For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is a cool and custom 1971 Scout 800 B. This is a full frame off, five year build, restoration. Every single piece of metal on this Scout has been removed, sand blasted, primer coated and painted. A POR 15 Hard Nose two-part dark blue paint was used to paint the: Frame, arms for the 3 link on the front, shock tubes, and the underbelly. While it was stripped down, all the bolts were replaced with grade 8 bolts and body mounts replaced as well. The exterior body has been professionally painted with PPG Global custom light aqua blue with a touch of green. With multiple coats of clear, this color scheme is glossy and screams \"Take me to the beach!\" The removable top has a nice glossy white finish, to make the rest of the car pop! All the rubber seals (doors, windows, body etc) on the Scout have been replaced. The owner spared at no expense, restoring this car with custom and rare parts. Per example, the side mirrors are a very rare, hard to find set of Yankee \"bullet\" mirrors. The aluminum grill and head light bezels were buffed and polished to a nice finish, which makes passer-bys double take and gawk. The bed has been reinforced with stronger, thicker metal, assuring this ride is just as tough as it is beautiful. New Scout emblems were used for the finishing touches. The front bumper was replaced with a beautiful, chrome Smittybuilt dual tube front bumper. The rear bumper was replaced with a modern chrome plated bumper. With all of this show, one could only hope it has an equal amount of GO! Rest assured, that it does! To power this International Scout for sale is a custom Chevy block 383 stroker with less than 400 miles. This motor has been professionally honed and bored .030 over with forged 4340 internals, 6 inch full stroke rods, Comp Cam extreme 4x4 camshaft, AFR heads, Ultra pro Magnum rocker arms, custom Holley carburetor with Edelbrock Air Gap, MSD ignition with 6AL2 digital and MSD cables, and high output mechanical fuel pump. To keep the motor oil flowing is a Moroso racing oil pump with a Moroso Deep low profile off road racing oil pan. The pulley system is a March Performance polished aluminum pulley kit. This small block Chevy would be equally as happy behind any Chevy muscle car, as it would this big and bad 71\' Scout for sale! Backed behind this peppy engine, is a TH 350 automatic transmission, which was completely rebuilt and shifts through a K%26N slap shifter. With the Trans Go shift kit, large volume K and N aluminum transmission oil pan, and a exterior oil cooler to keep fluids cool, this transmission was built to last! The NP 205 transfer case was completely rebuilt to be bullet-proof, with new seal and components. Beefed up out-puts connecting custom drive shaft. To add some grip and stop to all of this go, New Warn locking Hubs were added, as well as new performance rotors on the front along with Hawk pads. New Calipers, new brake booster, and new break lines were added, to give this Scout, the complete once-over. The vehicle handles the beefy Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires with ease, via a Power Steering Pump off of the Scout II that was sent out, rebuilt and fabricated. A chrome aftermarket steering column and Borgenson joints route around the headers. The steering wheel, made out of walnut wood, is connected to the column and has a nostalgic feel to it. It has a full 3 link suspension on the front, professionally done, with all joints, chromoly steel arms, brackets, etc, from Ballastic Fabrication. It has King Coil Shocks (coil overs) that have 14 inches of travel. The rear is a spring over Pro Comp 3 inch lift kit with Bilstein shocks. The tires are brand new Mickey Thompson MTZ 35 inch 12.5\'s . If you wanted bigger tires on this beast you could easily do it, but any taller and you may have to bring out the step ladder!. The rims are polished aluminum off road wheels. This scout has a 19 gallon aluminum gas tank centered and tucked up under the rear truck bed towards the back of the truck. It is really nice to have for those long distance excursions. With the drivetrain aside, all that\'s left is the interior. This 1971 International Scout for sale was totally rewired, with an 18-circuit painless wiring kit. They run power to an awesome set of Arctic white Auto meter gauges that were placed in a custom dash. They look just right, complimenting the new white vinyl bucket seats and bench! It has a nice and modern Alpine head unit with remote, which still needs to be installed. This Scout for is equipped with various options, including an aftermarket air conditioner and heating system made by NAP air conditioning products, which is tucked under the dash on the passenger side below the glove box. Other options, include: A/C, AM/FM radio, CD, manual convertible top, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, seat belts, vinyl interior, and aluminum/alloy wheels wrapped in performance radial tires. Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this nicely restored, well documented and highly optioned 1980 International Scout II. Finished in correct Tahitian Red (a deep metallic bronze shade), paint quality is excellent and panels are straight with good gaps. Original front and rear bumpers are in good condition showing only minor patina; most seals and gaskets are new and all glass is good. 32x11.50 Pro Comp mud terrains on chrome steel wheels. Underside is solid with no known rust issues. My favorite thing about the truck, though, is the tri-color graphics package -- the "waves" applique was specified on the line setting ticket and has been faithfully reproduced in the original factory design. The interior shows well with factory "pillow top" bucket seats in excellent condition; carpet, door panels, headliner, dash and steering wheel are all very good. Original factory AM/FM stereo is still in the dash, but a modern AM/FM/CD stereo is mounted in the locking center console. All gauges, lights, switches and indicators work properly. Highly optioned with 345 cubic inch V8, automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, tilt steering wheel, sliding rear quarter windows and factory luggage rack. Service records dating back to the mid-1990s with a documented engine rebuild in 2004; recent work includes a new brake master cylinder, water pump, heater control valve, steering stabilizer and muffler. In addition to the service records, we also have copies of the factory line setting ticket, the original window sticker and even the EPA fuel economy label. 1980 International Harvester S1700 Stake Bed Truck Here we have a super cool International available for your consideration. It is very hard to find one of these in this nice of shape. This truck has been very well taken care of over the years and is Originally from the State of Washington. You can still see the State of Washington logo/name on the doors. Please look at the photos and ask questions. Reserve is set well below value! Lots of money was just invested in the truck to add some items and rebuild engine etc. See below... CONDITION: Body is solid and rust free. Underside is dry and has only surface rust(See Photos) Hood is fiberglass and does have a small crack on Driver side Front Fender (very easy fix)Paint on cab is more than likely Original from when truck was put into service in the 80's. It is faded and thin. Cab is rust free. Cab corners are like new. Floors are solid. No issuesThe bed is in very good condition as wellTires are older but have lots of tread left (See Photos)Pass. rear tire does have some dry cracking but have not posed any issues for me. INTERIOR: Inside Cab is very clean. Seats are in very good condition with minimal wear. The Dash is cracked from sun fade.Floors are clean and rust free. Engine is a 404 V8 and has just been rebuilt. 5 SPEED MANUAL with @ SPEED REAR END The exhaust manifold had a crack so when the manifolds were replaced, the repair shop had to remove engine to get to bolts. Since this was being done, they suggested to rebuild the entire top end of the motor, so that is what has been done. Heads rebuilt with harden valve seats etc. New exhaust manifolds.This truck runs excellent. While that was done the brakes were also done.**NOTE** This truck has Manual drum brakes front and rear. It does take a strong leg to drive and stop it. Its a classic and old school in that department!Truck has 2 speed rear end. Power Steering works great. Very Fun to Drive this Old Truck!! Also has a Custom Steel Fabricated Roller to mount on rear of Bed for the winch cable to roll over when pulling up a load. It's beautifully restored to show standards and really stands out in an increasingly crowded field. This handsome pickup has been treated to a recent frame-on restoration that gives it the perfect blend of good looks, refreshed cosmetics, and do-anything functionality. In short, you can take this one to Home Depot on Saturday to do your hauling and still have fun at the car show on Sunday. Hunter Green paint looks great on the curvy sheetmetal, and thanks to a recent color sand and buff, has a fantastic shine. With a barrel-shaped grille, it stands out from the usual brands, and it generates a lot of attention simply by virtue of its uniqueness. International pioneered the use of an all-steel bed, which has been covered in diamond plate for durability, and sitting on a 125-inch wheelbase, it carries an 8-foot bed so you can carry the big stuff with ease. The chrome trim, ranging from the excellent hood ornament to the door handles to the accessory front bumper, is in great condition, too. The interior is working-class simple, but that's part of the appeal of old pickups. The green vinyl bench seat was replaced during the recent freshening and still looks like new, the floors are fitted with a reproduction rubber mat, and the simple door panels are painted to match the body. The steering wheel wears a green wrap that makes it a bit easier to grab and hold and really dresses things up inside. The gauges are original and they are in surprisingly good condition, with secondary controls clustered in the center of the painted steel dash. For ventilation there's a crank-open windshield as well as an under-dash heater. Power for all KB-series pickups came from International's bulletproof 214 cubic inch inline-six, known as the "Green Diamond." With 82 horsepower and 160 pounds of torque, it was competitive with the trucks from the other guys, but where it really shines is durability. The engine bay wears fresh green paint on the engine, a correct single-barrel carburetor, and quite a few new components, including fresh tune-up gear, an air filter, and belts and hoses. Checking the block and the firewall data plate indicates that this is indeed the truck's original, matching-numbers engine and it runs superbly. It starts easily with just a little choke, and has a wonderful commercial-grade grumble from the exhaust system, which is new. A 4-speed manual gearbox was intended for tough conditions, and first gear is probably superfluous today, as it pulls away smartly in second and fourth is direct drive, so it can cruise happily at 50 MPH. The chassis is extremely clean with no signs of rust or previous accident damage, so if you're looking for a truck with a clean history, you won't find many nicer than this. The recently serviced hydraulic brakes are reasonably good for a vehicle of this vintage, and the original 16-inch steel wheels have been painted black, fitted with "dog dish" hubcaps, and a set of authentic-looking Michelin radials. A cool old truck that looks exactly right as-is, or could be the foundation of something truly unique. Reliable, fun, and practical, this International will cause a stir wherever it goes simply by virtue of its rarity; when was the last time you saw one? This 1980 International Scout II has a great look, clad in Dark Brown with a Winter White hard top and an awesome orange "spear stripe" applique. The truck has been repainted to a nice standard, and the colors and graphics appear as they originally left the factory. Panels are straight with good gaps; bumpers, trim, grille, glass and rubbers are excellent. Typical rust areas in floor pans and inner rockers have been repaired. Original paint under the hood and in door jambs. Newer Michelin tires. Factory roof rack. The interior shows well and is in remarkably mostly original condition; dash, carpet, door panels, headliner and original Desert Tan seat upholstery are all excellent (save a single button missing from the driver's seat bottom). Original AM radio still works. All gauges, lights, switches and indicators are working; both heat and A/C are working. Notice to Bidders We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. Bid Retractions Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end. Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction. Negative Feedback Bidders We do not allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. New bidders with zero feedback rating should email us or call us prior to bidding. Successful Bidder The winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes or he/she must contact Adventure Autos within 24 hours to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements. Non-Paying Bidder If the deposit is not received within 2 business days of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 5 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer. Disclaimer Please be advised that some of our cars are still covered under full factory warranty. Otherwise, they are being sold "as-is" unless otherwise stated, which has been previously driven and has been subjected to normal wear and tear, both cosmetically and mechanically. We attempt to recondition all vehicles to like new prior to offering them for purchase. We describe all vehicles as accurately as possible; however it is not possible to include every minute detail and imperfection. At potential buyer expense, we suggest that you have your vehicle inspected prior to purchase, from an outside reputable company or dealership, and we are willing to assist you with the arrangements upon request. Our vehicles go on test drives and are sometimes placed on loan; therefore the mileage may not be exact. Since this is a pre-owned vehicle, we may or may not have all keys, books, floor mats etc. Please do not expect a pre-owned vehicle to be absolutely perfect, without even smallest rock chip on paint or other wear and tear items depending on year and mileage. Please be sure to discuss and resolve all details and technicalities regarding the description and items available with your Representative prior to completion of purchase.
