is exactly why we created the RKM Performance Center. Being proud members of SEMA, ARMO, HRIA and the North Carolina Motorsports Association, the RKM Performance Center is a nationally recognized shop; best known for high level OEM restorations and custom builds. The model was a refresh of its predecessor, the Model 48, and was the company's main product. It was redesigned more thoroughly in 1941. At the start of production, it cost $850.   The 1937 Ford featured a more rounded look with fine horizontal bars in the convex front and hood-side grilles. The front grille was V-shaped, rather than following the fenders into a pentagon shape, as on the 1936 model. Faired-in headlights were a major modernization found on both the Standard and DeLuxe trim versions, though much of the rest of the design was shared between Ford's two lines. A larger water pump was used to help aid in cooling. 'Slantback' sedans gained a rear trunk door, though space was limited, and 'Trunkback' versions continued gaining sales.     VIN 03101184   This custom 1937 Ford Coupe is a beautiful example of a hot rod done right. There are a lot of things to love about this 1937 ford pickup truck: the outrageous bodywork, the slippery Extreme Green paint, and the sumptuous leather-lined interior. It\'s also built to run with a smart-running small block V8, 4-wheel discs, and a smooth-riding suspension that makes it easy to forget this is a pickup. vehicles like this have always been called \"phantoms,\" as they\'re figments of a designer\'s imagination. Sure, Ford could have combined their passenger car nose with a pickup bed, but nothing coming out of Ford factories in 1937 looked anywhere near this cool. The Downs fiberglass body and steel bed work go quite well together to create something altogether unique, although the art-deco look of the \'37 Ford comes through loud and clear. A cool 3-window coupe vibe defines the cab and the split rear window treatment is especially trick, and who doesn\'t love the look of the sleek \'37 front end? Workmanship is extremely good thanks to lots of hand work on the bodywork and many hours spent on the PPG Extreme Green finish. Billet, chrome, and stainless trim dresses up the nose, while 1939 Ford LED taillights light up the rear. The fully functional bed includes handsome wood floor with stainless rub strips, as well as a concealed door for the fuel filler. The interior is beautifully made and wonderfully simple at the same time. Twin bucket seats wrapped in tan leather provide first-class seating for two, and in the sleek cabin, there\'s a surprising amount of room. The color-matched dash is full of white-faced VDO instruments framed by a matching tan leather steering wheel on a polished tilt column. Comfort and convenience features abound, and this is no ordinary pickup, so you get things like Vintage Air A/C, power windows, and remote door openers, not to mention a great-sounding AM/FM/CD stereo system. The custom-stitched carpets wrap around the floor shifter and billet pedals, giving it a very polished, OEM look, and that dash-mounted rear-view mirror probably isn\'t all that useful, but it sure looks trick! The engine is a 350 cubic inch Chevy V8 with an estimate 350 horsepower on tap. Now while that\'s plenty enough to be entertaining, it also means this truck is reliable and easy to service, so you can put it on the road without a second thought. The whole build has only 628 miles on it, so the engine is fresh and dressed to show. Lots of shiny billet aluminum and chrome, ranging from the air cleaner to the radiator to the accessory drive, and the smooth firewall provides the perfect background. It\'s backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission feeding a Ford 9-inch rear hanging on a set of ladder bars and coilover shocks. The front suspension uses a custom crossmember, power rack-and-pinion steering, and tubular A-arms for support, as well as a second set of coilovers, so it really handles well. The custom dual exhaust system has turn downs just ahead of the rear wheels and there are big Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners. 17-inch Boss wheels look right and wear 205/45/17 front and 235/55/17 rear Nexen radials. A trick phantom Ford that certainly generates more than its fair share of attention, all at a price that\'s less than the cost of the build. Call today!
