1949 Ford 2dr Custom chopped 4" front 6" rear, shaved, frenched headlights, blue dot tail lights, lowered 3", pinstriped on hood, trunk, sail panels and above the headlights and tape striping to cut scallop lines, uses original diff I believe to be a 4:23 because it used to be a 6 cylinder with overdrive. The engine is a SBC 350 with 2 barrel carb, point ignition, trans is a 350 turbo hydro. It still has drum brakes all around and its original steering geometry but has a drop link and idler to accept the small block, it could use a little work because it like to wonder abit. The left front wheel cylinder leaks so fluid needs to be filled every week it driven continually. There is power window lifts installed in the doors but not connected and needs glass to be bought and installed as with the door vents, I have the rear quarter glass which is tinted and needs installed. Interior has original seats then are covered but need to be recovered if you want to keep them. Car runs and drives great and does get plenty of looks and thumbs up when it is driven to shows. It has factory smooth skirts, with old bias plies, front caps are caddy with bullets, and rear caps are dodge. I have a set of 70" lake pipe also that has not been installed yet. As you see the car in the pics this is how I bought it several years ago but with out the painted pinstriping. Price is 9750 but may consider 9250 cash and trade but needs to total my asking price. this is a cash only.

Car may have 224k miles but has been serviced regularly from the past 2 owners and have all of the paper work to verify. Everything works well as does the A/C and heat, it has heated seats in front, heated steering wheel, dual zone heating and cooling, 6cd player in trunk and cassette player in dash all factory with steering wheel control for the cruise and radio controls. There are no dead pixels for the dash or radio or heater. Tires are in good condition, there is the usual stone chips on front of hood and small paint bubble at the lower back corner of drivers door and above the right rear tail light but no rust. The purchase price is $2900 and is cash only and will not ship so you must pickup yourself and drive it home, I am not a dealer so there is no warranty and is sold as is as seen.
