1994 Geo Metro Hatch with the 3 cylinder 1.0L engine and a 5 speed transmission. Clean clear PA TITLE in my name. The car runs and drives fine and has CURRENT PA INSPECTION until 1/15. This metro would usually average 40-43mpg on my commute. I no longer drive this car, and it has been sitting in my driveway for about a month and will continue to sit until it is sold as I have taken insurance off the car. In the past 2000 miles this metro received new spark plugs and wires, the egr was cleaned, a new fuel pump and strainer, fuel filter and a new fuel sending unit This is not an expensive car, if you are expecting perfection then this is not the car for you. If you are looking for a cheap reliable fuel efficient car then you are in the right place. I will try to the best of my knowledge list any flaws I know about this car. This metro does have A/c, but it does not blow cold. I honestly never attempted to look at it to diagnose why. The heat works. On start up one of the belts squeal a little only some times, its quiets up after a minute, the oil pan gasket leaks a few drips of oil, the $3 donut exhaust gasket in the center of the car leaks as well. These are all little $10 items, and if the price is above $1400 I will gladly change the oil pan gasket, oil and filter, I will replace the leaking exhaust gasket and I will address the squealing belt. The only other issue worth mentioning is that some times you have to cycle the key once or twice before the engine will crank. I was told it was the starter relay going bad, but while doing research on some GEO forums it appears to be a pretty common issue and the fault is a dirty ground. I have not cared much to look further into it, as it has done this for a while now and never left me stranded, and it only happens occasionally. The car starts right up and runs good, the clutch and transmission feel good. The body is alright, it was obviously repainted at some point in its life (previous owners), and does not have any major damage, although it is wavy. There is no visible rust on the body or major damage, there are some dings and dents here and there and some white paint showing through where some green has cracked off the bumpers. But all in all it is not bad. The interior isn't the cleanest, but there are no rips, burns or tears, and everything is intact. It was used to commute so the carpet has some stains, all of this would clean up if you really wanted to... The car is for sale locally as well. I would recommend looking at the car before purchase.
