Up for auction is a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo bug-out 4x4, satin black in color. When we got it I was told it was a 1994 model, but some of the information appears it is a 1995, but I am not positive. This car starts and drives well. Was used as a spare car for awhile and then an off-road buggy for someones vacation cabin. The next guy bought it for his daughter, but she couldnt handle driving a stick so he sold it to us. We have driven it into town a few times, needs some work but a good cheap little SUV if you can do some work yourself or need a ranch buggy. GOOD: - paint is good and durable - high end optima battery - engine fires every time, havent had any issues with it not starting or running - all glass is good, stickers were good, will get them updated if need be BAD: - the engine does tick and burn oil. I have read this is common on these engines as they age, havent had any trouble out of it other than getting used to it. Much like those inline jeep 6 cylinders that tick and burn oil but continue to run for 300,000 miles I guess. - All of the windows all work, but some of the switches dont work and need to be replaced. - one plastic corner of the rear bumper is broken (see photos) - tires are all pretty worn out and could stand to be replaced, unless your keeping it on the ranch and dont care. - dipstick tube needs to be replaced, but part comes with the truck (unless I can get it installed before the auction ends and then it will be done) Just a cheap little SUV you dont have to worry about scratching if you need something like this to traverse the wasteland after WW3. The vehicle is a great vehicle as I have owned for six plus years garage kept and maintained as expected. I bought the truck in 2009 with 74K and I was aware of the history of a side damage repair by dealer that I must say was great job. No mechanical issues I know of other than the mentioned. It has 144,000 highway miles as I live in rural north florida which is less than 10K per year. This truck will climb a wall with the 4x4 engaged and dances with power kinda scary. Runs like a top and has had oil every 3000 miles and recently changed timing belt, serpentine belt and water pump and pulleys at 120K. I put new heavy duty shocks all the way around at 100K. I have many extra parts to go with this vehicle such as rear lights, internal switches various, brand new front CV axels in box, center arm rest and moonroof cover. I would not hesitate to go cross country in this vehicle right now as I trust her from many yearz of service together. Fifteen years old and going strong and built to do 300K easy with the right care. What does this vehicle need, well honestly a couple tires soon on rear, fix the fuel sender bologna, if worried fix the small rust spots, frame is great shape, close to time for another transmission service as I completed this at 90K and that's just me. I added the trailer hitch to tow my 12ft river boat and 8ft trailer to haul little things but rarely use. No saltwater useage or beaching. Interior is in good condition overall. There is some wear as I did not care to much about that stuff but has been smoked in but never use ash tray in car. My mom burned a small hole in rear on vacation but nothing major. No cracks on dash really good quality car. I don't really like putting water and chemicals on my engines and have never majorly cleaned motor or compartment so photos will be raw and unedited for this purpose as-is. I accept only cash or cashiers check and must clear before transfer of title which is close by in High Springs if familiar with area. Really a nice 4x4 for the money.
