This auction is for a 2005 Chevy Suburban LS 1500 with a 9 passenger grey cloth interior. The SUV has approximately 206,500 miles on it. This SUV is a one owner vehicle. It was purchased new for our everyday drive car by my father's business and the title is clear now in my name - ready to be transferred to a new owner. The SUV has driver's side power seats, power windows, 4WD with Auto 4WD option, traction control system - All in working order. The AM/FM radio has a cassette player and CD. The CD is working, but I couldn't get the disc inside ejected. It has tire pressure monitoring on the tires. One of them needs replaced but I was advised by tire shop to replace when more than one needed it, as they replace all at the same time. It has a hole cut into the cloth ceiling where an aftermarket (dealer installed) DVD player used to be. It stopped working and we took it out to replace it, then never got around to it. All the connectors are there to add one. The rear lift gate lock is not functional. The lift gate opens fine, but does not lock. The 3rd brake light (above lift gate) needs replaced. The left fog light needs replaced (due a large piece of ice hitting it in on the highway one winter). The driver's side mirror is cracks, and needs replaced. The housing is fine and it adjusts fine -it's just the glass. The middle 2nd row sliding seat on passenger side no longer "slides." To get in the back, you just flip the seat portion and pull a lever to fold the back of seat down. This broke a long time ago and we found it easier to do it this way. It can be fixed by replacing some small parts in the assembly. The right rear door interior is missing a reflector, leaving a small hole. The hood release lever is missing some kind of fastener and now can be taken off when it shouldn't. The hood is functional and can be opened like normal - the knob just comes off. The drivers side dash near the front windshield is peeling (where some bug spray leaked on it and dissolved the top layer). Some of the LED dash lights are out, but nothing that is necessary to drive it. The rear air conditioning tubes are bad. We know there is a leak in the tubes. We opted to put a block-off kit rather than fix it (we weren't really driving it a lot). The compressor may or may not be functional - we have not checked it. We THINK it is only the lines though. Front air is functional and will reasonably cool the back down. The SUV was garage kept until about a year ago when we replaced it with a new car. It has been outside since then. It has normal dents and dings from everyday use. There are some scratches in the paint, but nothing too major. There is a crack one of the trim pieces that runs along the side. The driver's door has a small "buckle" and some rust where it was pulled back too far in the wind. There is not really any visible rust on the outside of the vehicle, but there is some rust along the INSIDE bottom edge of the front doors. It is not rusted through or have any holes. It has had work done on the drivers door when it was pulled back too far. This is a separate incident from the one that caused the buckle. We hit a deer once causing some cosmetic damage to the front left. I have had a couple of VERY MINOR fender benders in a parking lot causing no damage to the SUV. However it might show evidence of these (little scratch in bumper, small dent in rear bumper). Payment policy is as follows: $500 immediate deposit required at time of purchase through PayPal. The car has had some suspension work done on it. It has had ball joints in the front replaced (one twice). Dodge Chargers are known to have this issue. It has recently had the original battery and starter replaced. It has one (Matching) replacement wheel, as the original was cracked. The anti-theft device is no longer functional. The pink plastic "shift interlock latch" broke one day recently, leaving the car stuck in park. My son and father bypassed this broken item (rather than replacing it), leaving the car functional but no longer sliding over into that "locked" antitheft position. If you would like more information on this simply search "Charger stuck in park" and you will find YouTube videos of how to fix and TONS of forum entries on this. Apparently it also is a common problem. There is a warranty recall out for this. However, we contacted Dodge and the car was built in December 2006, when the warranty only extended through those built in September of 2006. I believe it is around a $400 (average) fix through a mechanic or an approximately $75 part to fix yourself. The leather on the driver seat has some cracks in it (see photo). This car has never been in a serious auto accident. It did have some body work done when our trampoline flew across the driveway in a storm and hit the passenger side (as we were driving it). The trim on the side was repainted at this time, due to some discoloration. The drivers side currently shows the same discoloration. We were told it was due to a fungus growing under the paint. The sunroof has a tiny leak that is plugged right now. After talking with our local body shop, it sounds like it needs adjusted (at least that's what he thought), but we have just never taken it in. According to mechanic, there are screws that hold it in place and it will sometimes need those screws adjusted to make it "level" again. The engine light is on, but is due to a sensor in the catalytic converter. Again, we have had a mechanic look it, but were advised to ignore it. It has something to do with the position of the catalytic converter in the car. We have owned this car from new. The title is clear/clean and ready to be transferred to new owner.
