1969 Dodge Charger SE, Light Turquoise, originally a 318 car with vinyl top and air conditioning, now has 440, 2500 miles on engine and transmission rebuild, odometer was set at 0 after rebuild, auto, 3000 rpm stall converter, console, buckets, super stock rear springs, sure-grip 8 3/4 rear, 3 inch exhaust, headers, 750 cfm holley, electronic ignition, after market stereo, amp and speakers, headlights work as they should, air conditioning is capped off and I do not have any of the parts. No extra parts come with the car. Bumpers are straight, driver quality, certianly would pop better if rechromed, most all trim is present that I can tell except for inner wheel well trim, trim shines good, has misc nics and scratches. You can easily pay $10-15k for a car that needs a total restoration, this car is ready to go, get in and drive it away! No tic tac toc tac tachometer/clock. Color is not original, but close, he told me it was green, pic of the inside trunk latch area is of the original color and is in my dropbox pics, no fender tag for me to decode, but may still get it as it may be in with paperwork I am awaiting when they get back form CA, clear title in hand in my name, they supposedly moved before going to CA and everything is in boxes and don't know where any paperwork/fender tag etc. is. This is a driver, this is not a rotisserie type high end restoration where it has $70k into it. And that is what a restoration shop that does high quality work and doesnt cut corners will cost you, hell shops that do halfass work will still charge $30-40k. It does appear that every inch of the car was coated with paint or POR-15(son says, looks like it to me) and every nut and bolt was addressed to inhibit any rust coming back or starting and everything was addressed if it had issues, frame is solid from front to back, so they did get into it extensively. Restoration was done in the early 2000's, history is incomplete as I got it from the son of the owner and he didn't have all the info. I have known the guy I got it from for at least a decade and known of the car, just never knew much about it as I only saw it sitting in its climate controlled shop and was rarely driven and I never saw it driven till I drove it. It drives great, has good power, runs through the gears very well, steering/suspension feels stable, well at least for what a stock 1969 mopar can, its no ferrari, lol!. Restoration is not perfect but shows well, appears to have new floor pans as they are in too nice of condition(close to if not perfect) to be original in my opinion, trunk looks to be original and just filled in, probably had surface rust/pitting and just por-15'd to assure it doesnt come back. Rear quarters have been replaced and talked to the owner at the body shop that did one side and he said he only did the passengers side, so both sides were not done at the same time. This is a car you can show and drive, that being said if you are looking for a concourse correct car or close to perfect car keep looking or be prepared to do some work to this car. I would always rather have a good looking driver than a trailer queen. I have many mopars and drive them all, I am not one to leave something sit in the shop or think of as an investment. I am not here to waste your time and I certainly dont want you wasting my time so I am going to be honest and give you full disclosure of what I know, this car is not perfect but is a great driver quality car in my opinion, but that is for you to decide so I encourage you come see the car and ask questions. If I were buying this I would get in and expect to drive it and show it for the next decade and see how it ages. I have a 1966 dodge cornet 500 convertible that was redone probably 20 years ago, wasnt perfect either and is still holding up great and I get thumbs up everywhere I go. Its all about how well you maintain your classic and store it. Some people love the color(light turquoise) and some people don't, I have a plum crazy purple coronet and a panther pink 4x4 van so I am one who likes the off color stuff, I think they are beautiful and I really love the color on this one, I would probably add the white vinyl top and the white R/T stripe if I were to keep it, I added a few pics I found on the internet to my dropbox pics in the link I added below, they are the first three pics and the last two, so those are not of my actual car, looks great and a rare combo, but I didnt want to add that stuff as the next guy may not want to go that route and then that would be wasted money. I think it would look great with some 17' magnum 500's as well, again letting the next guy figure that out. I am sure I left some things out, so just ask. Posted a vid on you tube of it running, couldnt show it driving as its winter here. I do have a vid on FB running it against my SRT10, if I get the time to get that out there I will. $31500 obofor more pics copy and paste the web address below into your browser address barhttps://www.dropbox.com/sh/s8wf9ue796k0ykt/AABaWMqWJBYLxWDYHE0whR7pa?dl=0
