DO NOT BE AFRAID TO OFFER AN AMOUNT! I WILL BE TAKING OFFERS UNTIL MARCH 1st! I will take offers and think them over! If I do not accept your offer right away I might contact you later and accept. If someone pays the BUY IT NOW it is theirs! I realize the price is set high but I don't just want to give this car away after all the work I put into it. It is not flawless by any means and could use some more work on this car. It is not easy to obtain such a car. This car in my opinion needs a good paint job and there is some dents and dings that need to come out. I would even suggest putting a bigger motor in it even though this motor works perfectly well. Under the hood looks like a somewhat new car. It is crazy the shape this car is in for how old it is. So with all of that in mind feel free to send offers. On March 1st if I don't have a BUY IT NOW I will contact the highest offer I received. DONT BE AFRAID TO MAKE AN OFFER I WILL CONSIDER ANYTHING ... STARTING AT $20,000. This is it! You don't find many of these on the road today! This is a 1982 Pontiac Firebird S/E model that I spent two solid years redone as Kitt from Knight Rider. It is a little hard to let him go. He is not very happy about it but it was a project that I wanted to see if I was capable of doing. I don't consider myself a mechanic but I do consider myself good with electrical work. So I decided to embark on this project since I have a love affair with this television show. So I bought this car on EBAY. I spent two years doing this at home. This car is not a perfect replica by no means but it is a nice one. If you check out all the photos you will see that it still looks pretty amazing. It isn't like you can just go to the store and go home and build this. Most of the materials and items in this car were bought on here and elsewhere from Italy and Canada. There must be over 200 wires that connect this and that together. I have rocker switches that can turn on everything from the little tv sets to dimming the lights in the dash. This car has a Nintendo System with Knight Rider the video game. With a flip of the switch the tv comes on and the game Knight Rider plays. The car looks and feels like a space ship and driving it is very fun. I spent a little too much time with wiring. Quick Disconnects on almost everything. Under the fiberglass dash is the original gauges which still work. The odometer and all. The digital dash has real working components such as gas gauge that works and much else. The tachometer is perfect. The only problem I have found is with the speedometer. It isn't perfect. It gives you a general idea what speed your going but it still needs adjustment. It doesn't register the speed until you get around 30 mph. Every other electrical component works flawlessly. Lights, dash, center console, I have wired this car in so many ways to work. It was a job. The steering wheel is truly fun! It is so easy to drive the car with. I can imagine someone is going to ask me why I did not have the pods behind the steering wheel and it is because I wanted this car to be able to maintain an ability to use a circular steering wheel in case you needed to have one. Turbo boost button has been screwed onto dash and beeps when pressed. Has an antennae for the right side lcd tv that can pick up tv stations. The left lcd tv has nintendo. The dummy gauges that kitt on the show had scan back and forth. It is a fun car. THIS CAR WOULD BE GREAT AS A SHOW CAR! Yet it can be driven on the street. I wanted to keep the front nose of the car which is not the same on the show because of crash impact. It is urethane and is safer in case you get in an accident and the integrity of it is very nice. I couldnt see spending the extra cash for something that would be fiberglass. If you buy this car this can be your call for replacing it. I actually hand cut acrylic sheets that are about half inch thick for the panels that cover the turn signals. I made it so you could still see the lights flash through it so it would be street legal. I love the vintage rear end of the car. I couldn't black it out. If you decide to do so that is your call. I think it looks great as is. This car is just fun to drive and the kids and attention you get is crazy. Does Kitt talk?Yes through a CD PLAYER I put in the car I have pre-recorded voices from the tv show that I put on a cd and kitt's voice box reacts to his voice or any music you play in the car. I will be including the cds for you. You can also hook up an ipod or another device. I have left wired a power supply under the driver seat in case you would like to use a tablet with voice recognition for making kitt talk. I did have voice recognition and kitt would actually talk to you. The problem is ... was that kitt would hear his self and talk back to himself. It didn't work out well. Maybe you can do better? :) SO i left it simple with kitt's voice coming through the speakers with the pre recorded Kitt voices. If you can memorize what he will say you can talk back and it seems he is talking along with you. Fun with kids :) Does it have a digital odometer as well?Yes it does... it is not quite accurate but it is very close. You will see that the numbers are off to the real analog odometer that can be found under the dash. How is the Title?I bought this car 2 or 3 years ago on here and the title was clean and I have the exact same title from the gentleman I bought it from on Ebay. A car this old does not have to have a title is what I was told at the Department of Motor Vehicles. Insurance is very cheap on this car. I would suggest getting Classic Car Insurance since it is worth to a collector much more. THIS KITT REPLICA DOES NOT HAVE T TOPS? No, there is no T Tops on this car. It is hardtop. I was thankful actually because I didn't want to deal with leaking t -tops but it does take away from the replica feel I suppose but it did not matter for me. WHAT I HAVE REPLACED SINCE HAVING: BRAND NEW RADIATOR NEW AC SYSTEM including R-134 conversion NEW COMPRESSOR FOR AC NEW CONDENSER FOR AC NEW ACCUMULATOR FOR AC NEW HOSES (many) NEW SENDING UNIT IN FUEL TANK REPLACED ALL FUEL HOSES WITH HIGH GRADE FOR FUEL INJECTION IN CASE A CONVERSION EVER HAPPENED MADE NICE TRAP DOOR FOR FUEL TANK in case you needed access Replaced the rear trunk quarters upholstery MOTOR RUNS GREAT TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTH WHAT IS AMAZING ABOUT THIS CAR: A LOT! It has style! LED SCANNER ON FRONT THAT CAN BE ADJUSTED TO ALL KINDS OF PATTERNS!!! THE DASH will light up everyone who sees it!Kitt talks through his speaker behind voicebox! ALL THE COOL BUTTONS! NINTENDO NES SYSTEM WITH GAME GENIE WITH KNIGHT RIDER GAME! WORKING TV THAT PICKS UP STATIONS! ALL THE VARIOUS ROCKERS THAT OPERATE ALL THESE COOL OPERATIONS! INTERIOR IS NICE! LOOKS GREAT FOR ITS AGE! BODY STRUCTURALLY IS REALLY GOOD FOR ITS AGE! MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION WORKS GREAT!CRANKS AND RUNS GOOD THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS AND ALL THE DASH PIECES ALL COST ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!! THERE IS A LOT OF STUFF HERE.THE DIGITAL DASH INSTRUMENT GAUGES ARE ALL MADE OF STEEL!!! THINGS WRONG WITH CAR:I am a very overly honest and perfectionist type of person so here is what I find wrong: Car is in very good shape for age. It does have some dents and dings here and there so check out all the photos. There is a small dent on the hood on passenger seat side closer to the glass. There is a few dents along the driver door of the car. Also as can be seen in the photo there is some paint peeling off the rear driver side of bumper. Once again it needs a paint job. Hood was weak on one side and had to put some painted steel plates in to give more support. Exhaust leak around muffler ... corrosion at tail pipe around muffler. Needs welding job.Actually there is very to little rust on this entire car. I actually spent much time spraying the underside to prevent future corrosion.Roaring noise in the rear ... have no idea what or why but car drives fine otherwise. This car needs a paint job. It is o ...k ... but it is flat. It needs a shiny new paint job. That is about it really. Truly is a nice car for its age. Had the differential oil checked and was told it looked like this car was brand new. The mechanic couldn't believe how clean it looked. The driver seat has a torn in it. Please check out the photo that shows that as well. There is dings, scrapes, imperfections in kitt's dash as can be expected from use. SO WHY AM I SELLING?Well to be honest I don't feel that comfortable driving such a big car. I have lived my entire life driving tiny cars like VW beetles and Toyota corollas. It's big and clunky for me. That is me. I did this because in my opinion this is a beautiful car and I wanted to take on this electrical challenge. It was a HUUUGGGEEE JOB! I wouldn't do it again. I am glad and proud of it but it was a hugggeee job. LOL! I am not a mechanic. I never owned a carburetor and don't really feel comfortable driving a car with one. If it was me I would probably eventually drop a nice Corvette motor in here instead. 6 cylinder is a little slow for this size car. I can imagine someone will buy this car will upgrade the motor in it. Turn it into a BEAST OF A SHOW CAR! I would love for someone to come see me and check this car out before committing to buy. Please I can show you how everything works from the interesting buttons to general driving of this car. See before committing. It is a truly unique and beautiful car! I have videos of kitt talking and the front scanner I can send to your email address please ask if you would like to see.

2005 Jaguar XK8 Coupe Series 1 Phase 2b. This rare, lovely well preserved example is the XK8 coupe that collectors are seeking. Fabulous Platinum Silver Metallic. The best of the production run with upgraded (Phase 2) 4.2 engine and 6-speed transmission. Only the '05-'06 (Phase 2b) had the lower body ground effects, more aggressive lower front valance, larger and wider wheels and brushed aluminum dash and console bezels. Collector preferred timeless 3-gauge center dash package (this was actually a special ordered option not to get the navigation) instead of (the now troublesome) outdated early Jaguar navigation (99 percent of last-of-the-run coupes have navigation). Previously owned by a lady physician in Tampa Florida and was garaged day and night. In my ownership for the past three years it has been garaged in a climate controlled garage. Just spent $1,500 on new BFG G-Force tires, alignment and wiper arm assemblies and blades. ***Please note***....Not to be compared to the early cars with anemic engines, timing chain design failure and transmission failures. Ford and Jaguar got these cars right. No accidents and no salt exposure...always in the South. Engine bay and underbody hardware like new. Approximately only 200 '05-'06 coupes imported and please note, the '06 cars did not not have lovely wood steering wheels. For specifics and details, I can be reached on my cell 478 957 9778 This is a lovely car that appears like a two year old car. There are some very light touch-ups on the bumpers, but overall the paint is 100 percent untouched original. There are no dings or dents whatsoever. The glass is perfect. The rubber seals are perfect and supple just like new. Of all the later XK8 coupes built, this is the only one with the three gauge center dash instrument cluster that I could find in a two year aggressive search. She's the needle in the haystack. Compare this lovely XK8 coupe with it's gorgeous XKE style body lines and for a fraction of the price of and E Type coupe. Is this the most collectible XK8? You decide. This car is more than just garage art that is too expensive to drive, it is a joy to drive. The power, handling and inside comforts are top tier. The AC blows cold and the heat blows warm. No code lights and all systems are functioning. A bargain price for a car that cost over $75,000 out the door new in "05. Please look at the pics and see for yourself. This car is extra, extra clean and the Platinum Silver Metallic is beautiful...the brightest of the silvers. Car is being sold in as-is condition with no warranty either stated or implied. This is a used car with typical wear, but in above average condition. I am available for inspection. The car is located in Macon, Georgia. I can be reached at: 478 957 9778.

Up for auction is this early Alpha 1, 250 GTO conversion on a 1975 Datsun 260Z with 5-speed transmission. First time offered on national/international market. Car runs and drives well, although it has been in secure warehouse storage on and off for many years. This is the first of the GTO kits for the early Datsun 240-260-280 cars and the company got sued and ceased production. Company was sold to a number of other owner/builders through the years. The suspension has been lowered 2 inches and the car has a great stance with the wheels and tires filling up the wheel wells just right. This car has 4-wheel independent suspension and is the shorter wheelbase version, so handling is excellent. The car features a full fiberglass dashboard to replace the unsightly Datsun dash that most all of these replicas have. It has an expensive Weber triple carb conversion. The knock-on Dayton wire wheels are in very good condition and the tires are in new condition. I purchased a complete new stainless front and back window trim set along with all rubber seals for the windows and other areas and this will be included with the car. The car will need a paint job due to age and some fiberglass touch ups from minor cracking and some adhesion separation on some edges of the doors and the front cowl. This conversion is over 30 years old, so this is just something that is part of the overall paint procedure. The hood is hinged at the front and lifts from the rear with the original Datsun latching system which is much more convenient than total removal of the hood like on the lengthened wheelbase replica cars. I installed a new driver's side window regulator, so now both windows roll up and down easily. The doors have electric solenoid outside handle mechanisms for the smaller push button GTO style chrome handles (these are actually MGB rear hatch handles) instead of the wide Datsun pull lever handles (this in an upgrade to the original kit) ...and these are working well after I did some adjusting and replaced one of the solenoids. The seats are very comfortable leather Rocaro brand. All gauges are working and even the lighting in the gauges is working. The car has it's original A/C condenser and compressor still in place, but the under dash ductwork will need to be retrofitted from an A/C vendor/supplier like Vintage Air. This car is special, as it is the earliest of the 250 GTO replica conversions with the full optional fiberglass dashboard assembly and the very cool triple Weber set-up. Please note the right front Lucas glass turn signal lens has been installed since these pics were taken. Does the car have any historical provenance? Since it was the first of it's kind, it surely is similar to the Myers Manx in collectability, the earliest and regarded best of the dune buggy kits. Is the car fun to drive? Seriously? Yes. I would greatly appreciate you calling me first (478 957 9778) if you are serious to discuss any specifics. If you are an overseas buyer, I suggest the Jacksonville, Florida port and any companies that can do a door-to-door pick up and delivery. They are out there. You just have to do an Internet search on this. I can assist when the drivers show up as I have done this previously with another car with a European buyer. Thank your for your interest. The title is clear and in my name only...no other dealer re-assignments or previous owners names on the title. No sales tax, as I'm an individual selling my personal car. This car is being sold with the understanding that there is no warranty either stated or implied. She is in AS-IS condition. I can be reached at 478 957 9778 for specifics.

1966 Jaguar E Type Coupe. I purchased this XKE Coupe a couple of years ago at a British car show in Atlanta, Georgia. The previous owner had the car for over six years and it was always garaged and well maintained. This is mostly a survivor having never been restored, but always registered and driven for its 48 year life. The color is Regency Red and was re-pained once from its original British Racing Green. This is a fully matching numbers car. The engine and cylinder head are original to the car and match the original data plate. The car has approximately 99k miles as per the odometer. This may or may not be accurate, but seems reasonable. In my ownership, I have spent near to $25k on upgrades and repairs: 5-Speed Transmission: If you have never owned an E Type you would not know that the gearing is not suitable to today’s higher speeds and Interstate driving. Since the clutch was starting to slip and the original 4-speed gearbox was leaking some gear lube, I decided to retrofit the state-of-the-art Tremec 5-speed gearbox conversion. This is the “racer preferred” Medatronics conversion which included a brand new balanced driveshaft assembly, speedo cable and mounts. I had them build it with close ratio gears with .80:1 overdrive 5th so that all gears are spaced evenly which gives the best overall driving experience. The standard .63:1 has a taller overdrive which has a tendency to be too wide a gap between 4th to 5th gears and lugs the engine in urban driving conditions. This is the ultimate driving experience for the Jaguar XKE. Now, cruising on the Interstate is pleasurable. The slave cylinder is brand new as well as the hydraulic hose. This is a $5000 upgrade not including labor of which there is very much. Engine Removal: The engine and transmission must come out and go back in together. Mostly everything is removed from the engine bay and of course the big bonnet is removed. While the engine was removed, it was degreased and cleaned, a new balanced clutch and resurfaced flywheel refitted, a new water pump was installed, the distributor was cleaned, vacuum advance weights unstuck and lubed and then all adjusted, the triple SU carburetors were cleaned and adjusted, the radiator was back-flushed and new coolant was installed. The starter was upgraded to a brand new gear reduction unit and the battery was replaced with a brand new Interstate brand. All hoses and belts were replaced. New spark plugs and 8mm wires were installed. A new, high volume pusher electric fan was installed for the hot Southern climate. The original fan and shroud is still in place. The Engine: The engine is original and never rebuilt. The oil pressure is high (70 psi cold start, 60 warm). No smoke from the tailpipes other than a little on start-up which quickly dissipates. The engine runs well, but it could benefit from a valve adjustment. I had plans to remove the head eventually and have it thoroughly rebuilt with hardened valve guides and valves, so I didn’t get into adjusting the valve because it requires special shims that Jaguar specialists keep on hand for swapping about. She runs well and I have enjoyed the overall driving experience as it is. You can always spend more to make these cars better. Body and Interior: Overall, the car is a driver. The paint is old and cracking in places, but looks great from ten feet away. I had an area on the passenger side inner bonnet near the hinge that had some rust professionally repaired by a Jaguar specialist. The bonnet nylon hinge bushings were all replaced as they tend to get worn and cause alignment problems. I had the rear bumpers and over riders re-chromed and they look brand new and are original to the car rather than cheap reproductions that don’t fit. I replaced the dealer optional “dinged and dented” Amco grill surround (it did its job protecting the body) with a used surround that is perfect, no dings, and perfect chrome. The rear bumpers did not have a surround, but I located a nice one that will be included with the car. All of the glass is in good shape. No chips or scratches. Any lenses that needed replacing were replaced with genuine OEM Lucas parts that match the patina of the car. Doors and hatch open and close easily and have proper gaps. The only rust to speak of is under the battery on the driver’s side rocker panel. Overall structurally sound. There is some rust and this is the typical area that gets this because of battery corrosion over the years. I have wire brushed cleaned and keep the area clean. Remember, this is a Southern car and has not been exposed to the harsh winters of the salt belt or North East. I’m sure there is filler in the car after 48 years, this is a given, but this car has been wearing this paint job for probably 30 years or more. The interior is very presentable. The leather seat covers have been replaced and have no tears or unsightly issues. The headliner is all original and looks nice. The original wood steering wheel is still on the car which is a rarity. There are some cracks, but the finish is excellent. These are very fragile and get pulled on getting in and out, so it’s a wonder that it has survived. All gauges are working, even the gauge lighting. New leather and foam kit on arm rest. Chassis, Suspension and Wheels: The exhaust had been replaced and the muffler is brand new, so she sounds like an XKE is supposed to. The wire wheels have been upgraded to Daytons which don’t rust like the older Dunlops. I replaced two of the four spinners with new ones from Jaguar. The gas tank was removed and cleaned. In my ownership, I have not done any suspension or brake work. It appears original with typical underbody dirt that you would expect from an original 99k mile survivor car. It feels tight driving and handling is very good. The Driving Experience: The XKE coupe is one of Britain’s most beautiful cars. They look great from every angle. These cars handle and ride like you would expect from a 4-wheel independent suspension design. They have a feeling of floating rather than bouncing around like a beam style rear axle sports car. The car drives straight down the highway (no pulling left or right). The steering wheel is centered (recent alignment). The brakes will stop you well…but I must say that the 5-speed transmission conversion transforms the car. The gear change is precise and easy. The lever is bright and shiny chrome and the shift knob is a vintage dealer option Amco walnut wood knob with the Jaguar porcelain logo to match and compliment the steering wheel perfectly. This is just my personal preference, but is feels warm and inviting in your hand. You can cruise at high speeds in comfort with the overdrive. This is the way that the cars need to be in the 21 century. Overall condition is very good. I would say that she is a work in progress. She is beautiful garage art and will fulfill your desire to own a dream car at an affordable price. These cars are leaving this country in droves. I hope this one stays here as this was her first destination. As they continue to leave, the prices will continue to inflate. I will regret parting with this, there is no doubt. I cannot replace it for what I have invested and the cost to get it to this level. I hope the new owner appreciates my efforts and will be pleased and continue where I have left off. ***Car is advertised locally, so, I reserve the right to stop this auction at any time.*** No Warranty: This is an old car. It is being sold in “as is” condition. There is no warranty either stated or implied. If you want to inspect the car I can be available. For specifics please email or call me: 478 957 9778
