1928 Model A Ford Four Door Leather Back. Build date is the first day four doors were made, June 1, 1928, which is stamped on the driver side of the fire wall. This car has many unique features. The carburetor has the double Venturi, only used for a short time on cars built in 1927 and early 1928. There is a cowl vent on the driver side. The parking brake is on the left side of the car next to the cowl vent . The generator is the 5 brush Powerhouse type. There is a rare trunk on the back of the car that is convertible into a small pickup bed. The car uses the early wheels. I have a clear title, but I kept the previous owners title which is voided. The previous owner told me he bought it from the original owner. The man I bought the car from insisted that the car be restored to original and I intend to make sure that happens. The vehicle is partly dismantled and ready to restore the wood. All body metal is only surface rusted but the wood is completely rotted. I have begun the process of restoration of the wood and nave re-manufactured most of the wooden pieces. They are ready to reinstall. I have run out of time to do the project and therefore want to sell it to someone who will complete the project of restoration.

IT HAS A SALVAGE TITLE AND IS NOT STREET LEGAL IN MISSOURI,AND PROBABLY NOT IN YOUR STATE UNLESS YOU MAKE A FEW MODIFICATIONS IT WAS USED BY UNITED ARTIST TO PROMOTE SEVERAL MOVIES, HERE AND ABROAD (COUNTERFORCE,REDEGADE FORCE, ET AL) WE HAVE BEEN USING IT IN PARADES VERY POPULAR IN VETRANS DAY PARADES IT FEATURES AN AIR CANNON IN THE REAR THAT FIRES PING PONG BALLS INTO THE CROWDS. IT HAS A GENERATOR AND AIRCOMPRESSOR TO DO THIS AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES. THERE IS ALSO A LOT OF ELECTRICAL GADGETS ,NIGHT VISION CAMERAS IN AND AROUND THAT WERE SPECIAL EFFECTS ITEMS AND I HAVE NEVER TRIED TO MAKE THEM WORK. THERE WERE 3 COMPUTER MONITORS ON THE DASH THAT TURNED OUT TO BE IN OP SO THEY WERE REMOVED. THEY GO WITH THE PACKAGE BUT ARE NOW IN A BOX WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET THE PICTURES TELL IT ALL, I AM REPRESENTING IT AS IS ,WHERE IS BUYER DO YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE ABOUT WHAT IS LEGAL IN YOUR STATE FOR THE MOVIE PROP A SCREEN WAS OVER THE WINDSHIELD AND IT WAS HARD TO SEE OUT SO I DISCARDED THAT IT STARTS EASY AND RUNS GREAT WITH MUCH GUSTO I MIGHT ADD IT HAS BEEN USED VERY LITTLE AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY MILES ARE ON IT, BUT IT WAS MADE INTO A PROP THEN JUST USED TO PROMOTE THE MOVIES, AND USED IN PARADES, I DOUBT MANY MILES ARE ON IT SINCE IT SITS MOST OF THE TIME. IT IS AN ATTENTION GRABBER AND FUN TO TOOL AROUND IN SHOOTING PING PONG BALLS IT IS A CAR AND HAS A TITLE BUT I CONSIDER IT A TOY, THIS WILL BE SOME REALLY CHEAP FUN, I COULD PART IT OUT AND MAKE MORE MONEY THE V6 HONDA MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION IS BRINGING 4500 AT THE SALVAGE YARD AND IT HAS 4000 IN TIRES AND WHEELS BUT I JUST WANT IT IN A NEW HOME, IT IS TOO MUCH FUN THIS WAY, SO YOU GET A BARGAIN SELLING AT $1500 OR BEST OFFER FOR ADDED PHOTOS OR INFO AVAILABLE AT [email protected] As far as working condition, ?this has just been a parade car and parked to attract attention. the cannon shoots ping pong balls with compressed air supplied by the onboard air compressor and 650 watt generator. all of these doo dads will work but I am not representing them to be working now?. all of the pieces and parts are there but haven't been used for a while. You get what you see, working or not.Now about the driving part of this car, no issues it starts easy and runs very well, the brakes work, my experience with it has been on 50 miles or less driving each time, just back and forth to parades. The oil is clean and I have never had to add any between oil changes, the transmission shifts fine and the v6 goes so fast it scares me. It is full of fresh anti freeze, It is well behaved at hiway speeds and if you can get a one way trip permit from where you live I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere. Just be aware that is was a movie prop and they only made it look good on camera, a few things have been modified like the dash and door windows. but it can be driven with confidence and ease.a WINDSHIELD IS $150 ON EBAY , And I priced dark Lexan side windows at $300 for all except the windshield, buy it drive it home
