It is the ultimate sleeper with some cool touches when you want to show the world you're worthy of the street, and dragstrip. For starters, yes this is a GMC. The more mainstream Chevy front end is all part of the incognito image that this pickup uses to lure unsuspecting muscle cars at every stoplight. At first glance people might just see a nice clean truck whose cherry red paint and five-star Pacer wheels says the owner is someone who cares about his vehicle. But anyone who takes a closer look will start to get the sneaking suspicion that there is something much more to this GMC. These subtle giveaways are in the details, like the shaved door handles with remote door poppers, and the crystal clear lenses all the way around. Just in case you don't want to secretly lurk in the night, flip a switch, and you have custom LED lighting for inside the bed, wheel wells, as well as underneath the truck. You even get a second prostock hood to swap out anytime you want to hit the dragstrip. The interior instantly gives away this truck's wild side. The vinyl bucket seats have been given a custom cover to match the exterior, and in between those chairs appears to be enough toggle switches to launch this pickup to the moon. The driver gets a B&M performance shifter for the automatic transmission, a spare set of tri-gauges, and a huge Autogauge shift light center tachometer for those times you want to expertly bang your own way through the gears (starting to see the big performance trend here?) This S15 might look like a sleeper but it's hard to hide the mighty sound it makes. Underneath the hood is a small block V8 that's a big block's worst nightmare. It starts with a performance air cleaner, a big Edelbrock 750 cfm 4-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and MSD ignition. This feeds a 383 cubic-inch stroker motor, and all the upgrades to this crate engine has the little GMC producing around 540 hp. Just to make sure all this force can hook up on any blacktop, the truck has a stout 10-bolt Positraction rear end running 3.32 gears. The rear has also been beefed up with traction bars. Of course you've probably already noticed the last major piece to this grip puzzle. The Nitto Extreme Drag tires live up to their name by sticking to the ground like super glue, and yet they still have enough tread to be street legal. In fact, that's the perfect way to look at this pickup. It's an extreme drag machine, but it still has features like power steering, power brakes with discs up front, and an automatic transmission. That means you don't have to just trailer this one to the strip, and instead you can easily spend your Saturday nights cruising the streets for prey. This has a new windshield and has all the parts including new items as follows: Wheel arch trim Plastic bumper pieces Tune up kit This vehicle runs and rives very well, the front end had light damage and was going to get completed until I lost my job and need the money. You can start it and drive it around as needed. The 4 wheel drive works good and the motor runs good but needs a tune up which I have the parts for. I have the chrome bumpers for the front and a chrome one for the rear.

The condition of the truck has greatly benefitted by being sold and owned in New Mexico by just two very caring owners. These were mature individuals, so the truck has never been off roaded or abused. The first owner custom ordered the GMC with a ton of options, nearly filling up the option sticker inside the glove box! The truck has also been serviced by the dealership since new, and has always been kept in the garage.  The Jimmy is heavily documented with every receipt since new still with the truck. It's a pretty healthy stack and includes the original window sticker, all dealer service receipts, all the manuals and GM pamphlets, parts warranty booklets, and receipt for the Warn winch/bumper purchased just after the delivery of the truck. Recent service includes all new fluids:  front and rear diff, transmission, transfer case, radiator, and the brake fluid.  New brakes were also installed all the way around, and new tires. The AC is still R12 and blows ice cold.  Having lived in a desert climate all of its life, the body of the Jimmy has absolutely no rust, both on the body panels and on the undercarriage. No unsightly body filler here! Just rock solid original metal everywhere you look. The paint is in great condition for its age. Being it has been on the road since 1982, there are some stone chips behind the wheels, and a few touch ups, but the truck is in really good survivor condition, a rare find with 4x4 vehicles that generally lived pretty rough lives.  The interior is in really wonderful shape and by its high condition, most people would assume that it was restored at some time. It's all original down to the carpeting which in great shape, the dash which is crack free and the headliner insert is in mint condition. The seats have the optional factory Almond seat covers which were factory installed over the optional Sierra Classic cloth insert seats. That being said, under those covers are a set of seats that have never seen daylight since delivery. The top of truck has never been removed which we feel has also helped preserve the interior from sun damage as has the factory applied tint. From what I was told the truck came down here around 1983 with snowbird Canadians, hence thats why it has a Kilometers speedometer. Odometer has rolled over once putting it at 170,000km which is just over 100k miles on original chassis. The GM Crate 350 is only a few years old and runs like a top. Much more juice than the original low horsepower 305ci that this truck originally was delivered with! The truck has been inspected bottom to top an I will put a money back Rust Free assurance on this rig! The rubber seals are all in very nice shape and the truck seals up perfect. The chrome and trim is original on the truck and is overall very good condition for being original. This GMC looks awesome with newer Dunlop Mud Rover 31" tires were mounted up on the 15" chrome wheels and really add the right look to round off the beautiful stance of this K5. The OEM side emblems were just installed and the orange in the emblems nicely compliments the orange pin stripe all the way around the truck. All new side molding and new outside mirrors finish off the restoration. The interior is in great shape all around. The burgundy cloth seats are all in very good shape and look great. The headliner and fabric look excellent. All dials and controls function as they should and are illuminated at night. The dashboard is in excellent shape thanks to the brand new cap that was professionally installed. New carpet is excellent with no rips and minimal ware. All door panels and trim are excellent. The new speakers sound great but the head unit has been replaced with a new high end 2 post component. Mechanically, this Jimmy runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts quite easily. The 5.7L engine has been fully tuned up with oil change and runs like a top! The 4x4 system functions perfectly. The engine compartment was fully detailed and cleaned. It is ALL ORIGINAL under the hood, and I didn't want to take away from the originality by doing any painting or unnecessary upgrades. The Jimmy is tight as a drum and doesn't leak a drop of anything. The truck has been well maintained and it really shows both under the hood, and in the way the truck handles and drives. All new Rancho shocks have been installed and a nice sounding dual exhaust is also in place. All in all, this is one of the cleanest and most beautiful GMC's that I have had the privilege of being associated with. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owners. The CARFAX shows that it is a 1-OWNER, with no accidents ever reported. It does have the 350 (5.7L V8) and Automatic Transmission. This Jimmy is Red with the White Top, and Red Interior. It does have Tilt Steering. That's about it on options. It has a great ALPINE AM/FM/CD Stereo with Ipod Hookup. It is sitting on a new set of Ground Hawg Tires. The odometer reads just over 76K, but from the Carfax we can tell that this is a 177K mile Jimmy. It still runs strong, no knocking or ticking in the engine. No smoke after startup. Transmission shifts firm and smooth. The interior is clean, but there are a few places where some of the trim needs replaced or repaired. Nothing bad, just wanting to disclose what we see. I would view this as a driver. It could be fixed up or tricked out, but this is all original. It has been driven and it still drives out very nicely. 4WD engages and seems to work properly.
