For sale is my 1999 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas Supercharged V8. This is a very rare car, it has the luxury of a longwheel-base Vanden Plas and the power of an XJR. The price new at the dealer was close to $100K, that was the reason not too many people opted to order this top of the line-version and ordered an already luxurious base XJ8 or VDP instead. I bought this car in South Florida with the intention of keeping it in my garage as a weekend car and waiting as it eventually becomes an collectible classic one day. However, since a few things changed around me, this car is available for the next owner. Like already mentioned earlier, this is the ultimate edition of the XJ8 -305 Series. I'm not going to list all the options this particular Jaguar has, because it has EVERYTHING, what was available from the factory at this time. The car is in great, all original condition and was always kept in a garage. No rust, still has factory paint and never involved in any accidents (still has all the factory ID stickers in place) . The interior is super clean, leather is still soft and nice, the wood trim and dashboard are excellent. Everything works as it should, has ice-cold A/C. The tires, battery, fuel pump, filters, brakes and fluids have been changed recently. First owner kept the car in a climate-controlled garage of his vacation home in South Florida, thus the low mileage. There are No fluid/oil leaks of any kind. Although the car still looks stunning, it does have a few blemishes. Due to the fact that the car spend its whole life in Florida, the clear coat starts showing first light signs of aging in a few spots, mainly on the top, lids and fuel door. It only shows in direct sun light in the form of slight hazing at close up inspection, you have to look very hard and most people do not even notice it. I am very particular and therefore I feel I should address it. Besides of that, the car still has a nice glossy paint, looks excellent and turns heads everywhere I go.I provided plenty of pictures and invite anyone who want to come and see the car in person. Up for sale is a 2000 Jaguar xj8 Black in color,It used to be british racing green, painted with 2 stage paint It has NEW front rotors,new front upper shock mount bushings,new valve cover gaskets,new water pump new window tint,newspark plugs,new tires all the way around 1 size wider than factory,new accumulator,new winshield wiper,2 new turbo mufflers,new paint,wheels painted gun metal grey, This car runs and drives great ,I would trust it to take me anyware,The only thing that needs attention is the a/c blower motors, it has 2 of them under the dash,the drivers 1 works ,the passenger 1 does not ,so I have 2 replacements that go with the car because I dont have time to replace them, It still gets cold enough in the car but work be better with 2 working, It has a fresh charge in the a/c system works good no leaks,other than that every thing in this car works,The interior has the typical leather cracks for this year of a car but the new seat covers work good also new floor mats,the carpet is very clean, The engine is very strong it has no funny noises,very quiet,The transmission shifts great,There is no lights on the dash, I have been driving this car evey day for about a month with no issues, I am selling because I thought I could get along without a truck but I cant, so its gotta go, Also I have a new set of front brake pads for it even though it doesnt need them yet, GOOD LUCK HAPPY BIDDING This car has 167000 miles and purrrrssss like a kitten.
