This Van has Chevy's 1 Ton truck chassis as its base with an extended wheel base for stability (no sudden tips or spins like the Fords) and capacity for 15 occupants. The interior has front and rear Heat and AC with ducts in the floor and ceiling. All the seats are gray vinyl for easy cleaning with the floor being a one piece black rubber mat. The van is basic in that it has crank windows, no cruise control or other electronics. I looked long and hard before purchasing this van in 2006 as I wanted something that my family of 9 could take on family trips to the grandparents in River Falls Wisconsin and summer trips to Grand Marais Mn. I purposely wanted minimal electronics and easy vinyl and rubber floors for clean up with 7 children coming and going. This van's V8 5.7 liter engine and 1 ton chassis has served our family well. Alas two have left the nest and more are leaving soon so it is time to downsize to the mini van. It has some minor exterior chips an dings and the passenger side door is dented in slightly after a deer ran into the side of the van last thanksgiving. The tires are in good to very good condition and are the heavy duty truck tires. About the only thing I have had to do to this van is replace the gas tank/fuel pump several years ago. The tank holds 31 gal of fuel and she gets about 15 mpg. I had window tinting professionally installed when I purchased the van. I also installed the the custom hitch. We pulled an aluminum trailer on vacation and to the grandparents at Christmas time. I never pulled anything big although I have no doubt this van could do it. We did make one trip to Montana and one to South Dakota wit the van, otherwise she stayed between here and the Twin Cities most of the time. If you have any questions just let me know.
