SUPER RARE 1941 CHRYSLER HIGHLANDER 2 DOOR COUPE, WITH 99% OF THE TRIM! WITH CLEAN MICHIGAN TITLE! MAKE ME AN OFFER!! I was told to order a car from Chrysler in 1941, you had to be a Municipality or a Doctor. As a result Chrysler produced very few Windsor body style cars in 1941 and even fewer were 2 doors and even fewer than that were Highlander Luxury Broughams. It has the red marbled Bakelite dash and the blue plaid and leather seats (seats were exclusive to the Highlander). The front turn signals, that cannot be found anywhere are both in the car. As far as I know the only trim missing is part of one taillight and one hubcap. Most of the trim will have to be polished or re-chromed. But the fact that so much of it is still there is a miracle in of itself! It was a restoration project by the second owner. I am only the third owner. It is my understanding it was purchased new by a doctor in Spalding, Michigan. The previous owner rebuilt the engine, but had never started it afterwards, so I cannot attest to whether or not the engine runs. Frame and floor boards are solid. Trunk pan has a few bad spots. This car will need a full on inside out restoration. Book value in Fair condition is $7,750.00. I do not expect to get near that in this condition, but make me a reasonable offer and its yours. For its age, this car is in good shape. There are a couple scratches and dings but in overall good shape. I bought this car this past spring but decided it is not big enough for our growing family. I do not know much about this car as I have only driven it back from Findlay Dodge in Findlay, Ohio. It ran really good and it is very comfortable. I did put rear shocks on it and disabled the auto leveling. I will put front brakes on it before it leaves the yard. The new tires have not much more than 100 miles on them. It is an "AS IS" car, I do not have any warranties, guarantees or promises with a 15 year old car. It is not brand new so please do not expect perfect for the price the car is. I do not plan on shipping but if you are within a 100 mile radius, I will meet you with it. I expect complete payment at the end of the auction at time of pickup.

Since the backs were rusted through had to be made ??new. Also, the chassis has been completely aired. Then the battery frame and partially the recordings for the floor were renewed. The rear is dented by the license plate bracket on the bumper. Fortunately, holes were not, as usual shot and tried to pull out the dents. This works anyway and not demolished the sheet only stronger. It is better to separate out the tail section and professionally bulge to it then install again. The inner sills are rusted through in all MGA's after 50 years. This no longer exists. That is the standing sheet and the inner sill have to be replaced either partially or completely. Adjusting the doors and fenders with respect to the gap dimensions is a work of days. This really is a very cool car that looks fantastic . Selling to fund another classic.
