Hertel Auto Group is proud to offer this very nice and clean low-mileage 2003 Volkswagen New Beetle GLS 2.0 Hatchback for sale in Fort Worth, Texas. Bought new from Metro VW of Irving, Texas in August of 2003 - and always owned in Texas, this is one of the lowest-mileage '03 Bugs anywhere around. At Hertel Auto Group, we really love our Bugs! They are very reliable; have a 5-Star Safety Rating; are inexpensive to own and maintain; and are well built. We've sold dozens and dozens of the pre-2006 models over the years and its been extremely rare that any one of them has had any major issues. On the road, this VW is powered by VW's well-known and reliable 2.0-Liter 4-Cylinder engine that produces a zippy 115 horsepower while still returning up to 28 mpg on the highway. Mechanically, this Beetle starts, runs, drives and shifts exactly like it's supposed to. Outside, the Royal Blue paint scheme on this rust-free Bug still shines up very well. There are the usual amount of small scratches, paint chips and parking lot kisses you'd expect to find on a vehicle of this age, but there is nothing major. All four tires mounted on factory alloy wheels are also in good condition. Inside, this smoke-free New Beetle GLS is in good condition. You'll also appreciate the fact that it doesn't have many of the typical 'Bug Issues' you seen in many older Beetles; such as busted door handles; broken cup holders; heavily scarred dashes; broken trim pieces, etc., but it does have some of them - including a rippling headliner; broken console cover and a cracked glovebox handle (see pictures). The Power Equipment works properly and the Heater and A/C both work great. All of our Bugs sell quickly - but probably none of them will sell as fast as our low-mileage ones do.
