Finding any CRX in this condition is difficult, let alone an unmodified one. Paint and body is excellent, with only a few small blemishes shown in the photos below. The interior is also in excellent condition, with the only notable wear being on the side bolster of the drivers seat. The automatic climate control works excellent and the A/C blows cold. We’ve put over 500 trouble free miles on the car since we’ve had it. The only issues we found were a worn motor mount, and worn bushings, so we replaced those. The bushing service included rear trailing arms, control arms, and radius arms. Front sway bar link bushings were replaced as well. The handling is now very crisp and precise, just how a CRX should be. This car is being sold by Roadtrip Motorcars, a licensed and insured dealer and importer located in Brownsville, KY (near Bowling Green). 1991 Honda CRX HF. This classic little Honda has served as my wife's daily driver for over five years now. We originally purchased this car on eBay in December 2010 and have enjoyed every minute behind the wheel. We are offering it for sale now because my wife is ready for a car with modern features (like power steering and power windows). This car is 98% stock, only additions are tinted windows and professionally installed seat heaters - that's right, a Honda CRX with heated seats! This is the HF (high fuel) model with a 5 speed manual transmission. The transmission shifts with all the smoothness you expect from Honda. Car regularly gets 45+ mpg (a bad tank is low 40's, we've seen as high as 53 mpg on a road trip). A/C works great. Car was repainted in 2013 after original red had faded, as Honda's red tends to do over time. This is not a perfect show car, but a very, very nice example of one of Honda's best-loved little cars. The exterior of this car is in very good shape. There are a few small dings and the trim around both rear side windows is spotted (Both doors have new-old-stock trim). In 2013 both rear wheel wells were just starting to show rust, this was professional repaired when the car was painted - however, it is now starting to reappear with a very small spot of rust (dime-sized) starting to surface on both wheel wells. The interior is in very nice shape. The only exception is the driver's seat has one rough spot that is a little worn on the side bolster close to the driver's door. The carpet on the passenger's side has a stain from where a crockpot spilled some chili as my wife was merging onto the interstate - the chili was fantastic though! Recent maintenance includes new alternator, new tires and new brakes (front and rear). Car has been serviced regularly throughout our ownership. Only current issue is that sometimes the clutch feels tight - we have had this inspected and been told that the clutch has a lot of life left in it - however, I feel it will probably need to be replaced at some point in the near future. Also, the rear window defroster has never worked since we’ve owned the car. I have tried my best to represent this car in an honest manor. There is no warranty or any guarantees made with this car - remember it is 25 years old, and is now considered a collectable. 1992 Honda Prelude si. Auto 122,000 miles. The crankcase pulley (harmonica balancer) came off and I was told it threw the timing and the pulley key is still stuck in. Was told the engine would need to be replaced or rebuilt. There was $450 put in the engine before this happened. Also the front underneath had most things replaced right before this happened: strut and suspension parts. ($1200 total I think). The interior is good and the outside is pretty good. The back quarter panel on the drivers side is flat black. The rest of the car is shiny black. This has been sitting for a couple of years. About 9 months ago I borrowed a battery and started it. It started right up and ideled for about 20 seconds and I turned it off. I was afraid with no crankshaft pulley I might damage the engine. I don't know if it would start now or not. Just didn't get around to fixing it. There is NO BATTERY. This will need to be towed. This is located in Erlanger Kentucky 8 miles from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.
