The other fees include taxes, shipping and documentation charges. If you live in Texas, you must pay 6.25% of the sales price of the car as a tax to the state. All buyers are required to pay Texas Vehicle Inventory Tax (VIT) tax of .2162% of the purchase price. (The VIT Tax is based on the county in Texas where the dealership is located, Power Motors is located in Johnson County).
