Plastic brackets break, window will slide down and not respond to switch. This is a common problem on this generation of Jeep Libertys. I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty that I purchased with a bad engine. I rebuilt a 3.7 engine and it has a lot of other brand new parts on it. New intake manifold, new serpentine belt, new upper and lower radiator hoses, new radiator, new water pump, new thermostat,new battery and the engine is 40 over -re-manufactured short block. I have over $3300.00 in the engine and parts . It runs great! The automatic transmission works great as well as the 4 wheel drive works great also. It has restored aluminium rims with nice all season tires and also has another complete set of winter tread tires mounted on a set of steel rims for winter driving. The body is in very good condition, with no rust holes. It was well taken care of by an older couple and wasn't abused . I bought this Liberty with the intention of putting a plow on it and I have decided that I need a 4x4 Dodge short box truck instead. If you have any questions, Please feel free to ask.
