To start this show, we have a \"C\" code 289 cubic inch V8 engine, but topped off with many engine options showing off the hidden abilities. Including a 4-bbl 650 CFM carb from Edelbrock. This little monster is ready to show off in a subtle type of style with its black and chrome combination. The body of course being done in a Raven Black paint job, with a Matte Black hood, held down with Chrome hood pins and topped off with painted black loops. Just the perfect level of chrome is added from the bumpers to the tail lights. The Wheels are Aluminum/Alloys taken off of a 2006 Mustang done in the classic 5-spoke Bullitt wheels in the very classy Anthracite color, then wrapped in some light performance radial tires to keep this pony on the road. To keep the modern appeal going with a combination of stopping power, we have 4 wheel disk brakes installed capable of putting the reins on this horse pretty quickly. The seat were taken out of a 2008 Ford Mustang, and are the amazing Leather sport bucket seats that make the late model mustangs so comfortable, with additional power seat added for lumbar support and allow you to find your perfect spot. Grab hold of the the automatic trans and B%26M shifter, mounted to a custom installed center console that gives you a certain sense of modern appeal to the interior as well. This particular Mustang is definitely a unique restomod, and is an absolute blast to drive. Up for sale in our Tampa Showroom is a very iconic pony car, the 2008 Ford Mustang GT Bullitt. Made famous from the 1968 movie \"Bullitt\", the original 1968 fastback Mustang was painted in the iconic color known as Highland Green. If you are familiar with the movie, then you understand what the car is capable of. 40 years later, Ford brought back the legend with the 2008 body, painted to match the original. The beauty of a Bullitt Mustang lies in its simple but elegant design. From the clean body lines and the removal of the rear spoiler, this car is built to be stunning at any angle. There is no over the top body designs like you find on the other Mustangs built in this time, from the Shelby hoods to the Roush and Saleen bodies that are made to look aggressive on the street, instead the Bullitt has a more subtle design in mind. The hood is a standard Mustang GT hood and the body matches that of the factory GT style, but is made to have a more iconic look with its beautiful paint job lined in metal flake. The engine is a 4.6l 3 valve engine that makes 315 rated horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. Topped off with a Ford Racing cold air intake system and a high performance Ford Racing tune to optimize the engine, this Bullitt is ready to tear up the streets like in the movie. Back the engine up to a TR-3650 Tremec 5-speed manual to give you solid control of the shift points, then transfer the power to a 3.73:1 gear ratio in the rear with standard 8.8\" Ford rear end and 31-Spline rear axles to allow you to burn rubber the way Steve McQueen does in the movie. The suspension was adjusted too, with special Shocks and Struts and upgraded springs to help perform better as you blaze through the streets of San Francisco. The interior is taken from the Shelby GT500 as well as the steering wheel, all of which are done in beautiful Black Leather and topped off with a polished billet dashboard. Each of the Bullitt Mustangs are serialized from the factory, this one being #1917 of 5,773 ever made during this year.
