This is a 2003 Toyota Matrix XR AWD auto transmission with 178,500 miles. The Body: No rust, but some small scratches and dents on the passenger side. This is cosmetic and was there when I purchased the vehicle a year ago from Motorcars Toyota. The headlights are also foggy (but function fine). Front bumper pops out slightly on the drivers side. Tires have good tread. Fog lights also work perfectly.The Mechanics: Mechanically the car is in near-perfect shape. No problems with the engine and transmission. I've had regular oil changes done. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly. I had a new tailpipe/muffler DEALER INSTALLED this past March (cost over $1000). Newer brakes from the winter, also new c02 sensor. A/C works great. No leaks. Interior: The power sunroof leaks slightly in car washes. I haven't noticed it during rain. Seats are in great shape. All the electronics work perfectly. The plate holding the power window switches on the drivers door is loose. There's also a small plastic panel missing from the interior rear door. There's tons of cargo room (similar to a Volvo 240). You sit very upright in this car so it's very comfortable to travel in and drive. A really fun car!This Matrix is absolutely built for the Cleveland snow. The AWD is on par with a Subaru. I wasn't stuck a single time this past winter.

Transmission is top of the line ATI power glide with 180 straight cut gears in a supercase with ATI 3500 stall converter, trans brake and line lock. GM 12 bolt rear end with a spool and 35 spline moser axles, 4.88 Richmond gears, adjustable coil overs with four link ladder bar, all top of the line parts. Complete MSD 7 ignition system mounted behind glove box with crank trigger timing set up. Weld aluminum wheels with new Mickey Thompson street drag radials on rear along with a new set of front runners. Aerospace drilled and slotted front rotors and calipers up front as well. This car has always been indoors past 36 years and is rock solid from top to bottom, only driven to local car shows past 3 years.
