However, one of the reasons I moved here is to live without a car.Since it's a manual transmission, there are three types of people I'd recommend this for:1.Tri-state/NYC commuters who enjoy manual transmission2.Tri-state/NYC residents who occasionally want to drive out of the city3.Residents outside of the tri-city areaAll of the above will enjoy the control and power that manual transmission gives while also loving how compact and versatile the car is. Note that with its compartments and space, you can get a surprising amount of stuff in the car, and keep rather handy items in there while being respectably organized. It's perfect for the above city residents, especially because of its compact size: very easy to park in any tiny space!2007-2013 Jan: Original Owner Arizona.2013 Jan -- Present: Me (second owner), in Arizona; Portland, OR; and NYC.Maintenance: Always kept this in excellent shape.When I say most of the 91K miles are highway miles, I mean it! Purchased in Arizona by a guy who commonly drove it from city to an adjacent city, I made 3-4 round trips from Tucson, AZ through the west coast to Portland, OR. In 2015 the car sat with family for over a year while I was out of the country and was used only monthly to maintain it. In late 2016 when I returned, I performed a variety of free Toyota recalls that had cropped up, performed regular maintenance (always at an authorized Toyota dealer), and drove it across country while keeping it in excellent condition.<1K miles and <3 weeks ago on the east coast, I performed the following maintenance at an authorized Toyota Dealer:•90K checkup•Transmission fluid change (sooo smooth!)•Timing Belt Change (I think that's the name of the belt)•Oil change, fluids topped off, etc.Tires were replaced about 10K miles ago and still have good tread (apologies for not photographing tire tread).After arriving in Manhattan, this has been driven less than 100 miles in the city.There is some significant wear on the outside middle section of the driver's chair. Since I was sitting there when I began taking pictures, I forgot to take a good picture of it. The fabric is worn. The original owner explained this to me: he's a bit overweight and when he left the car his body would rub the fabric, wearing it down. It's noticeable, visually, when you first look at the car, but after a few days it's forgettable.Features, just for clarity:•Perfect temperature control (heating and cooling). This car cooled me very nicely through two rough Arizona summers, the cooling has been maintained and still works well. •No odors (smokers have never been in the car)•Auxillary input (mp3, cell phone, whatever you want) + standard radio and CD player•Airbags (driver's and passenger, I'm 99% sure)•Fog lights•Power windows + power locks•Rear windshield wiper + windshield fluid output to clean it while driving (very useful on the interstate!)•LOTS of storage space. Seriously, you can fit four people with average airline carry-on items comfortably, or two people with a TON of stuff in here. Look at the storage compartments both up front and all the storage space in the trunk!Sale Includes:•Original wireless key (a little beat up, see pics, but fully functional without problems)•Original standard (manual) key•Accessories: Cell phone mount (pictured left of steering wheel)•Accessories: Double-USB cigarette port charger•Accessories: male-male stereo audio cable and two (2!) micro-USB cables. If you have an iPhone you'll need to have your own charging cable.•Tire pressure gauge•Trunk: Jumper Cables•Trunk: Spare Tire / Jack / Towing hitch•Trunk: First Aid Kit (old) •Extra washer fluid concentrate•Original manuals and all maintenance paperwork•All the paperwork you'd like!Condition: Great/Good condition quality (I haven't researched the technical difference.) Notes:•ACCIDENT, OTHER PARTY 100% LIABLE: In late 2013 or early 2014 (can't remember and didn't look it up), I was in a very minor collision with a personal truck. There were no injuries and the insurance companies were contacted quickly (but not the police). There was very minor cosmetic damage to the front fender only. The other party was 100% liable and their insurance repaired the car within about two weeks.•The rear-right seatbelt does not buckle properly, but I've almost never had more than two people in the car.•Wireless electronic key is in pretty poor asthetic condition, but works perfectly and has never failed to unlock/lock the car.•A few small scratches, and two light dents noted in pictures: one on the driver's door, one on the rear right bumper. Both must have happened when I was parked and away from the car because in each case I didn't notice for a few days, and in any case have never filed an insurance claim regarding those.Sale/Negotiation/Transfer:Car is parked in NYC. Contact me to talk about seeing it, but know I will probably only entertain serious offers. What do I consider serious? You arrive ready to test drive, negotiate, and pay in the same day. Take a break at a coffee shop or gas station or elsewhere, if you need a break, but be ready to do all those things the same day.
