It is, however, very nice. This is a 1988 GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic 4x4. It is the 2 door full size Sport Utility. This Jimmy came out of Nevada. The CARFAX shows that it is a 1-OWNER, with no accidents ever reported. It does have the 350 (5.7L V8) and Automatic Transmission. This Jimmy is Red with the White Top, and Red Interior. It does have Tilt Steering. That's about it on options. It has a great ALPINE AM/FM/CD Stereo with Ipod Hookup. It is sitting on a new set of Ground Hawg Tires. The odometer reads just over 76K, but from the Carfax we can tell that this is a 177K mile Jimmy. It still runs strong, no knocking or ticking in the engine. No smoke after startup. Transmission shifts firm and smooth. The interior is clean, but there are a few places where some of the trim needs replaced or repaired. Nothing bad, just wanting to disclose what we see. I would view this as a driver. It could be fixed up or tricked out, but this is all original. It has been driven and it still drives out very nicely. 4WD engages and seems to work properly. I usually don't rate vehicles on a number system, but to give you a snapshot of this one up close I would say: Exterior 6 out of 10. Interior 7 out of 10. Motor runs strong and engine compartment is nice and clean. Transmission shifts Properly and transfer case and lock hubs also are in proper working order, as demonstrated in my videos. Interior is in good condition with removable 3rd row seat and All glass is good. Lights, blinker, heater, speedo, oil pressure and temp all work. tires are in overall good shape, doors open and close tight. Top easily removes and is in solid overall shape. Body is straight with some minor rock chips and small inconspicuous dings, again in overall good presentable shape. Undercarriage is solid and dry, as seen in undercarriage photos. 1972 GMC Jimmy 4X4....This truck is a work in progress, however, everything is being done right. Full removable top. New 454 ( never been fired up yet ) , built up 700r4, built up aluminum transfer case, light grey interior includes new carpeting, new dash pad, light grey 70/30 power front seats, light grey fold up rear seat, all new bezels, hoses, vent tubes, heater core etc. Exterior consists of every removable panel being removed, sandblasted and painted inside with outside still needs to be finished. The only panels that are not original to the truck is the doors which had to be replaced. All hardware for these panels has been replaced with new hardware as well as all new rubber grommets and bushings. The truck has a 4' suspension lift as well as a 3' body lift. The 3' lift was done so we didn't need to modify the firewall to fit the 454. This truck has been rebuilt with the intent of it being a reliable and comfortable driver and just overall cool looking truck. Every new and old part that I have for this truck goes with it. Original 1970 GMC Jimmy, this is a factory built Jimmy not a K5 Blazer conversion. This Jimmy is in beautiful condition as shown, I just took the pictures this week. It took a couple years to restore and it was a good driver to begin with. Very straight and clean plus All the body panels, floors, and frame are original. This Jimmy is Rust FREE. Painted in Hugger Orange including all the jams and it was at the paint shop for 6 months. Many many hours spent block sanding, this is a show quality paint job and too much was spent getting it done right. 350ci V8 engine with TH400 automatic transmission both rebuilt. NP207 transfer case. Dana 44 front with a GM 12 bolt rear axle. 6 inch Super Lift all spring no blocks. Brand new 35" BF Goodrich KM2 Mud Terrain tires. Fully rewired from front to back with a completePainless wiring kit. All the lights were repalced with LED lighting including the marker lights. Replaced the entire braking system including the master, booster, drums, discs, rotors, pads, and lines. Replaced all the body bushings. The exhaust was upgraded front to back with Hooker headers, and 2 1/2" to dual Magnaflow mufflers. Upgraded gas tank that cannot rust. New fuel pump and starter. The entire inside was done with Line-X so it can not rust. New chrome dash with all new gauges. 6 Point custom roll cage to make it safe for passengers. It can easily be unbolted if you choose. Best-Top full Safari soft top convertible in perfect condition. Sony MP3 CD player with Rockford Fosgate speakers, amp, and sub. This Jimmy has had countless hours and thousands of dollars spent on bringing it to this level. I'm sure I forgot some of the upgrades and improvements. It needs nothing to drive daily right now. Starts right up and it runs strong and cool. No smoke or leaks and it needs nothing done to it. Clean California title with registration through 2016. I have taken over 100 photos and a few videos to show it thoroughly. The new owner will be very happy with this Jimmy. This 1990 Jimmy is in very good shape with only 51,600 original miles. The pictures tell the story. This Jimmy is unique in that it was a GM Executive Vehicle – see the delivery address on the bottom-left of the window sticker – GM delivered this Jimmy to itself!Fully-loaded, top-of-the-line SLE trim. All original interior and mechanicals. New A/C compressor and evaporator and has been converted to R-134 refrigerant. New radiator. Keyless entry and alarm. Factory heavy-duty suspension and quad front shocks.Original owners manual and papers included.Check out the window sticker! It has a few condition issues. There is an older, minor body repair in the body panel just to the rear of the driver’s door-due to a parking lot accident. It is showing a crack now - a collector would want to fix this. The speedometer stopped working in December-now it reads 85 all the time. The radio works great but has occasional static. And there is chassis rust underneath that is cosmetic and could be removed by media blasting. Other than those things, the truck is an amazing survivor and is in incredible condition both visually and mechanically. The engine, trans, and all the mechanicals work perfectly. I've owned it about 2 years and I drive it about 10 miles a week, and it runs perfectly. I get compliments all the time. It has been dealer serviced at the Chevy dealer in Plano, Texas.
