It took a couple years to restore and it was a good driver to begin with. Very straight and clean plus All the body panels, floors, and frame are original. This Jimmy is Rust FREE. Painted in Hugger Orange including all the jams and it was at the paint shop for 6 months. Many many hours spent block sanding, this is a show quality paint job and too much was spent getting it done right. 350ci V8 engine with TH400 automatic transmission both rebuilt. NP207 transfer case. Dana 44 front with a GM 12 bolt rear axle. 6 inch Super Lift all spring no blocks. Brand new 35" BF Goodrich KM2 Mud Terrain tires. Fully rewired from front to back with a completePainless wiring kit. All the lights were repalced with LED lighting including the marker lights. Replaced the entire braking system including the master, booster, drums, discs, rotors, pads, and lines. Replaced all the body bushings. The exhaust was upgraded front to back with Hooker headers, and 2 1/2" to dual Magnaflow mufflers. Upgraded gas tank that cannot rust. New fuel pump and starter. The entire inside was done with Line-X so it can not rust. New chrome dash with all new gauges. 6 Point custom roll cage to make it safe for passengers. It can easily be unbolted if you choose. Best-Top full Safari soft top convertible in perfect condition. Sony MP3 CD player with Rockford Fosgate speakers, amp, and sub. This Jimmy has had countless hours and thousands of dollars spent on bringing it to this level. I'm sure I forgot some of the upgrades and improvements. It needs nothing to drive daily right now. Starts right up and it runs strong and cool. No smoke or leaks and it needs nothing done to it. Clean California title with registration through 2016. Up for sale is a 2008 Chevy Express 2500 extended wheelbase van with a 6.6 liter Duramax diesel. The van is a 1-owner former police van and has 230k miles. Just passed California Smog inspection few days ago. Build date for this van is 2008-08-06, and for any other vehicle that would usually mean 2009 model year. The exterior has several scratches, dent on the drivers door and holes from the strobe lights (all holes are sealed off with silicone, no leaks). Mechanically everything is in great shape. Obviously police vehicles have the best maintenance programs in the world. There are no warning lights on the dash, and the van runs good with no known issues. Four matching LT tires are two years old and they all have plenty of tread left. Both heaters are hot and both A/C are ice cold. No fluid leaks. Parking brake is tight. Transmission engages and shifts up and down very smoothly. A new 10,000 lb rating Class 5 receiver hitch and trailer wiring have been installed a week and 2,000 miles ago. The van has never towed before that, although it is equipped with factory auxiliary transmission cooler. Options include: front and rear heater and A/C, power heated mirrors, power windows and locks, tilt steering wheel, tachometer, 145 amp alternator, aux trans cooler and engine oil cooler and full width vinyl insulated floor cover. The spare wheel is missing. The lower part of the passenger mirror has one vertical crack, still totally usable. The vehicle is located in sunny San Diego, California.
