I am selling my 2008 Bullitt. I am the second owner. I purchased this Bullitt from the Autonation Ford dealer in Houston. The exterior features of the Bullitt include uniquely finished 18" Torq-Thrust style wheels. The Bullitt package did not have a decklid spoiler or any badges except for the faux gas cap, which is replaced with a Bullitt-specific unit. Inside, there are Bullitt door sills, gauges, and steering wheel cap, an engine-turned aluminum dash panel, aluminum shift knob and pedals, and GT500-inspired front seats and GT500-inspired steering wheel with black stitching. Under the hood, the Bullitt has the first factory open-element air filter, unique exhaust that mimics the sound of Steve McQueen's GT 390 Fastback and special 3.5-inch exhaust pipe tips. The engine has specific programming that increases the horsepower to 315 (up from 300 in the GT). A Tremec 5-speed manual and 3.73:1 ratio live rear axle drops 0-60 mph times to 4.9-5.0 seconds compared to the standard GT's 5.2-5.3, and quarter miles come in 13.8 seconds at 102 mph (164 km/h). Suspension is upgraded by a Bullitt-badged front tower brace and retuned suspension components that drop the ride height by 0.25 in. This particular Bullitt also has the ambient lighting that was an option in 2008. I made one additional cosmetic modification. That being silver Boss-type stripes. They peel off easy if so desired. Full disclosure, this car was apparently damaged on the driver side rear quarter panel. Consequently, the rear side quarter panel has been replaced. When I had the car appraised for a trade-in, the appraiser said the repair was well done. The Carfax is clean so the previous owner must have paid for the repair without insurance. All in all a very fun, unique 2008 Bullitt with some Boss stripes. Call it a Bullitt Boss.
