This is a clean 1 owner truck. I bought this truck in 2003 with 29 miles on it from Simmons Rockwell in Bath. I've used this truck as a daily driver for the past 12 years. It's been a great truck. Never crashed, clean title with lien release from the bank, and the AC is nice and cold. Truck has power steering, power windows and door with remote key lock/unlock and theft deterrent. Push button 4wd, fog lights, tow haul mode, rear window defroster, bug guard, K&N air filter, XM radio, and rubber floor mats. Truck has a 4.8L V8 with approximately 214,000 miles. The number continues to go up as I keep driving it. I have meticulously maintained this truck from day 1. I have every service record for everything that has been done with the exception of windshield wiped blade replacements. I have done 90% of the work on this truck myself. Some of the major highlights of work done somewhat recently include but are not limited to, new rocker panels and cab corners, new transmission lines and tranny flush (nothing was wrong, just preventative maintenance), replaced brake and gas lines, new stainless steel muffler, cleaned throttle body and MAP sensor, 2 new Firestone Destination tires less than 10,000 miles ago, new extended cab door latches, new tailgate latches hinges and lever assembly, new rear pads and rotors, new rear diff cover and fluid, new fuel pump, and gas tank straps. This is just a list of the new stuff done recently. This was almost all preventative maintenance because I don't like to have something break at an inopportune time. Some highlights of the truck other than all the maintenance, it has a Rhino liner approx 10 years old, and has held up beautifully. Also has Sirius XM receiver that is hard wired to the radio so there is no flipping channels like on a transponder or interference from overhead lines etc. 2 of the tires are relatively new. The other 2 will be good for the summer and fall but would need to be changed by winter if you drive as much as I do. The wheels were all sand blasted buffed and clear coated last fall so there is no corrosion on the aluminum that is typical of wheels of this vintage. It also has the fender flares and molded mud flaps. There is nothing mechanically wrong with the truck that is not road worthly. It runs and drives great. Only reason I am selling is I recently was blessed with twin baby girls and the extended cab is going to be a little tight . My uncle is selling his truck that is 8 years newer and a crew cab and I am currently in the process of working on a deal with him. Otherwise I would keep it. There are a few things that need to be addressed. The tailgate needs to be replaced. All the guts, minus a rod, are good. Also needs a new trailer hitch. Rear spring shackles will be required soon. The front brakes are just starting to pulsate a little so new front rotors wouldn't hurt. There are paint chips here and there the windshield has 5 spot cracks that have all been filled for almost a year with the most recent. Very infrequently the service 4WD message comes up, but the 4WD always has worked and the message is very sporadic. The oil pressure gauge occasionally spikes well past 80, the compass and temp indication in the mirror works most of the time but will occasionally shut off for no reason. There are a couple backlit lights out on the radio and the 4wd buttons. These are all minor issues and things I would fix if I keep it for a winter vehicle. I'm more particular about things than most so many people may find these issues to be no problem. Please check out the pictures and text/call with any questions I would be happy to answer them.
