For Sale is my 1984 Jeep Scrambler. This Jeep has only 126....k miles on it (I'm still driving it so the mileage may go up some), but almost everything was JUST rebuilt or replaced within the last 600 miles and I have receipts for pretty much everything to go with it. About $8,500 worth of work. This jeep was purchased new in New Mexico and then spent part of it's life in Arizona so the body is in great shape and could be easily prepped and freshly painted if you wanted. I actually like having a nice fresh drive train etc under the original Ice Blue color with the original decals on it for a cool patina look. I've never seen another one in Ice Blue with the stripes and eagle/hawk on it. I've actually never seen this decal set on any jeep. BELOW IS THE WORK THAT WAS JUST PERFORMED: BRAND NEW A/C ICE COLD (Have Receipt, this was almost $1,000 alone just for the kit) It blows cold before you even drive anywhere. ALL NEW COMPLETE BRAKE SYSTEM, MASER CALIPERS, SHOES, DRUMS, WHEEL CYL, ROTORS ETC, Master Cylinder.. (Have Receipts) NEW DRAG LINK 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION REBUILT (Have Receipt with 1 year warranty) NEW SHIFTER Dana 300 TRANSFER CASE REBUILT (Have Receipt) RADIATOR IS NEW PRO-COMP SUSPENSION 2.5" LIFT (Have Receipts, Rides Great!) SHOCKS AND BUSHINGS (Have Receipts) MOTOR MOUNTS, TRANS MOUNT, DRIVE SHAFT U-JOINTS (Have Receipts) 5 BRAND NEW BFG RADIAL ALL TERRAINS 31X10.50-15 (have Receipts) BRAND NEW BESTOP BUCKET SEATS Trailmax II (have receipts) BRAND NEW BESTOP MATCHING CONSOLE BRAND NEW EXHAUST W/Converter and even EGR so it will pass smog even in CA without a problem I'd imagine. UPDATED HEADLIGHTS (Huge Difference, Uses Philips H4 Bulbs) ALL FLUIDS FLUSHED AND SERVICED WITH NEW THERE'S UNDER 600 MILES SINCE ALL THE ABOVE WORK WAS COMPLETED The Engine was rebuilt 22k miles ago I was told and it drives great. It will run on the hwy at about 65mph without pushing it no problem. If you want a bigger engine for some reason then put one in it. If this had the 6 cylinder this would be for sale for well over 16k for sure and you can put a new 4.2L or V8 in it for less than the difference, but it is a great daily driver the way it is! This is the Scrambler to have if you don't want to have to worry about replacing anything expensive since everything has already been done. Just get in and daily drive it. I drove the jeep to on the hwy back to NV for over 4 hours when I purchased it without a problem and averaged about 18mpg over all the hills with the A/C on. These things aren't made for the highway (noisy etc, hence the reason I've bought new seals etc and installed some already to help with the noise as you can read below), but I'd not hesitate to drive it on long trips. It really is setup to be a great vintage looking daily driver with A/C! Other Jeep guys have been doing double takes when I'm out driving it. The previous owner has a Mercedes dealership in Scottsdale, AZ and had his mechanics go through this and do all the work to install the parts above so he could take it on an Alaska trip, but the trip never happened so it was sold. I've been fixing some things up since I've had it as well. I've ordered a few parts and already installed some of them that will be included. NEW DOOR LOCKS- (already installed), REPAIR MANUAL (included) NEW FULL DOOR WEATHER STRIPS (Driver's installed, haven't gotten around to doing the passengers yet. Passenger included if I have not installed before sold) NEW TOP WEATHERSTRIPPING WITH TOP TO WINDSHIELD SEAL ((all new in wrapper)... The cabin noise is getting much quieter and if you added carpet it would be the next best step if you cared about that sort of thing) NEW KICKER CS5 5.25" DASH SPEAKERS (Installed) NEW DOOR PANEL CLIPS (already installed) NEW REAR VIEW MIRROR (installed). BLF Front Bumper (I've also purchased New D-Rings for the bumper to be included) It has some normal wear and tear obviously being 30 years old and ORIGINAL EXTERIOR. There is a dent on the tailgate where the tire carrier was pushed into it (primarily only the tailgate, which cannot be seen with the spare on and is less than $100 for a new one if you decided to fix before painting). It has about 1" of play still in the steering and I've read that it's probably the castor from the lift (since the drag link etc has been done), but it hasn't bothered me enough to take it in for an alignment. I can do a walk around on the phone or answer any questions. Clean and Clear AZ Title IN HAND. Carfax on hand as well. All Paperwork (original owners manual etc) and receipts for parts included with the Jeep. I will help with shipping any way I can if needed. 1993 YJ 98k miles clean jeep from New Mexico originally no rust no rot. frames clean and has been undercoated before I owned it. 38' swampers with good life left no dry rot. Jeep has 11 inches total lift including a spring over. dual batteries one brand new with the switch inside to keep it single or dual. Ford 9'' axle in the rear with Dana 44 in the front. military seat covers with extra storage, locking glove box and locking center console. slip yolk eliminator aftermarket drive shaft. speakers in the against the roll cage. full custom roll cage made by CRF. New waterpump, fuel pump, belt, aftermarket fuel tank which is larger. aluminum rims in ok condition. brandnew bush wacker 6 inch fender flares. hard top rocker guards stinger bumper brand new smoked out lights all around locking hood after market oil cooler. rear bumper has built in hitch receiver. jeep runs amazing and drives straight down the road, a lot of time and money in her. THE BAD- small chip in the windshield smaller than a quarter inch small bubble around the windshield and the front left fender has a small crack in the corner.

I bought this Jeep about 4 or 5 years ago for my son. He just went off to college last year and I bought him a new car so this doesn't get used much. I keep it stored in my warehouse and I need the room so I've decided to sell it. It has been a great vehicle and I just drove it on a 4500 mile round trip from Houston down to Belize and back through Mexico kayak fishing. It has new oil and filter, coolant flush, tune up, new transfer case fluid, several new u joints and I had the valve cover gasket replaced due to leaking oil. It runs great and needs nothing. It is a Rocky Mountain Edition with a Dana 30 in the front and a Dana 44 in the rear with a 231 transfer case. It has the great 4.0 engine along with a 6 speed trans that cruises great down the highway at 75 mph. Ac and cruise work great, it has a cold air kit and flowmaster exhaust that really wakes it up and a new battery that starts every time. It has been very reliable while I've owned it. It has 5 new custom Ultra Motorsports wheels with 33x12.50x15 Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC tires. It has a 3.5 inch Rough Country Camo lift kit Has an awesome aftermarket stereo with an Alpine amp in the dash, aftermarket speakers, and a amp for a sub box under the rear seat. The subbox was removed but the amp and wiring remains. All the stereo work was done by Car Toys and was about 3000.00. Has 2 spotlights on the front bumper and 2 on the hood and lights up the road like crazy. I have had it professionally maintained while I've owned it and is in great shape and needs nothing. This specific Cherokee has the WideTrac Chief package. This is signified by the wider fender flares and more aggressive stance. This is one of the neatest Jeeps I have ever seen and has been extremely well taken care of. This Jeep was meticulously maintained and protected by its original owners and always pampered.This truck was bought new in Marshall, Texas and spent its life between North Texas and was in Ruidoso, New Mexico by 1982 as seen by the Ruidoso Jockey Club sticker on windshield. The Jeep has just received a freshening up both cosmetically and mechanically. The mileage is believed to be correct based on the overall originality of the Jeep. The bumpers and all other chrome trim are in excellent original condition and have been well preserved by the dry desert air and have no pitting or rust issues. The car is riding on aftermarket Jeep 15" wheels with progressive Capitol All Terrain tires and fresh hardware. The rear wheels have been kicked out 1.5" by bolt of spacer to really fill up those widened wheel flares. The aluminum mag wheels are in nice condition and have new center caps. The interior is in great shape all around and is 90% original with only a few seat panels replaced to make the interior perfect. The seats still retain the beautiful and comfortable embossed cream vinyl. The headliner was just replaced and carpets are original. All dials and controls function as they should and are illuminated at night. The dashboard is in excellent shape with no cracks. All windows work correctly and the rear window functions as it should. The under dash A/C system works great and was just serviced with a new compressor. Even the original Jeep Am/Fm radio is in working condition. Mechanically, this Cherokee runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts quite easily. The 5.9L 360ci engine has been fully tuned up with oil change and runs like a top! The previous owner really took care of this rig. The transfer cases were just flushed, cleaned, and serviced with new Jeep friction modifier fluid. Every mechanical system on this Jeep was gone through and given a clean bill of health. The engine compartment was fully detailed to original condition. All in all, this is one of the cleanest and most correct Cherokee that I have had the privilege of being associated with. With most of the details worked out over the phone and email,I planned on making the 100 mile trek too see if we could finalize the deal on a Saturday. I, however, could not make it for personal reasons. He kindly held the vehicle for me until Monday no questions asked.
