Original Signal Red (Signalrot) 2 previous owner 1989 560SL R107 Roadster. Last year of the 560SL and R107 series, also the most rare and desirable. All original body and drive train. Sold new here in Southern California where it has remained. Garage parked daily driver. I would trust this 560SL to drive anywhere right now. Original factory color with only one repaint ever and it was done professionally. No rust damage or previous body repairs. The hard top has the original paint and it is beautiful as shown. No fading or peeling/checking on any of the body or top. Very few signs of aging at all. The body is in amazing condition as shown with no dents or dings. No rust underneath and it is all original. This is a daily driver and I drove it on long trips within the last couple weeks with no issues at all. The instrument cluster all works properly. The oil pressure stays high showing high compression and the original 5.6 V8 Aluminum engine runs very smooth and quietly with a lot of power. No smoke of any kind or bad noises. The mounts and wear items have been replaced and it has been very well maintained. The 2nd owner owns a company that builds factories and he spared no expense keeping up on this 560 before I got it. It stays cool in heavy traffic and drives smoothly at all speeds. I took a few videos including a driving video, walk around video and a video showing how smooth the engine runs. I also have a video available of it driving at higher speeds on the highway. I drive it at 90 mph with one hand on the wheel and it feels like I'm going 50mph. It has recently seen speeds well over 100 so as you can see it has been trusted. Suspension is tight and so is the steering. The lights and windows work as they should as do the indicators and dash lights. Radio system works properly and it sounds great. I have the clear California title with it as shown in the photos. Comes with both original keys and original books with maintenance history since day one, as well as the data build card from Mercedes. The mileage is correct at 280k and the odometer works fine. It is a clean honest example with nothing to hide. The mileage is proof that it has been driven regularly throughout its life. Well maintained and such quality that it feels like an 80k mile Mercedes. Zero cracks on the dash. Spare tire and tool kit still in place. No mechanical issues. No check lights. I just took it out (2/23/17) and I took around 80 photos and a few videos to show it thoroughly. The only existing leak of any kind is a very small trans oil leak that only seems to drip after sitting awhile. The seat covers are worn and it has temporary covers over the originals as shown. I can get the seats redone locally here for $450. The interior still smells like a newer car it has always been well cared for. Tires were all recently replaced. Comes with the rear fender moldings and seat side chrome. Located in San Diego county, Escondido California 92025 and always garage parked as stated.
