We maintained it regularly and drove it gently (we have 2 young children and are very conservative drivers). Were it not for the fact that we recently decided to purchase a travel trailer and hence are in need of a vehicle that can tow over 5,000 lbs we would NOT be selling our Element. SUMMARY The Good: ? NO accidents. ? Excellent mechanical and structural condition. ? All functions and accessories work (except 1 LED light on the temperature control panel) ? Routinely maintained. ? Paint is shiny. Interior is clean. No rust ? Great in the SNOW + Excellent Utility vehicle; Reliable engine The Bad: ? Minor body imperfections: There are a few dings on the roof and hood (Presumably from tree debris/acorns, pine cones, etc). There is a minor paint scuff on the plastic rear side panel (seems like a parking lot rub). There are a couple of smallish scratches on the tailgate (inflicted by a bike pedal). ? Above average road noise due to the Element's design- rubber flooring vs carpeting (IMHO the easy of cleaning the rubber flooring makes up for the slightly above average road noise). Up for sale is a 2006 Honda Insight which I recently purchased in Portland, Oregon. Our family has owned a few Insights over the years and these cars have never let us down. I have been patiently waiting for a meticulously maintained, mint condition Insight to come up for sale and decided to go for this one. Up to this point, I have only driven manual transmission Insights but decided to try out an automatic. I drove this Insight back to Alaska from Oregon and have now driven it around town for a few weeks. After getting this much time behind the wheel, I really can't see myself driving an automatic for the next 10 years, as picky as that may sound. I miss the experience of driving a stick shift already. The automatic Insights also do not get nearly as good mileage as the manuals do. I average about 60 MPG in my manual but only 50 MPG in the automatic. 50 is still better than most hybrids, however.I researched the possibility of converting it to a 5-speed and found out that it would be very difficult to do on this type of vehicle. The ECM would have to be changed and additional holes would have to be drilled for the clutch pedal. The manual transmission is mounted in a slightly different place than the automatic, which would also be a challenge. But if an automatic is what you are looking for, and you are not particular about MPG, this may be the right car for you. I have the vehicles carfax report which shows the vehicle as being a one-owner since it was brand new in 2006. It was purchased new in Connecticut. The owner moved to Oregon less than a year later. The vehicle was maintained in Oregon from 2007 until February of 2015. The carfax shows all recommended services being performed at a Honda dealership in Portland.The IMA battery that is currently in this Insight is the ORIGINAL battery and has not been replaced. The IMA battery was fully inspected by Ron Tonkin Honda in Portland, Oregon on February 16th, 2015. Absolutely no issues were found. The battery performed very well on the trip to Alaska and charges and regenerates as normal. The only imperfections include minor rock chips in the hood and a few scuffs in the rear bumper (shown in one of the pictures). There are no issues with any of the switches or electronic features of the car.The only thing it currently needs is front tires. I can have the tires replaced and can include that in the final sale price before you come to pick up the Insight. It's a unique vehicle to have in this area and does well in the winter with winter tires. If you are flying in from outside Alaska, I will bring the car to Anchorage International Airport and arrange my own transportation back home. I actually live about two hours from the airport.I am open to offers. I will be driving the vehicle on a daily basis while it is listed for sale (about 20 miles a day).

2003 Honda S2000 - Grand Prix White w/ Tan InteriorRebuilt in 2008 - Happily owned and driven for many years since. Hardtop not included.Please read the description in its entirety before bidding. Thank you. Please do not bid if you are not ready to buy. This is being re-listed due to a non-paying bidder! For auction is my 2003 Honda S2000. It is Grand Prix White with a Tan leather interior with just under 100k miles. It is in excellent condition and works perfectly, but it carries a rebuilt title. Everything works as it should, including the A/C, cruise control, heater, power windows, convertible top, and all other systems. The only thing that is not working correctly to my knowledge is the buzzer letting you know you left the lights on when the door is opened. The top is in excellent condition and has a glass rear window. The engine is smooth with no issues or hesitation. The transmission is smooth and firm with no grinds or irregular synchro noises. No irregular noise from the drivetrain, driveshaft, or differential. The clutch has been replaced and is tight and works well. The suspension works great and makes no irregular noises. The alignment is good and the vehicle drives straight. The tires are Toyo Proxes R888s. These list for over $1000 a set on Tire Rack. They have 80% tread remaining (measured) with only 4 heat cycles on them. It has never been tracked or autocrossed, the tires are from a different S2000 The interior is in excellent shape, but the driver's seat shows normal wear consistent with the mileage and the roll hoop behind the driver's seat is a little loose. There are no lights on the dash (check engine light, srs light, abs, etc.). The windows are tinted. The timing tensioner has been replaced with the revised version. It is a non-smoker car and smells neutral with no irregular smells. The clutch has already been replaced ($1700) as has the convertible top ($1800). The tires are almost new ($1000) and it has had recent maintenance and a revised TCT ($200). This is not your typical rebuilt S2000 and has been very well cared for. The original owner had it until 2007 and sold it with 25k miles on it. The second owner lost control and ended up damaging the car by going off the road. The lower front end was damaged by an embankment (the hood is original with the original VIN sticker, as are the fenders but they have been repaired) and the damage doesn't go past the radiator support. The driver's door was damaged (and subsequently replaced), the rear driver's quarter was repaired, and light damage on the rear passenger quarter was repaired. The damage was mostly cosmetic, but due to being around the entire car, it was totaled out. The VIN stickers are present on all panels except for the front bumper, fenders, driver's door and rear driver's quarter. VIN stickers are present on the hood, passenger door, rear passenger quarter, trunk, and rear bumper. The rear bumper has paint over the sticker. Please note S2000 values were at their lowest in the winter of 2008 due the economic crash pushing values down as well as it being the end of the production cycle. Prices have risen since then. The rebuilder kept the car for a year and drove it all summer. He put 4000 miles on it and then sold it to the third owner, who kept it from 45k miles in late 2008 until 92k miles in late 2013. My friend purchased it at that point and has had it since then. He is an engineer and only put 8000 miles on it in the last 2 years. I purchased it at the beginning of the year to keep as a track car, but I ended up buying an already prepped track car instead, so I am selling it and keeping the hardtop. The title is on hand. The GA DMV has confirmed it is a clear GA title with a branding that says it was previously salvaged out of state. I can guarantee no GA buyer will have any difficulty titling or registering the car. Out of state buyers need to check with their DMV as to the specific rules of their state. It is worth being aware that GA is one of the more difficult states to deal with as far as a rebuilt title goes. Both Minnesota and South Carolina were no problem. I can provide a copy of the title at your request. It runs better than most S2000s with 100k miles that I've seen and is a real pleasure to drive. The 2003 models are highly desirable, especially in white, and have a lot of upgrades over the 00-01 models.
