1984 109 2.25 petrol FFR 24V pick up. Spent it's life with 30 Commando Regiment till 1997. Has a bunch of interesting tails to tell and im sure has been on a couple trips to Norway. Once sold of was owned by the lead restore of aircraft at the Duxford air museum and used as his daily driver before we got it. Really sweet little 109. Chassis and bulkhead are in great condition. Canvas and safari truck cab are in great condition. The safari truck cab super rare. New exmoor plush series seats. Brand new set of 5 cooper discover tires . Drives great and very fast for a series. 1986 ex mod Defender 90. Brand new cylinder head fitted last year. Ive been driving it all winter and spring. Always starts even when 20 below blows good heat. I just took it on a 600 mile road trip last weekend and it cruised at 60-65mph and getting about 25mpg. Shifts and drives amazing. 100k miles showing. However it has a green engine fitted so been a recon at some point during its military life so probably less then 25-30K on engine. I did a timing belt in the UK before I shipped it over last year. Only other thing I have fitted is a 12v plug and a new windshield wiper switch. chassis is great, body and paintwork tidy not amazing but tidy, G90 tires with plenty of tread left , mechanics 100%.This will make a super daily driver Rover for the new owner.
