Nice "stock" 1957 Bel Air Convertible, being sold with BOTH stock wheels & wheel well extension covers, and also Foose wheels as pictured. This vehicle has had TWO titled owners in NJ since 1986. I have owned it for almost 3 years, but am now selling due to baby on the way. Under hood, and truck compartment are "show quality". Paint job is NOT show quality, and has defects & some scratches that are not visible from a distance. In spite of that, the car is a serious crowd pleaser, and receives compliments on every drive. The pictures were NOT altered except for the tag No., so you can see this is a nice car. Mechanical: This car has a current "standard" 2017 NJ Inspection sticker on it, NOT a "Historical" inspection, that limits use. Since purchasing almost three years ago, I have had the stock 2-speed Transmission professionally rebuilt; up-graded the headlights to halogen bulbs (still have the stock bulbs for show - included), replaced one horn (with stock replacement), done regular maintenance, and upgraded the wheels (Foose) & tires as pictured. The A/C has not worked since purchasing, and may just need a charge? Never needed it so I didn't bother with it. Choke does not work well, so I always warmed up prior to driving it. Temp gauge works intermittently, probably due to a bad wire, so I have a new wiring harness included. Insurance company values this vehicle at $74,000, not including the $2,000 worth of Foose wheels and tires. This vehicle is listed for sale locally, and I retain the right to end auction at any time if sold locally. Mileage maybe slightly higher than listed, as I will continue to drive - weather permitting.
