Up for sale is our 1983 Mercedes Benz 380SL that we've had in the family for 29 years. This car belongs to my mother and now I'm selling it for her. Mechanically and exterior is very good (including the original hardtop) but the interior is OK. There's a few dings on the bumper from it from being stored, plus one of the over-riders is cracked. There is a broken fin on the grill, a stone chip in the fog-light and it has had some paint work done to it about 20 years ago because someone keyed the side. The guy did such a good job you'd be hard pressed to see it unless I told you. It has the up-dated chains which seems to be a really big deal with people but that was done years before at the dealership. When we took it out it last year (after it sitting in my barn for a number of years, can't remember how long truthfully, I think 8) we replaced all the soft brake lines and fuel tank line. We also flushed everything and gave it a transmission service. After it sitting for so long the a/c doesn't work but it's a convertible in NH and that's not that big of deal to us. The interior is the biggest let down on the old girl, it has a dash cap, the top has a rip with stains and the drivers seat had a furry creature make a meal out of it, where's the cat when you need it, LOL!!! Now the reason my mother wants to sell it now is that she hadn't driven it in all that time because she had her mini convertible and finds the car way to big now to maneuver around. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will get you anything I can. I have a photbucket link with a bunch more pictures showing everything and I just want you to know all about the car before you make a bid. I've looked around and the prices are all over the road on these so I put a price where I think it might be seeing it's a 2 owner, well maintained get in and drive car. Thanks for looking.

**For plenty more pictures go to NH craigslist and search 1977 Corvette L48 Frame Off Restored Father-son project. I'm the son trying to sell it, 22 years old. Over $50,000 worth of parts and labor into it over the last 20 years (the car changed hands from a family friend and his son to my dad and I two years ago and we finished the restoration) , no corners cut, restored to factory original condition. New paint job with minor chips/imperfections from assembly. Brand new wiring harness, no splices. NOM, has a GM Crate 350. About 200hp, 250 torque, just like a regular 350 corvette motor would have with no smog and dual exhaust from that era. New tires, new windshield, brand new Holley spreadbore carb bought and put on at the very end, upgraded C4 monoleaf suspension, Posi rear end, upgraded stainless quad piston brake calipers all around, stainless brake lines and cables, stainless dual exhaust, tilt telescope, new upholstery and interior (all factory original). The list goes on of course. Starts instantly with electric choke. It's a brand new car. About 2,000 miles since the restoration, shows 45000. Plenty of bugs worked out in those 2,000 miles. Everything works perfectly.I finished the restoration and don't fit. I'm busy on the weekends and it's not practical to own since I have a motorcycle for the nicer weather days and I don't want to drive it in the rain. It's for taking out as an event in itself which I think I'm too young for. Anywhere I would take it, I'd worry about it getting chips, rained on, stolen, vandalized, bottoming out, etc. It's more stressful than fun for me. I would rather have this car be driven and loved than sitting in our garage. Stored in a heated and de-humidified garage throughout the entire restoration process. Local professionals used/paid for things things like the paint, alignment, glass, etc.

RE-LISTED DO TO NON-PAYING BIDDER (again), PLEASE IF YOU BID MAKE SURE YOU CAN PAY, THANK YOU. Oh my god, I've sold this car twice and both guys were flakes. I filed cases on both of them and won and if you buy it and don't pay I will do the same. I'm going with the buy it now price just to get a honest buyer. 1977 Chevy Corvette with a 4 speed, honking "very powerful for some people who don't know the lingo) motor, and a solid back bone. I got this one on trade for a tractor because I'm not much of an American car guy. I do have to admit I do think it's kinda a hoot to go up the driveway in though. This thing has a rebuilt V8, I think it's a 5.7 ltr , mad motor. It has aluminum heads, headers, high rise manifold, Holley 4 barrel, and dual (looks like 2 ½ but didn't measure it) exhaust with flow master mufflers. I was also told the rear end was also just rebuilt , I have no way of knowing but I thought I'd pass it on but don't put any value on it. It has the rally wheels "appear to be at least 8 inch" and the backbone is good unlike most of them in the east. The only thing is when you step on the gas it's a handful to keep on the road, it just spins it's tires with out trying. The car is by no means a nice car as in a cosmetic sense ( the only rusty part is the tray under the radiator), it's showing 56k on the odometer and hasn't seen the road in 10 years but your guess is as good as mine so is officially MILAGE UNKNOWN (ebay wanted a milage so I put what the odo shows for listing purposes). If you were going to make a race car, Daytona kit car or a boogy nights remake then this is the one!! So if you want a super candidate as a restoration donor then this might be the one but I am NOT a corvette guy so please ask all the questions before you make an offer. If you live anywhere close to NH please come over and check it out before you make an offer, I want you to know exactly what you're buying. Also on NH laws, NH does not issue title's on cars this old and if you go onto their website you will see the bill of sale this will come with. I will have it notarized as required along with a previous registration for vin verification as required. Remember BILL OF SALE ONLY, I see people stressing that so I thought I would do the same. Oh, I made a photobucket album of the vette (just email for the link because ebay just informed me that they won't allow it). So just shoot me yours and I'll blast the link to you so you can see the frame is good ( not rotted to crap) and that the cosmetics are not good at all, even though it did shine up pretty good but don't expect a show piece for sure.
