This vehicle is car museum quality. 39,000 original unrestored miles. Car is as it came from Ford, with virtually all original parts - apart from a couple small details, the only thing that's been changed is the tires, gas and fluids, A true time capsule of a very rare, 1 year only vehicle. This Sprint drives and sounds like a new car. This vehicle has not been detailed, it was properly stored in a garage and been driven approximately 200 miles since. From Wikipedia: 1963½ was the only time you could get a V8 or Convertible option in a first generation Falcon and these cars were produced in very limited numbers (Sprint 2-Door Hardtop (bucket seats) 10,479 produced and Sprint Convertible (bucket seats) 4,602 produced). These first generation Falcon Sprint cars were the basis for the 1964½ Mustangs released by Ford one year later. Many (if not most) of the interior, chassis, suspension, and drivetrain components were derived from those used on the 1963½ Ford Falcon Sprint and/or Fairlane models. In simplest terms, the 1963½ Falcon Sprint is nearly mechanically identical to the 1964½ Mustang while being aesthetically different. If you have any questions on the vehicle, please don't hesitate to ask!

Selling my rare, mostly factory original, 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint. Motor is a Ford 260 V-8 with rebuilt heads and hardened seats, a factory four speed and the original 3:25 to 1 rear-end. I have the factory build sheet for the car and will include in the sale. Car is mostly stock except for a few changes I made to improve the safety and drivability of the car. I changed the exterior color to Hyland Green from the original Prairie Tan. The green is the same color of Steve McQueen's Bullet Mustang in the movie Bullet. The combination with the interior is terrific. I have received many a compliment on the combination. I replaced all the rubber seals and window fuzzies. We then added Disc. Brakes upfront with 11.5 in. cross-drilled rotors, dressed up the motor with aluminum polished valve covers, air cleaner, dura-coated four barrel manifold and new Edelbrock four barrel carb. I kept the factory cast iron exhaust manifolds and added a custom aluminized dual exhaust system that runs to the rear of the car. Car has new tires and wheels with Billet Specialties five spokes all around, 15"X6" on front and 17"X7" on rear. No rubbing and everything is inside and under the car. All the instruments, including the factory tachometer, AM radio, brake and turn signal lights, etc. work like the should. This is a really nice little driver and one you can cruise or use as a daily driver. Depending on how you drive, this Sprint with the 260 V-8 should get very good gas mileage. I estimate 20-22 mpg plus. I have more photos if needed. Thanks for looking F.Y.I.: Drivers Door Tag Info: Body 63D Color: G Trim: 89 Date: 06L DSO:74 Axle: 4 Trans: 5

1964 FalconSprint Convertible. Not one bit of rust anywhere. One family owned. Have the original WindowSticker, Ford Registered Owner Identification Card(Ford's version of a Protecto-Plate!) Original SalesPaperwork, and Owners Manual. Original CA black license plates that are in excellent condition. Been in the garage for 30+years. You'd be the second owner! This is a restorers dream. Extremely straight. The trim is there and excellent. One repaint way back when. Original blue paint and interior car with a white top(needs top redone, and the convertible top frame is in excellent condition). Has the original convertible top boot too. All glass there and good. Underhood # matches vin. Original engine and transmission, with a spare engine and trans if you'd like them. Youngest son thought he'd get the car back on the road and took some engine and suspension brackets n such and painted them some goofy colors, but that's nothing really-just looks stupid. All engine bracketry underhood all in place. Numbers matching everything. Original everything and in good shape. Interior original, with original deluxe wood steering wheel in great shape, dash unmolested, dash bezels not damaged or broken. Engine runs, but needs car gone through or restoration. If you have been looking for a Falcon Sprint Convertible-they're rare...one in this mostly original shape with no rust is pretty much unheard of. Look at the pictures...the car is excellent. Finding a one owner car with documentation...super rare. There is a reserve of course. Please don't bud if you don't intend to pay. No kneeling for the National Anthem. God bless America! Ask questions if you need to please.

A real numbers matching 1964 Falcon Sprint convert. It has a 1990;s rollerized 302 with an edelbrock carb and original 3 spd trans. I have the original 260 block which is completely rebuildable. Also have the right valve covers. The car was brought up from Texas in 1979 and was repainted about that time. One full quarter panel was replaced at one time in its life, the one with small bubbles. Too bad they didn't use a mint rust free one. The paint still shines and looks good from 20 feet. The interior is all original and will need at least a drivers seat redone, rest is bearable. The car is currently insured and driven at this time. I seem to have most of the bugs out, just get in and cruise for the summer.

The Ford Falcon has really come into its own in the classic car market. No longer just the car that fathered the Mustang, the sensible style has matured into an instantly recognizable flair. This is especially seen on the top of the line Futura trim with Sprint convertible package. Its premium status means this Falcon is dressed up with plenty of jewelry, ranging from the arrow-shaped side trim to the neat little "bombsight" fender ornaments up front. But this one has a bit more flair. You can see it in the added luster of a modern application of dark black paint that gives it the kind of luster that can rival all that chrome trim. Plus there's no denying the aggressive stance this one has while sitting on iconic Cragar wheels. You might have noticed some subtle red trim on the exterior, and you'll understand why this was done the moment you open the door. The full red interior keeps close to factory standards, which is quite nice on the range-topping Futura trim. The ribbed bucket seat covers look fresh and flank a correct center console with bright lid. Gorgeous door panels recall just a touch of the 1950s with their shiny materials and lots of polished trim. The familiar instrument panel is in excellent condition. The dash has all the original pieces right down to the hear/defrost controls. The only deviations are the upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo that's adaptable to listen to more modern tunes and an auxiliary set of gauges for added info. A cool touch is the floor-mounted gearshift for the three-speed automatic that's a nice preview of the enchantments under the hood. This Falcon came from the factory with a 260 cubic-inch V8, but one look at the engine bay, and you know there's plenty more here than what was installed at the Atlanta facility. It starts with the big Holley dual air grabber that feeds the Holley four-barrel carburetor on its way to the Edelbrock intake. This is backed up by reliable components such as the aluminum radiator, Mallory electronic ignition, steel braided hoses, stabilizer bar, and Edelbrock fined valve covers. The full package makes plenty of power, and everyone knows it thanks to the rumble of the dual exhaust. This is the kind of Falcon that you'll love to park next to Mustangs at car shows. After all, it's cool to present a father that can still out shine his son's performance tricks. This one is thoroughly sorted right down to the original owner's manual, which means you can pick up a very cool classic for well within your budget. This one packs a rumbling 347 cubic inch stroker motor, a 4-speed, and a restoration that you couldn't even get close to duplicating for the asking price. Never mind that it runs like an early Mustang and looks cool, this is a ton of car for the money. This bright red hardtop is one nice little sleeper. The Falcon was conservative, yes, but it was also rugged, reliable, and had great familial DNA that made it look like a scale Fairlane. The Rangoon Red paint makes it a flashy machine that gets a lot of attention out on the road, and the quality of the work belies the price tag because it looks pretty darned good. It's not perfect, of course, but the shine is far better than 1960s paint tech would deliver, and the car was put together the way the factory would have done it, so it feels solid going down the road. Lots of bright trim ties in with the other Ford products of the era, including the sweeping side trim with a contrasting black insert and "Sprint" script on the front fenders. Round taillights continue Ford's fascination with "jet age" styling, and nothing but the relatively fat rear tires give away this little Falcon's secret. From behind the wheel, it's easy to see where the Mustang gets its handsome good looks, as the Falcon includes a handsome and unique gray and red interior. Looking far more upscale than you'd expect, the seats wear fresh covers front and rear and the doors have been upholstered to match, so it all looks very period-correct. The dash should look familiar to anyone who's driven a Ford of this vintage, with a wide speedometer flanked by round pods with auxiliary gauges inside. This one also sports a cool Stewart-Warner tach on the steering column and a set of modern auxiliary gauges underneath the dash, along with a handsome color-matched steering wheel and a Hurst cue ball shifter for the 4-speed gearbox. The factory AM radio remains in the dash, and it's kind of nice to see it there instead of the ubiquitous modern head unit. In back, there's a trunk that's more spacious than you'd expect, and it has been fully carpeted just like the interior. The door tag says this one originally came with an F-code 260, so it's a real V8 car, but this one is packing nearly 100 extra cubes in the form of a stroked 302 punched out to 347 cubic inches. It's a very strong runner thanks to a big Holley 4-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum heads, and an MSD ignition system. Other details include the Falcon-logo finned valve covers with matching air cleaner. Long-tube headers dump into a fresh dual exhaust system that sounds spectacular. The rest of the chassis is in good order with tubular front A-arms and rack-and-pinion steering, subframe connectors to reinforce the tub, and heavy-duty Caltrac traction bars out back. Out back, it carries 3.80 gears with a limited slip inside a 9-inch housing and there's a disc brake at all four corners. Vintage-looking Torque Thrust wheels are exactly the right choice and wear staggered 165/80/15 front and 235/55/16 rear performance radials. A lot of V8 performance in a great-looking package, this Falcon clearly cost more than the asking price to build. A bargain back then and an even bigger one today. Based in Saint George, Utah, R.H.R.C. was founded by Steven Ray Anastos after he relocated to Utah from Southern California. Steven has been dealing in high-end Mopar Muscle Cars since 2003 where he did business in California under the name "Steve’s Killer Bees". Having ridden motorcycles his whole life, he decided to expand the business by dealing in Custom Choppers, Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles in addition to his growing Muscle Car and Hot Rod business. The stunning landscape, beautiful weather, open roads and no helmet laws make Utah the perfect place for such a business. After finding the ideal location with tons of visibility, Steven opened a brand new showroom in Saint George and plans on being around a very long time. The showroom is very unique as there is nothing else like it in Southern Utah. The area is starving for a taste of the Hot Rod Kulture and R.H.R.C. plans on getting in on the ground floor. They sell Helmets, Goggles, Sunglasses, Hats, Beanies, Jewelry, DVD’s, Books and Hot Rod Collectibles such as Rat Fink, Von Dutch, Clay Smith and Mooneyes. They also market their own line of R.H.R.C. apparel. Much of their business has been and will continue to be internet-based, especially the sale of their high-end Muscle Cars and Hot Rods as many of them are in the six-figure category. They intend to start selling these rare vehicles locally as there seems to be quite a following for Muscle Cars, Hot Rods and Motorcycles in the Southern Utah area. R.H.R.C. holds Car Shows and Special Events monthly at their Saint George location so stop by and see their incredible selection of inventory. If you are not already on their mailing list, please call or email with your contact information and they will keep you informed of any and all events. This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
