1988 GMC 3500 4x4 Long Bed This is a solid running truck with the legendary 454ci (7.4L) big block engine. This is a one ton truck chassis that has double the payload capacity of standard 1/2 ton trucks like a Ford F150 or a Chevy 1500. This truck is a 4 wheel drive vehicle with a heavy duty transfer case offering 2 wheel drive, 4 wheel high and 4 wheel low. The truck's body panels have some dings and dents and the paint is thoroughly worn, but there is no body rust. windshield is cracked. The engine is strong and was recently tuned up with a new cap, rotor, plugs, wires and a fuel injection cleaning. Brand new tires from Les Schwab over $900 and less than 1000 miles. New brakes up front and 50% plus in the rear. Brand new 3" exhaust with flowmaster muffler. New battery, new radiator hoses. Interior is nearly perfect with no rips or tears in the upholstery. Headliner sags down a bit, I have it pinned up in place, but it is not torn. This truck has a few very minor electrical ground problems. All the important things work, lights, wipers, etc. AC system was tested and works but needs recharge. Transmission is the beasty Turbo Hydramatic 400 quite possibly the best automatic transmission ever built. It is in good shape and shifts well. This truck is strong, single cab, 8ft bed, K 3500 5.7 350 V8 4X4, 4H, 4L, 2H, 2L,,,, MY DAILY DRIVER, STARTS UP PERFECT AND ROARS EVERYTIME, DUAL EXHAUST, I CALL IT THE GREEN HORNET!! It has been a Florida vehicle its whole life, has had some rebuilding done from privious owner: Doors replaced (thats why doors have 2500 plaques GMC2500), and some other miscellaneous parts throughout, I painted the two toned and replaced tires all around. No rust / holes I can see, underbody in great condition. Nothin fancy, was made factory as a work truck so it has manual windows and locks. I recently put in a new distributer from shaft up, serpentine belt, put synthetic oil in it and had a new front passenger side idler arm put on it. Everything works for most part except the A/C, needs new inside door handle on drivers side, seat also needs to be built up on drivers side (I did rebuild it up with blankets and covered with Real Tree seat cover), couple small cracks in windshield, needs battery holder replaced, dash lights replaced, could use front end alignment and there is some slight play in wheel and some other minor cosmetic repairs needed, but nothing major or which impairs it to be driven. It has a gooseneck hitch in the bed, front hooks, complete tow set-up, and more. It is pick up only, cash upon pick-up, I have clear Florida title in hand, lien has been signed off on. This is a 1-ton (3500) 4x4 Sierra Classic Pickup with 454 big block motor and a heavy duty Fisher Power Angle Snow plow setup (8' blade). Truck is in fair condition but is currently not running. Motor ran fine then stopped suddenly while we were snow plowing. As we pushed the snow to pack it in, the truck shut down. It cranked but would not start up. I suspect it is a fuel pump issue. It just doesn't seem to be getting any gas. Truck has chassis rot and would be in need of much repair. Snow plow setup is good. One front hub was refurbished and only one gas tank was good. May not be worth fixing up but it would be a great parts vehicle and it comes with the plow setup.Equipped with Factory Air but one line is broken.Conventional Cab, 8' bed. Selling my 1974 GMC dually Camper Special. This is a true Super RARE survivor from the classic era before the big blocks were discontinued. This one has the 454 that runs like a top. Carb needs a tuning though. This thing gets bad gas mileage now but I think with a tune or switching to a quadra jet could help boost that. Seems like the choke doesn't work properly either on super cold days so that would need to be checked out and fixed. Has lots of good low end torque power for pulling or cruising. This truck is all original as far as I know. Great unmolested condition and ready to be put back into showroom quality. Has some typical rust for a truck that is now going on 42 years old. Couple of body dings but nothing major. Has the lower end front fenders rusted out and some on the rockers and lower doors but that is about it that might need some metal replaced. There is started to be some wear right at the top of the wheel well also. Most other rust is just light surface dusting. Has a fifth wheel plate in the bed for pulling the big stuff and a super sturdy bumper for pulling regular trailers. The dually sides are in great shape. Most of these that you see have all but cracked away or been smashed. I am a third owner. Last guy had this about 15 years or so himself and just it sat for the last 5-10 years at least. Started right up and the engine runs great. Has a nice strong 454 with a holley carb which is probably the only non-original part on the truck that I can see. The AC is all there but the compressor seems locked up. Power steering, Power brakes that stop on a dime. If you are familiar with these models you usually see the hood buckled just beyond the hinges but this one is in very good shape. Bumper has a little tweak but not noticeable. I have a nice chrome grille brush guard that I will throw in also that will cover any of the bumper up for the most part. This has the dual tank from the factory and the electronic switch over on the dash. Currently I only have it running out of one side because I don't know if the other side is working. Probably just needs to be cleaned out. Has a couple of the markers lights that don't come on for some reason. Should be a bulb or minor fix. Interior is pretty clean with all the original wood grain trim. Dash needs to be replaced but it isn't terrible. It has the tilt wheel but is loose so that will need to be tightened. Love this color but it will need to be freshened up for sure. This had lots of tree sap on it that help preserve the paint but it is faded and dull. Windshield has a crack on the far passenger side. Radio works fine. Does have the original tape deck for 8 tracks also. Head liner is sagging. Has all the gauges in tact. Not just idiot lights but actual gauges which is nice. Speedometer works but the mileage stopped at about 108K. Should just need a new cable. Seat is decent but faded. Looks to have been recovered a long time back with the fabric of the day. Rear slider. The wheels just have surface rust on them but look worse than they are. This is a 16.5 set but I will throw in a 16 set of four so you can get some standard size tires if you want. I am sure I am forgetting some things so don't hesitate to ask questions. I am listing this locally as well so I reserve the right to end the auction early if need be. I might persuaded to drive the vehicle to a meeting place for the right price. Just ask if interested.

This is great truck with a ton of potential. I had plans to put air bags on it, patina paint, and semi wheels. I just have too many projects. The truck has power steering, power brakes, and tilt steering. The rebuilt engine has about 2k miles on it. The engine is a carbureted vortec 350 from a 199x chevy. Roller rockers in the engine. Eldelbrock carburator. The turbo 400 transmission works perfect. No rust except surface rust in the truck bed floor and on the bed rails. The tailgate has a dent where I backed into a trailer. The ac compressor locked up a few months ago (ac not working). This beast has a new radiator, starter, alternator, fuel tank, fuel lines, Holley Blue Electric Fuel pump with bypass fuel pressure regulator (so it has a return fuel line), 6 new tires, and a new battery. For sale by Owner is a very rare 1985 GMC K3500 1-ton Sierra Classic singe rear wheel standard cab pickup truck. Been only on the west coast since new. Never in snow or salt. The undercarriage is rust free. There is a small amount of surface rust around one of the cab clearance lights. It was repainted about 15+ years ago. It used to be blue and white. This is a clean truck with the usual wear and tear you would expect from a 30 year old truck with 123,000 original miles on it. I have owned it for about 9 years and have put 5,000 miles on it. During that time I have installed a 454 crate engine, had the Turbo 400 transmission overhauled, and changed out all of the fluids from the front bumper to the rear. I had plans to restore the truck to new condition, but those plans are no longer possible. The stock seat is worn, the dash is cracked, the headliner is gone, and the power windows move slowly since I replaced the seals. This truck was used as a daily driver until I bought it several thousand miles ago and I use it to pull a 24 foot trailer and race car. The truck has no paint work and is is the newest 07 on the planet. I have already mentioned the new running boards, bed cover, bed mat , sprayed in bed liner and mud flaps.The truck shows lite use and runs and shifts perfect.It also has a flat black stripe on the hood that sets it apart from the rest of the fleet.
