I bought this in 2002 through my dads RV dealership from the insurance company. It had 10,000 miles at the time. The front bumper was ripped off from a sideways hit from I would assume another car. It was on the tip of the front meaning the front was not damaged badly. The original hood is in the picture and as you can see it had no bad damage. I bought a new hood at the time and a new front bumper. The air bags were set off and back then most cars with air bags that went off were considered a total loss, because they were new at the time and expensive. I also put new air bags in it at the time. That's the story with the damage.Because of it's history does not make it a bad car or worthless. It does make it worth less than one with good history,I realize that. One with good history with these miles you will pay 20 grand plus.Or you can have the same car for thousands less. That's your choice. I need what I need for the car,no low ball offers. Price is in the ad and firm. If I can't get that I will keep on enjoying it like I have been. Selling cause I just don't need it any longer. Time for someone else to enjoy it like I have. This is a rare car being one of 1400 collectors convertibles made and only about 400 of those had this rare LT4 awesome beast of a engine. Tires are bf goodrich and put on 5000 miles ago. Car has been serviced before it was put away for the winter, Still has original brakes.I have never had any mechanical issues with this car other than a minor oil leak that was corrected and a crank sensor last summer. I have taken it on 2 long trips over the years and is a very dependable car that I would trust to go anywhere.Paint is almost perfect except for very minor stone chips very low on rockers. the car has like 800 dollars worth of new front end work done to it and has four new struts and springs and new upper strut mount for front and has all new brakes on it two new front sway bar links and has the oil change in little bit ago and the new spark and has good tires on it. one of the front left tires leak air. it comes with a extra ball joint and bearing for the front. has a new front bear in the drive side and new ball joint on the drivers. the back bearing were both change about two months. there is aftermarket radio with amp and sub wired up and working.it it has a new mass air flow sensor replace three mouths. it was a new power steering pump and belt change about month ago, the wing and hood were just repaint about two months ago. it has new gauge led light system. it is a six speed tran and it grinds a little into second gear but the other are fine. the bad about the car is that the time chain broke and i dont have the time or the money to fix it right now. and it need a new thermostat the one that is in doesn't work anymore. Car doesn't Run selling as is.

I bought last year from state of pennsylvania with 48K. Now has 60 K. I put new brakes on 5000 miles ago. Tires are all good with at least 3/4 tread.I just got back from a 3000 mile trip. Buy with confidence here. Great car and great gas mileage too for a big car. Everything works but power door locks on rear doors don't seem to work. Maybe unhooked if they were transporting kids. I don't know . There are NO lights on such as abs,check engine,air bag,Etc. Car is equipped with police package but I don't believe it was used for that. To nice of condition in and out. Fly in and drive this car anywhere in the country with no problem. This is no rust underneath or anywhere. I did not drive it in the winter.And before that it came from southern pennsylvania that does not rusty vehicles. I will be gone from july 31 to aug 3. I bought this car from the state of Pennsylvania parole dept. It does have police package but wasn't owned by a police dept. When I bought it last year it had 65k miles. It also had a bad motor from someone not tightening the oil filter tight, which I think was done on purpose to get a new car.  Anyways, I bought a motor that had 5,000 miles with paperwork to prove it which is a very nice. The car has 72k now which means the motor only has 12,000 miles. The body is nice being from PA instead of rusty NY. The car has no problems and I would drive cross country right now if needed. Starts all cold mornings no problem. If your looking for a dependable car that isn't rusty or real old that is inexpensive. You have found it. Come drive or have your mechanic look at it. This car is ready for alot more miles. If you drive it easy the fuel economy isn't bad either.
