I've got a 1998 Audi A4 1.8T B5 Body Style Manual Transmission. The battery is currently dead as it has been sitting for quite some time, but last I remember had around 180,000 miles.Pros:- Full Stage 1 upgrade.- Brand new coil packs.- Brand new timing belt, water pump, coolant flange, spark plugs, serpentine belt, fuel injectors.- Interior is in fantastic condition apart from the usual driver's seat split in the center. - Heated seats work amazing.- Paint is basically flawless.- JHM Short-Shift kit.- Has been very well maintained and has not been abused.- 2 sets of wheels and tires. One all-season and one for winter. The winter tires have probably 2 more seasons in them and the all-seasons have one-two more seasons.Cons:- Has been sitting for close to a year as I was debating/figuring out what I wanted to do.- Very minor hail damage from the recent storm a couple months ago. - Ran great before it sat because of check engine light. Symptoms:- Misfire on Cylinder 2. Had a semi-rough idle, but under load would run great. Feels as if it may have some sort of short and SCR Performance in Loveland Colorado said it may be a wiring harness issue. If you are a mechanic have somewhere to store it while working on it you would have a great car. I would rather not sell and wait until spring to work on it, but I do not have room/anywhere to store it.- My attempts to solve it were as follows; Fuel injectors, coil packs, spark plugs, MAF sensor, and ICM delete. Like I said, the car has been babied and has been well taken care of. I got it to start fine once I jumped in about 3 months ago, but recently the battery seems quite low. The battery is under warranty though. Has NEVER been in an accident and I have plenty of extra parts and bits.

This is a 1985 Subaru DL, the only car that we have ever purchased new from a dealership, one owner car. We used it for my wife's work car, about 50 miles round trip for about 8 years and also for long trips, vacation and otherwise. Just used it for trips after that, used an old beater for close in driving until about 1995. After that we didn't use it much and for the last 15 years it has been in storage. I did start it and drive it around the yard to keep seals from drying up on a regular bases. Car has always be in garage or shed when not in use. It does have some rust on the rear fenders but does not look like it's rusted through. The brakes are good as well as tires. I changed the oil 10w-30 and the filter. I have always changed the oil myself at about 4000 miles on a regular bases. Everything works on the car. The only problem is one of the CV joints clicks some when you turn the wheel which isn't a problem at this point but will need some attention in the future. Car comes with extra spare tire and ski rack as reflected in picture. Car has no plates on it and will need a in transit permit unless you want me to deliver it. Will pay for in transit permit and make sure it has insurance on it until delivered for $.20 a mile to be paid in cash as I hand over the title. Any questions are welcome. Adding items from time to time. Please check out my other items.

This auction is for a 1978 L82 black-on-black Corvette coupe with 80,000 actual miles. Of all the C3 Corvettes the 78 is special, as it commemorates GMs 25th year of Corvette production. The car is equipped with the original numbers matching 350 engine & rare numbers matching close ratio four speed manual transmission, 3.70:1 positraction rear end, gymkhana suspension package, tilt-telescopic steering column, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, original AM/FM stereo radio, power antenna, right & left remote sport mirrors & rear window defogger. In 2012 my son & I found this 25th anniversary gem in an old dilapidated garage where it had been stored for eight years. We got a tip that it was for sale and we were the first ones there to check it out. Well never forget the excitement to discover the L82 badges on the hood, and then peering through the dirty passengers window to spot a four speed shifter! Then we popped the hood and found that everything was still there, even all of the emissions stuff! Ever try to play it cool with an owner when youve discovered the mother lode? Somehow we managed, but we didnt stop to pinch ourselves, until the car was on the flatbed and gone! After getting the Corvette home, we washed off some of the accumulated dirt & cobwebs, and then examined it to see what we really had. Since the previous owner had owned the car since '81, then put it away when he became too ill to drive, we found that the car was fully intact & original; right down to the jack & spare tire! But because the car was all original, it also meant that everything in it was 34 years oldand like any barn find, a whole lot of parts had outlived their usefulness! So we started to renovate the Corvette with two goals in mind: making it reliable & making it beautiful! Bringing my 40+ years of classic car experience to the table, we pursued our goals for well over a year; pouring in our passion, labor, and a whole lot of money into making it happen. But the reward came when we were finished, because we ended up with one of the most gorgeous, dependable 1978 25th Anniversary Corvettes around. You can drive this classic all day, and then stop to enter it into a car showits good to go either way! But even better is the pure exhilaration thats experienced anytime youre behind the steering wheel! And with this classic Corvette, theres no shortage of Hey man, nice Vette! compliments, thumbs-up from passing cars, and its own ability to become the center of attention no matter where you are! Upgrades, Replacements & Improvements: New black exterior finish. (The car had a poor quality, ugly color paint job that had been applied over the original black. So after removing all interference body parts, we took it to a highly trusted body shop. While there, experts removed everything down to the bare fiberglass, repaired some minor cracks, and refinished the body & the removed parts back to an elegant factory black). New interior, including carpets, door panels & armrests. (With the new paint, the original interior started looking a little drab in our eyesso we opted to renew it as well). Reupholstered Pace Car seats. (GM knew what they were doing when they designed these seats for the78 Pace Car; much more comfortable & better constructed than originals. Wont hit the dash when folded forward like originals & allows far easier access to the rear storage areaway cool!) Blue M1131 mirrored glass T-Tops. (Rare & very expensive; these were in storage for well over twenty years, so theyre unbelievably nice & have new storage bags: Vette guys see these and just drool!) New door & pillar weather stripping. (We were able to find some GM new old stock replacement door seals & exact fit reproduction pillar seals. The original T-Top weather stripping is still in amazing shape, so we just left it as-is!) New ball joints, A-arm bushings, idler arm, tie rod sleeves, tie rod ends, stabilizer link kit, shocks & alignment. (To prevent any extraneous movement, we renewed all of the wear prone parts in the front suspension & steering systems. Then had everything adjusted to factory specifications during a four wheel alignment procedure). New clutch, pressure plate, release bearing & resurfaced flywheel. (Clutch is silky smooth!). Rebuilt Borg Warner Super T10 4-speed (We initially disassembled the gearbox just to investigate a bearing noise, which turned out to be a factory defect. But because we spotted some wear indications, we ended up rebuilding the entire transmission; including new shifter forks. We also verified that the stamped VIN is original to the car & confirmed it to be a close ratio M21 by the double rings machined into the input shaft). Engine evaluation & replacement parts (Although it has low mileage we pulled the engine to check rod & main bearing conditions. Everything looked good & clearances were well within tolerance. Replaced all valve seals & upgraded timing chain. Thoroughly cleaned block, pan & timing cover. Then repainted with correct GM corporate blue, and reassembled with new gaskets. We also verified that the stamped VIN is original to the car & confirmed stamped suffix code CMR is correct as well. Code denotes: L82 engine, with manual transmission & four-barrel carburetor). New motor mounts. New fuel pump, fuel hoses, fuel filter & gas tank sending unit. New water pump, radiator hoses, thermostat, heater hoses, heater valve & fan belts. Dewitts aluminum radiator. (Lighter weight & provides 30% more cooling than the original). Rebuilt master cylinder, rebuilt calipers, all new brake hoses & new brake pads. New A/C compressor, receiver / dryer, hoses, orifice tube & O-rings. (The four seasons air conditioning system was completely updated for R134a Freon; blows nice cold air!). New wiper motor, washer pump motor & wiper blades. Brand new Cooper Cobra tires & new center caps on stock 8 polished aluminum wheels. (We choose to go with 70-series tires. As confirmed by a 1978 Road & Track article in which Corvette engineers found that 70-series tires were quieter, cornered better, had better on-center feel, and simply gave the 78 Corvette a better ride than the optional 60-series tiresgreat information to apply to the restoration!). Too many other new parts to list. Air dam, door handles, badges, battery, bezels, headlight springs, switches, & much more! As mentioned before, the Corvette is equipped with all of the required 1978 emissions equipment. To keep everything functioning well, weve replaced all of the ported vacuum switches & the EGR valve. The original compact spare is in its carrier, and the jack & handle is in its storage space behind the seats. The stereo radio & power antenna both function well. The high flow exhaust system is original & very tight. Living in the west, theres no rust damage anywhere on the car. The four wheel disc brake system works superbly for smooth dependable stopping power. The L82 engine runs exceptionally well & has all of its original bolt-on components. The engine compartment is clean and complete right down the original carburetor & radio capacitor. The four-speed shifts flawlessly, and is a rare factory option. In 78 only 3,385 Corvettes were special ordered with this (L82 only) Borg Warner M21 close ratio gearbox. 4,773 came standard with the M20 wide ratio gearbox, and the vast majority left the factory with automatic transmissions. But the L-82 version Corvette with its four-speed was one of the fastest American production cars available in 1978! Road & Track magazine (April 1978) records testing results of: 0-60 in 6.5 seconds & the quarter mile in 15.2 sec @ 95 mph. Pretty respectable for a time period before computer controlled engines! Because of the accomplished restoration work, the Corvettes steering is very positive; the suspension is solid, and the car tracks straight as an arrow! Its also equipped with the optional FE7 gymkhana suspension, which includes: Spring rates 50% higher than standard, a large diameter front stabilizer bar, and a rear stabilizer bar. These attributes provide the Corvette with excellent handling & road gripping characteristics. And when you add the extra control that the four-speed supplies & the brisk acceleration of the L82 engineits nothing short of an extraordinary driving experience! In spite of installing all new horn parts in the steering column, the horn still doesnt want to work, so we suspect a grounding problem. The clock is original and doesnt run, so it needs to be repaired, or replaced. The trip odometer doesnt function properly; it acts like a lubrication issue. Does it need anything else? Not really, but if you look through any Corvette catalog youll soon find all kinds of things that catch your eye; and thats cool too, because theres always room to put more jewels in the crown! Because were hard core car guys, the process of restoring classic cars to their former glory is an enjoyable challenge & adventure. So were a lot like kids two weeks after Christmas; now that the Corvette has been finished for awhileMom, were bored, theres just nothing to do! So weve got big plans to take on a major project this time. Itll be a full frame off restoration on a 71 Chevy step side with everything better than new & lots of trick aftermarket parts. But the fact is, its really expensive to do what weve envisioned. So, the Corvette is up for auction so we can continue to do, what we like to do! Weve gone to great lengths to accurately describe this classic. So if anyone is looking for an ego stroking, fully road worthy, blast to drive 1978 25th Anniversary L82 Corvettethen youll love owning this car! Thanks for checking out our auction.
