Here we have a 1970 Lincoln Mark III Project car. I purchased this car in 2011 from the second owner who needed some help and was supposed to buy it back. That never happened, so here is the car. The car's body work was completed in 2011 with panels patched, doors, trunk and hood aligned and freshly painted the correct color. A new vinyl top was then installed and new exhaust. The second owner ran out of funds to finish and had other issues. Since my acquisition, I have added 4 new whitewall tires, a new Holley carb, had the wheels sand blasted and powder coated the correct color of black, purchased new carpet and other trim parts that will go with the car. The car has been stored indoors for almost four years. The car needs to be finished, with the following needs:Interior: is dirty and will need to be finished cleaning and install new carpet. (The new carpet is not a shag, but the original carpet is in the car and could be steam cleaned and reused if the purchaser wanted.) Most interior trim pieces are included, though some may be missing from the paint and body work that was done, as the interior was removed and the floor repainted body color. A new headliner will need to be acquired. The dash is dirty, and will need to be cleaned, but there are no rips that I can see in the dash top.Engine Compartment: The engine is all there and I drove the car yesterday. The engine is good and strong. The transmission shifts well, but leaks some fluid when parked, so I am guessing seals will be needed. The brakes and power steering units all work as they should. The air conditioning has not been tested, but the unit is there and complete. The exhaust is relatively new and has a nice, throaty sound when running the car. The radiator is in good shape with adequate cooling and no leaks. Wipers are no installed, so no test could be completed.Undercarriage: When the previous owner did the body, he neglected to detail the suspension or under frame, so there is surface rust that will need to be addressed. The gas tank holds gas, but the gauge in the car is off, so the sending unit float will probably need to be replaced. The bumpers are in good condition with minor surface rust on the mounts and some light scuffs that could be polished out on the chrome. The lights seem to work okay. The car is located in Northern Virginia. Please contact me with any questions you might have. Thanks for looking.

Please call before you attempt to purchase my VW BEETLE because I am selling the car locally in Virginia and I do NOT want to have a $60.00 EBAY MOTORS fee charged to my seller account-If I sell my VW through other means other then Ebay Motors, like Craigslist, or the current for sale sign on VW in my driveway.*I reserve the right to stop the listing at any time. The 1st $1560.00 cash in hand gets my Beetle.*I would be glad to give you my physical address if you live in my area and want to come and see the car first. *My cell phone number is 571-379-0744(My name is Charles)and please leave a message if I am unavailable and I will call you back.*Please DO NOT CALL ME and attempt to ask me if I want to do a "Trade in". I am not interested in a "Trade In" Cash Only -Thanks *I have this listed locally in Virginia. *I will be pulling the listing immediately if I sell the VW-so I don't want to pay a $60.00 fee to EBAY MOTORS-if I sell it locally!*I live in the Linden,Virginia area,or you can send me a message if you want to come out and see the car. *The car is being sold is! *PLEASE REFER TO THE PHOTOS OF MY CURRENT TITLE IN MY LISTING-Thank You AUTOCHECK reports about my VW Beetle reflects that back in the State of Maryland in 12/09/2002(13 Years ago) with a prior owner(not me) my VW Beetle was involved in an accident and then was fixed professional in the Commonwealth of PA(Means quite of bit of money was fixed to get it back on the road) and then had a reconstructed title issued in PA. I then bought the car in 10/19/2010 and I did not know the specifics about the accident but I have had this car for about 4 years and motor was never damaged. The Commonwealth of Virginia DMV is pretty particular of any "Title Issues" and I have never had any problem with getting the car inspected, insured and registered. As you can photo listings for the VW that I have current LEGAL-Virginia license plates, inspection(Good to 12/2014) and registration.*I have never had any issues with this very strong 2.0 Engine,so it was not damaged or compromised in the 2002 accident! When I first registered my VW back in 10/2010 with the State of Virginia DMV -I presented them with a State of PA title that had been reconstructed BUT fully legal and valid!*In the current/valid/legal Commonwealth of Virginia Certificate of Title I have in the section "Other Pertinent Data"-it has : OS PA Brand which is the only mention of the PA title. *I have 100% feedback and I have my item listed locally for sale in Virginia FOR ALL INTERESTED PARTIES: *I have had in my possession for over 4 years since I have owned this vehicle a title from the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Motor Vehicle that references the rebuilt VW just about 10 years ago in PA*On the legal Commonwealth of Virginia title it states: Under Other pertinent data it states: OS PA Brand.*I did NOT have any problem with what was a PA title registering and tagging my VW in the state of Virginia-over 4 years ago.*I bought this car at at an auction in Virginia about 4 years ago and at the time the vehicle had about 65,000 miles and the title I received at the auction was a PA title that I found out later that the Beetle has been in an accident back in 2002, and I guess the car had a rebuilt title from PA.*But I did not have any trouble getting the clear Virginia title I have in my hand, and I would be glad to send you a photo copy of it-if you purchase car from me.*The Common wealth of Virginia is pretty particular about if there are title problems and I had no issues with registering and tagging, and titling this car in the state of Virginia.*The currently has valid registration and inspection for the State of Virginia. Inspection valid until 12-2014 *I'm selling my 2000 VW Beetle that has only 112,640 miles. It is a 5 speed and gets 30MPG on the highway. *You will not find a better running 2000 VW Beetle with a 2.0 engine. *I priced the car much below the lowest Fair condition, because it will be needing tries soon even though the car is certainly driveable. I drive it regularly!*I also replaced the exhaust pipe and although the car runs strong the check engine light does come on and stay on-and that is because I have not replaced the oxygen sensors. It does not effect fuel economy.*I also had the timing belt and water pump replaced before 100,000 so unlike most other VW Beetles over 100,000-you don't want the timing belt to go out on a Beetle!*The inside of the bug I have used to haul furniture, flea market items so the inside needs a major cleaning and seat covers-Actually you would be amazed what can get in the inside of a VW Bug-I actually hauled a decent size oak dresser from Binghamton,NY to Fairfax,Va,with the front seat out of the bug and the back seats folded down. OTHER NOTES: The car is over 14 years old, and I guess dependent on what you consider the most important parts of buying a car over 10 years old are.*I believe the most important is the motor of the vehicle first and this 2.0 Motor has had nothing but Mobil 1 full synthetic in it, and it does burn or leak oil.*I put a new Interstate battery in towards the end of last year.*If I would be keeping the bug for myself I would be replacing the radiator because this winter I damaged the front spoiler but it has never overheated on me.*I hope it is ok that I am kinda putting my thoughts down as I am hesitating with listing this VW because it has been a very, very reliable vehicle for me, and if it was not for me driving my Dodge Cummins Diesel 6 speed, and also the need to have to invest more money in a home I have recently bought-I would not sell, and "many of my friends have told me"-that I should not sell it. *But all that being said I wanted to be upfront with all of the many strong points of the car but because of listing the selling price well below even the FAIR Kelly Blue book which this car is higher then that because of the strong motor,5speed, and well maintained 112,600 miles. ***Feel free to ask me any additional questions or if you send me a question and then want to talk to me on a phone,I would then be glad to give you my cell phone number. ***I live about 1 hour west of Wash DC off I66 in beautiful Linden,Va which is near Front Royal and south of Winchester,Va if you want to come and check out the VW before you bid. Please just send me an message and I'll give you my cell phone number-Thanks *Kelly Blue Book with 113,000 miles and selling to Private individuals values it at $2276.00 in FAIR CONDITION-and this VW has a very strong engine! *This car is in better condition then Fair! *Kelly Blue Book with 113,000 miles and selling to Private individuals values it at $2676.00 in GOOD CONDITION-and this VW has a very strong engine! *The following 24 pictures of my VW were taken today 8-21-2014!
