Fully manufactured 2000 Superformance Cobra recreation. The only replica to be licensed by Carol Shelby. A "No-Expense-Spared" example built to exacting standards with second-to-none quality and finish. It features ultra-hot jet Black paint with white stripes and roundels that has recently been wet sanded and buffed by Ron Randall at Metal Morphous Inc. Beautiful Black leather interior with legend correct Smith gauges with reverse winding speedometer. Under the hood is a balanced and blueprinted 402cid (stroked 351 Windsor), "high-budget" V8 putting out over 500hp/500lb-ft. Only 4900 miles since new. It is equipped with electronic fuel injection by Imagine Injection. A $7000.00 option for just the unit, not including the Haltech fuel management system and all the plumbing and wiring that's needed for its installation. This induction system has the reliability and performance of fuel injection, but the look of Webers with 8 induction stacks. This Car is being Sold As-IS 1975 Mercedes 450 SL Convertible. I recently purchased this car, and removed it from where it has sat idle for a little over 25 years. This car was in process of being restored when it was let sit (inside) This Car appears to have almost no rust. The car and trunk are packed full of parts, as of now I have not taken any inventory or removed any parts. Once I start pulling out the parts, I will clean them and sell them individually.I do not know specifics as to what is there, but there are a lot of parts. The car has a hard top, and soft top. There are new fenders, glass, and panels included. Some are installed, some are not. Brand new windshield is set on the car, but not installed. It is hard to see through the thick dust from having been stored for so long. I would prefer to only sell to people who can come see the car in person as it sits. Buyer would need to arrange shipping but I will help as much as possible. I can also deliver locally but confirm with me about your location before planning on having me deliver. We bought this last year from the second owner (a retired US military officer who had the same type truck when new) who completely restored the truck from a bare frame, nearly all original components were retained, blasted to metal then refinished in original colors & rebuilt, or replaced as required. The engine had been replaced in 1993 with a correct L-48/350, this was freshly rebuilt for this restoration to the original 260HP spec. Stock exhaust manifolds ceramic coated with custom all stainless exhaust on back. Front brakes are disc. Full records and photos of the restoration are present. Various records (titles/transfers, service & repair etc.) back to original owner present. Protect-O-Plate, build sheet, original owners manual, dealer delivery documents all present. There is also a shop service manual, and wiring diagram. The truck looks, feels and runs great. Our restored cars are garage kept and rigorously maintained. This has had regular all season use in the past year amounting to about 4000 miles since restored. Just last week it's been prepped for winter with full service, Bridgestone W965 Blizzak light commercial truck, 10 ply studless ice & snow tires, and a 2x6 brace across the bed at the wheel wells that keeps the 300 lbs of sand over the rear axle and makes nice compartments to prevent things sliding around the bed. The Alpine cd - Bluetooth - iphone / smartphone - satellite - HD stereo, and speakers are mounted on custom brackets which use existing fasteners so no holes were drilled for this installation. Original AM radio also works. As right & ready as the truck is, it doesn't accommodate a child seat too well (and not at all legally), can be a lot to handle in the city, and the boys mother is fed up with me using her car too much. I need to make a change. Open to similar quality trade - up, down or sideways value. Of course a cash sale is welcome too.
