For sale here is an exceptionally clean, one of a kind, all original 1987 Ford Escort GL Wagon with 71,782 original miles. It's a 4-speed car with a smooth running 1.9 L SOHC 4 cyl. CFI engine. Equipped with an MSD Street Fire coil & OEM tube header from an HO motor. It is cat-delete, but the original exhaust manifold/cat/downpipe & EGR tube all go with the car, in case someone wants to put it back to stock for emission purposes. It has a brand new Thrush Turbo muffler & stainless steel resonator exhaust tip. It has been garage kept, and has no rust & really nice original paint. It has the normal nicks from bugs, rocks, etc. that one could expect on a car its age. It has a new set of alloy American Racing wheels & professionally tinted windows. Has cold A/C, converted to R134a. AM/FM stereo radio. Tilt steering column (I have the original non-tilt column that I'll throw in). Tires are like new. The interior is super clean & everything works. Has new front calipers, pads, & rotors. Back brakes were on the car when I got it, & are good. Clutch, shifter & tranny are smooth & tight. Just had oil change & filter. The car runs & drives like a dream. I bought it from the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA. It had been donated by it's original owner.This is one sweet little street cruiser that really turns heads. You just don't see many of these cars any more, especially in this condition.
