Blown head gasket, just before Christmas. It currently starts, but I don't want to drive it to further damage it. This is a great car for someone who can do the work themselves. The car was just inspected and serviced; so you can feel safe driving it anywhere. The interior is in good condition. It's clean with no rips, showing a little wear and tear. The exterior is also in good condition with a few scuffs and scratches, but the paint shines up very nicely. NOTE: The car has 163K miles, but the title shows 174K, which is due to an error when registering the vehicle. The miles on the car are the true mileage. Overall' a really nice vehicle that's really good on gas. This is an ideal car for a student or daily driver, and would make a wonderful Christmas gift. Thanks!

This car needs no major work, & should be good for at least another 100K miles before another timing belt is due. This car could easily last another 150K miles, with proper oil changes and minor maintenance. ~ This is a great, reliable and practical car--especially for a student or commuter. Why I am selling this car after extensive repairs: This was my son's car when it overheated a few weeks ago; he needed another car immediately and bought a very similar Acura RSX. Since then, I've had this Civic repaired just the same as I would have if I was keeping it for the long term. This Civic is a more practical & worry-free car than the RSX; however, the primary driver has decided to keep the RSX... This is a great, comfortable car with many luxury features, including a sunroof. We are reluctantly selling it because we own two vehicles, but only need one. We have maintained it diligently in the 9 years we have owned it, following all the manufacturer's service recommendations. It has never given us any trouble, and it comes with some great extras, not the least of which is an after-market satellite radio which has functioned for the last 7 years in spite of the fact that we don't pay for a subscription. I can't guarantee that will continue to work for free, but after 7 years, the chances are pretty good. If you buy the car, you can decide for yourself if it's ethical to use it.The timing belt was replaced at about 80,000 miles.
