Miles Per Gallon: 23 City & 29 Highway The car is in AMAZING working condition both physically and mechanically. This is an non-smoker adult owned and well maintained SUV. Very low miles being a daily in town driver at just 39,981 miles (this is a daily driver so the milage will change). This car is clean and runs great. The 4 cylinder engine is a real gas saver. The 4x4 works awesome for Michigan winters. I have customized the outside by using black on the badges and grill of the car and smoked out the tail lights. This is just a rubberized material that can easily come off if you would rather show the chrome finish. The same for the interior I have accented some areas in white. If you're not a fan of it just pull it off and there is the natural black underneath. The last image shows the car without the black. 1967 MERCURY COMET CALIENTE CONVERTIBLE. 428 Tri power , automatic, glass back window, nice top (dirty) with 1 very small puncture. Carbs were just rebuilt and new fuel log. Motor was supposed to have been rebuilt recently, starts as easy as looking at the key and sounds great with dual exhaust and new flowmasters. Auto trans shifts good,shift linkage needs just a little bit of adjustment at the column. All brand new lock cylinders, ignition and keys. Brake booster acts like it's bad as the brakes have the manual feel to them.The body and floor pans are very solid, door bottoms, trunk lips all are swell free. The paint is terrible and will need stripping,(looks like old laquer) and the fiberglass hood will need a few little repairs. All in all the car is sweet and won't need a lot of major restoration. Runs and drives ok around the sub but haven't taken it out on the highway. Now the not so good stuff. The car was born a small block car , the drivetrain in it has been there for a long time and looks original. The front core support had been replaced (long time ago) and had the wrong vin on it and the person I bought it from hacked it to remove the ids.I do have a California rust free replacement and the correct vin section and door tag for the car.I will sell the car with a bill of sale for anyone in the states that don't need a title or can provide a title if you need it. This car should be moved via trailer as the tires are old and dry rotted. Ol' Richard Rawlings would make the car a rocket. Bid to buy, thanks.

************ Great project car for someone that wants to build their own Mustang Fastback *************Start with the very solid 1968 Coupe and add the fastback roof assembly and you will have a nice car with a fraction of what all the "Eleanor" crowd are spending.Included in the package is the fastback roof,backglass,doors with glass(rusty but complete),new trunklid,interior 1/4 trim,upper part of the rear folding seat,and misc brackets that were trimmed from the car.The coupe is pretty solid car with great rails,front and rear, solid floors,good glass,,ran great off a gas can,(sat for several years so I didn't want to suck up bad gas) 4 bbl carb, auto trans,power steering,has terrible interior as the pictures show.Will need some front sheet metal, was pushed around with a snowplow,fenders can be saved,1/4's and doors are nice. Bad brake line so the brakes don't work now. This is a PROJECT that will have to be towed, the roof and parts will fit in the back of a pickup,the car can go on a trailer.
