The original sticker price just a few years ago for this loaded up beauty was over $60,000......just imagine the savings if you buy this one used! Under the cab, sits the awesome 6.7L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel engine that is rated at 400HP and somewhere around 800 lb/ft of torque. It is very strong and will take you to 80+ mph very quickly and keep on going if you like.....the power and smooth ride is amazing when you're pulling a load. It comes with a 6-speed Automatic Transmission that shifts like butter and is built to last. When you get in, it's amazing how comfortable and easy to drive this big truck is. With only 84k miles there are only a few marks and chips to report from normal driving. It's pretty easy to tell that it has not been abused and simply looks great. Keep in mind that it is a black exterior so you will see more imperfections than with a lighter colored truck. However we think it just looks great! Inside, the charcoal gray seats are in great shape with no holes or tears to report. All of the interior features appear to function normally and we can find no mechanical or drivability issues. It has great power and is an absolute pleasure to drive. Keep in mind that you are buying the truck AS-IS with no warranty which is how we sell all of our vehicles. We just had a fresh PA State/DOT inspection done and it passed with flying colors. This is not a previous rental, but a privately used commercial lease return. Under the cab sits the powerful 6.0L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel engine that offers great power, torque, and efficiency. It is quite rare to find one with a diesel, so don't miss your chance to own it. While the early versions of this engine had a few issues, by 2009 they had figured things out and reliability is excellent. This truck can haul tools, supplies, furniture, carpet, and just about anything else you need to move in large quantities. The box measures approximately 12' long, 77" wide, and 72" tall inside. The rear door measures roughly 66" tall and 72" wide. There is plenty of head room inside to stand up, and it comes with a slide out loading ramp for those larger items. The inside walls and floor are aluminum lined with 2-rows of E-Track to secure your load. Our first thought is that it would be perfect for a power-washing business since it is all aluminum, but it could also be the perfect set-up for you carpenters, masons, storage facilities, carpet companies, delivery companies and on and on. In the cab, you won't find a bunch of fancy options or features, simply everything you need in a work truck. There's an AM/FM radio, Automatic Transmission, and even Air Conditioning. The new owner will get a great mid-size Box truck for a great price.....you will save a bunch of money buying here. The Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) rating is 9,900 lbs so you can definitely haul plenty of materials, supplies, or cargo legally. We have over 1000 positive feedbacks, and have been doing this longer than most. Now for a few details. This is a one owner pick-up truck that was obviously used by a contractor of some sort. We purchased it off lease mainly because it was so clean and apparently well serviced. We got it home and ran the Carfax and found a huge list of all the regular services and other maintenance that has been done over the years. It doesn't get much better than a 1-owner truck with a full service history!! Everything appears to be in great condition and we're proud to be selling it. Power comes from the Ford 4.0L V6 that produces plenty of horsepower and motivates this truck to highway speeds with no problem. It's pretty rare to find the V6 in a 2-wheel drive, regular cab, so don't wait to bid or it will be gone!! Shifting is done by a multi-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The Ranger has been a staple for Ford for many years and is one of their best sellers. I have several friends with trucks like this with 150k-200k miles that are still going strong. It looks great with the updated styling, has everything you need in a work truck, and is very smooth and easy to drive. While this isn't the fanciest model available, it has Ice Cold Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Tilt Steering Wheel, and a very nice contractor cap on the back. Made by ARE, this body opens on both sides and has a tool compartment on one side and a pass through on the other. You can easily access tools and cargo and stay organized. The biggest benefit of a truck like this is that someone else bought it new and treated it well. Think of all the money you can save versus buying new (which you can't do anyway since the Ranger is no longer made!) All of the initial new car depreciation has already been paid leaving nothing but a great deal for the new owner. Listen, why even consider a new one when a gently used one like this is available for purchase in an absolute auction format. This late model Ranger has very good miles, most of which were done up and down the highway. There are plenty of pictures below for you to take a virtual tour, so please be patient while they load.
