Low Mileage Diesel Crew Cab in great condition. Gets excellent mileage, up to 25 MPG highway, up to 19 MPG towing a loaded horse trailer. Runs Very clean, runs very well. These engines are pre urea when the problems began. All the extras included in the SLT package including dual power and heated seats. Has all the controls on the steering wheel. Has available OnStar, too. Prior to offering it for sale here, I had my mechanic go thru and check it out. He thought there may be a leak from the water pump so I had him replace it, and all the hoses as preventative maintenance as well as a power steering hose. The truck has an exhaust brake as well as the aftermarket turbo gauges. Although, I don't use a 5th wheel, I do have the attachment is desired. It has been the in bed wiring harness as well as a trailer brake control. However, I've never used it as my trailer has a surge brake system. I am the 2nd owner. I have all the original owners maintenance records as well as his vehicle log from new. There have been no injector issues, but for the usual glow plug replacement. The Allison transmission was serviced at 100K miles. This NICE truck burns so clean you have no idea it is a diesel. But, the SUPER mileage is astounding.

At one of the BMW 8 series festivities I was told by one of the US BMW registry officials that Ms. Violetta is the ONLY one of her kind in the world. It is the perfect investment for a BMW collector. It was specially ordered with the Daytona Violet Exterior paint with Daytona Violet and Lotus White leather interior. Originally ordered from BMW of Palm Springs, Ca. BMW only produced approximately 1500 BMW 850 CSi's worldwide. Of those only approximately 225 where imported to North America. BUT, only one came in Daytona Violet!!! The car's history is well documented on the net... The 850CSi's modified suspension included, stiffer springs and dampers which reduced the car's ride height. The recirculating ball steering ratio was dropped 15% over the stock E31 setup. The model also sported staggered throwing star wheels. The front and rear bumpers were reshaped for improved aerodynamic performance. Four round stainless steel exhaust tips replaced the square tips found on other models. The 6-speed manual gearbox was the only transmission option. In Europe all 850CSi's came with four-wheel steering (AHK - Aktive Hinterachs-Kinematik, Active rear axle Kinematics) , Floating front brake discs, rear differential oil cooler, engine oil cooler and sports seats. It's the "Real McCoy" with a high revving motor, rear wheel drive, 4 wheel disc brakes and a rewarding 5 speed manual transmission. It is in very good condition and could very easily be brought up to show standards. Everybody who sees this car, just loves it. You’ll get lot’s of comments, questions and requests for a ride. These are legendary cars not only for their beauty but for the genius of their industrial design. The Alfa Romeo, all aluminum engine was admired and copied by many manufactures for its durability and performance. I bought this car 6 years ago in Napa, CA. I am in Paso Robles, CA. So, it has been spent it's life in the dry climates of California wine country and the condition shows it. It hasn't been flogged in LA traffic… Most of the heavy work on this car has been done by either myself (an engineer), a certified Alfa Romeo mechanic in Thousand Oaks, CA or by British Motorsports here in San Luis Obispo, CA. These cars can have a lot of hidden issues and strange configurations made by previous owners. Not this car, it is dialed-in and set to factory specifications when possible.
