I originally bought this van to make a trip to Canada with my dog since I was always so limited to where I could stay overnight while travelling. THIS IS A NICE CLEAN VAN MODIFIED FOR CAMPING AND TRAVELLING FOR A SINGLE PERSON (and her chihuahua). The fancy ceiling has been removed and replaced with extra insulation and a soft cover that is easy on the head and allows an extra 4" headroom. The carpet has been replaced with a low pile carpet that is easy to clean. All seats except the driver's captain seat have been removed and I built in a single bed in the rear, closet, small fold away table and cabinets for storage. There is a 410 watt power inverter installed and hooked up to a separate deep cycle battery that can power a computer or small tv but not for 2 long because when I bought a new battery they did not install it correctly and it drains the starting battery. The previous owner of this van had disconnected all the 12 volt wires past the front seat so the lights in the main part are all battery-operated lcd lights that don't use up the main battery. No sink or toilet (I use a portapotty) or water tank so it can be registered as a vehicle, not a camper or rv. This unit has a rear heater that is disconnected. The gas tank is very large - holds over 30 gal. Mileage averages 14 to 18 mpg which is very good for this powerful beast. Starts and runs perfect, engine is clean and quiet, no ticks or knocks or leaks. Does not use any oil to speak of. Automatic transmission with overdrive is smooth and responsive. Power brakes, windows, door locks, mirrors all work fine. I had a locksmith disconnect the automatic doorlock that locks all the doors as soon as you turn the key. Cruise control, wipers, all lights and flashers, tilt steering work great. Tires are 2 years old and have about 5000 highway miles on them as I only used the van for vacations. Rear brakes completely replaced in 2013. All belts and hoses were checked and replaced at the same time. Front brakes and shocks may need replacing as I was told the rear shocks are 2 different kinds. I believe I have reported accurately and completely the condition of this van. It has been a joy to vacation in but I have to sell it because of my health and financial situation. THERE ARE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES FOR USE OF THIS VAN FOR CAMPING OR USE AS A SERVICE VAN OR EVEN MODIFYING IT FOR WHEELCHAIR. WHATEVER YOU WISH TO DO, I KNOW YOU WILL ENJOY OWNING THIS VAN. PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE EMAILING ME WITH QUESTIONS. ANY QUESTIONS COVERED IN THIS DESCRIPTION WILL NOT BE ANSWERED ALSO, I have a white chihuahua that leaves white hair EVERYWHERE. I vacuumed but there is still some stray hairs and if you have a problem with dogs or dog hair, please do not bid on this vehicle. THIS IS A SMOKE FREE VEHICLE. This 1999 Nissan Sentra GXE Limited Edition was made with the full limited option package including 14" low profile tires on alloy wheels, cloth sport bucket seats, front stabilizer bar, and body colored mirrors, door handles and side moldings. The rear seat is 60/40 split that folds down for trunt access. This vehicle also came with keyless remote entry but when I bought it the salesperson said there was none, only keys and I did not know enough to question this so I do not know if the keyless remote can be obtained. I also do not know if the car has ABS braking system. Clean, comfortable 4 door sedan with economical 5 spd console easy shifting transmission. Gets anywhere from 29 mpg mostly city driving to 39 mpg highway depending on A/C use and heaviness of the foot and brake!! Engine runs clean and smooth. Does not excessively use motor oil, transmission gear oil, or antifreeze - NO LEAKING SPOTS. Good battery, tires less than 1 year old, regularly serviced. Replaced clutch in Feb 2015. Repainted after I bought it in 2010 by Maaco. They did a pretty good job of matching the original color which was special GXE color 'Ruby Pearl" which was a color only used on this model for this year. Paint has a few scratches normal for wear, one as shown in picture on driver's door that actually shows white. Rear bumper is scratched when I backed into a guide wire, also shown in pictures. No other dents, no rust, no leaking oil or antifreeze, all power locks, mirrors and front windows work ok - rear windows don't go up easily. am/fm radio has cd player. Haven't used the cd player for years so probable needs some tlc for dust etc. Cruise control works great. Warm heater, Cold A/C, and all speeds on fan work fine. Dash is perfect, no cracks or stains, upholstery has always had seat covers so no rips, or weight damage. some water stains on passenger bucket seat from rain. Floor carpeting could probably use some deep cleaning. Wipers are new and work fine. Windshield washer is iffy - works sometimes. The windshield has a few very small nicks - none that require repair. All in all the interior and exterior including engine and trunk are in good shape for year and mileage. Spare tire is regular 14" tire mounted on same rim as rest of tires. All tires low profile as originally equipped and look good. All gauges and dashlights working well. Equipped with tachometer which has a glitch that no one has been able to explain to me or fix - sometimes it reads higher than other times. like usually 70mph= 3000rpm but sometimes it reads about 4000rpm. Does not affect performance. I am confident that the lucky buyer will enjoy this car for some time and can drive it home with no problems. I believe the price I am asking for this car is very reasonable.I love the car but my age and physical condition preclude me from operating a standard transmission so I must give it up. FOR FULL PRICE OFFER I WILL HAVE THE CAR PROFESSIONALLY DETAILED AND SUPPLY A FULL TANK OF GAS.
