I'm selling my 1997 Ford/Mercury Taurus GL-S Touring Sedan, which is in Pristine Condition and with a perfect Car-fax report! This 1997 Ford Taurus sedan body style has become a hard to find as a 6 passenger vehicle. You get the best of both worlds, roomy with a comfortable touring ride and great fuel economy like a smaller car. The Taurus drives great, it rides very nice and smooth like a new vehicle. The exterior is the original factory Ford paint it's called "Light Saddle Metallic " and it has a deep beautiful clear coat shine with no fading, no hits and/or dents on it, just a few scratches on the front & rear bumper that was already there when we bought the car. The interior is the original factory light saddle tan cloth seats with no tears, rips or stains, both the floor & ceiling inside are spotless with no stains, no fading, and no rips including the original floor mats that came with the car was new are spotless as well. The whole dashboard is like new, (unlike other Taurus that the dashboard has popped up and/or has completely detached itself). You will be very surprised when you see the condition and how beautiful the interior is for being a 1997 which still has that original clean car smell and it has been a NON-SMOKER vehicle, (Unless your car is brand new I'm pretty sure your interior wont be as impeccable as our Taurus). The Engine compartment is very clean and inside the trunk area is also very clean & neat. It's roomy inside for 5 people and it can hold the 6th person in the front seat since the center console folds-up and converts into a seat if needed. The V-6 3.0L engine performance is Rock solid, runs like a champ with no issues what-so-ever plus great fuel economy (23-25 City & 27-30 Highway) this realistic driving mileage I get. The transmission is Rock solid and smooth you don't even feel it shifting. The A/C system is Ice Cold with no leaks and the heater works too if needed for winter season. The Taurus is over all a solid, dependable, reliable and as good as new as you going to get and ready to go anywhere in the U.S.,Canada or Mexico..!! The Taurus is great for a college student, a small family, a young or retired couple, great for car-pooling locally and for long trips.
