This is a beautiful, all original 1976 Lincoln Continental Town Coupe in stunning condition inside and out. It is a truly an all-original car with only 6K original miles on it. This Lincoln is 41 years old but in every possible regard, it is virtually a new car. It is a true time capsule and has been pampered all its life and it shows! This Lincoln in my opinion is "One of the nicest, most original 1976 Continental Coupe's in the world". It was ordered in gorgeous Classic White with a truly amazing all original red leather interior. The car rust free and is solid as rock. It is absolutely loaded with factory options, which include factory air conditioning and power everything. I have had the privilege of selling many of these cars but have rarely come across one as nice and original as this one here. Don't forget the huge 460ci power plant, just try and find another one like this!! This car has a very nice story and explains the extremely low miles it has. The car was purchased new by a truck driver in Amarillo, TX, at Bradley Lincoln Mercury. As being a truck driver, he very rarely drove the car as he was on the road all the time driving his truck. Also, the reason for the CB radio in the car. In 1985 the gentleman got injured and could not drive anymore, so the car sat in the garage for next 31 years. He loved the car so much he would not sell it. In 2016 the gentleman passed away and the family finally sold the car. So this is basically a one owner car its entire life. WHAT A COOL CRUISER! GO IN TRUE STYLE! This is a 1973 Lincoln Continental Town Car that is in very good condition. At time of listing the odometer reads 48,900. I do not know if this is actual/original mileage. It could very well be based on the excellent condition of the vehicle. I have owned the car for a little over three years and have only put approximately 1,000 miles on it. It has been pampered. There is hardly any ware on the leather seats. The shag carpeting and headliner look new. The paint is very good overall and the chrome is excellent. I believe it is fully loaded with every option including power windows, power mirrors, multi- adjustable power front seat, power antenna, power trunk release (inside glove box) air conditioning, power steering and power brakes (discs in front). The 460 V8 starts and runs like a champ. A few recent improvements include the following: two new front tires (less than 100 miles on them) AC converted and charged with R130, new muffler, new master cylinder, electronic ignition and new fuel filters. The car runs and drives very nicely!

Car was stored in desert for 8 years when bought from original owners widow. Replaced everything destroyed by heat and sun, including complete A/C system, all belts and hoses, shocks, brakes, soft top, head liner, stereo and speakers (new modern radio with CD and back up camera), installed gauges to get rid of idiot lights, new tires, new plugs and plug wires, and more. Have records for many other items. Engine was freshly replaced or rebuilt, don't know which, but has less than 5K on it according to son of original owner. Runs and drives like a new car, really comfortable and a pleasure to drive. Has factory full cover in massive trunk. As noted, needs paint on upper 2/3 of car. (see photos) Seats are good, but velour shows wear. Tags good till July 2016. Vehicle passes smog better than new (required now) with only a small adjustment of the air/fuel to lean it out. Easy fix, just put it back after smog. Car was never designed to run so lean (I never said that)

This is an absolutely beautiful rare example of a 1972 Continental with the TOWN CAR package. This car is an authentic vehicle that has been cared for since it rolled off the lot. The interior is in excellent shape -and so is the paint. It appears to be original with some spot touch ups over its history. This car has been part of an extensive private Lincoln collection and is now offered at a very reasonable price. This car is in excellent mechanical condition and can be driven anywhere. Overall age, paint fading top worn, etc. The brakes are good, newer exhaust, the belt is gone for the A/C and the smog pump. I do not know if the A/C is good, assume it is not. The fuel gauge not working. I have no idea why. Tires look old. Low miles. Runs good. Drove it recently but it rarely gets driven. A lot of life left in it. Serves it's purpose as a backup car but I do not need it now. I need a truck and need to make room. Cheap, comfortable, dependable, and safe transportation. Could be a daily driver as is, but the tires should be replaced in my opinion.

This is your chance to own a well preserved 78 Town Car. It is the last series of the long wheelbase (127") and lengthy (233") luxury cars of the seventies decade. This particular car comes in Cinnamon Gold with matching full length vinyl top. The interior is Chamois Media Velour Cloth. Among other things standard with this town car are the twin six-way power bucket seats and distinctive body side molding. Hideaway headlamps and cornering lamps are also standard. In addition, this particular car also has tilt wheel, cruise control and AM-FM with factory 8-Track tape player (working). All of the windows including the vents work properly. The remote deck lid release works properly. These automobiles have an incredibly smooth and quiet ride because of their long wheelbase and sound deadening material installed when new. The power brakes were ahead of their time with the front disks and hydraboost (which used the power steering system hydraulics instead of vacuum for the power assist). It stops straight and true. The body panels on the car are straight and show no rust. All of the body gaps are correct with the fit of the trunk, hood and doors just as they left the factory. The paint appears to be all original and has a glossy appearance. The vinyl top is in very good condition with no cracks or rot. The chrome bumpers have absolutely no rust. All of the stainless is straight and clean. The wheel covers are very nice with no corrosion. The interior is very nice. The dash appears new which is indicative of a garaged car. The carpets and door panels are very nice. The trunk has full carpeting with spare tire curtain. The front and rear bumper extensions are in good shape. The windshield and other glass are perfect. This is a good looking car. It sets up straight on all four corners and you would be proud to drive it to shows, cruise nights or as an everyday driver. The engine, transmission and rear end on these cars are overbuilt and just about bulletproof. Problem areas: The clock does not work. The heat and AC functions all work as designed except that the AC is low on refrigerant. The AC gets cool but not cold, so will need R12 added or will need to be changed over to R134. There are rust bubbles under the vinyl top on the right front pillar. (Shown in one of the photos.) There are minor door dings on the side of the car and some pitting on the front paint from highway use. I am listing this car for a friend who does not use the internet. I HAVE OWNED MY TOWNCAR FOR ABOUT 12 YEARS. I BOUGHT IT FROM AN OLD LADY WHO WAS MOVING TO FLORIDA AND ACTUALLY MY CO-WORKERS AUNT. SHE BOUGHT IT WHEN IT WAS ABOUT 2 YEARS OLD FROM SOMEONE IN LONG ISLAND. I HAVE ALL THE PAPER WORK AND EVEN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE RECEIPT.I'VE TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF IT SINCE I HAVE IT. ALWAYS USED SYNTHETIC 10W30 AND QUALITY FILTERS. THE ENGINE RUNS AS SMOOTH AS IT SHOULD. THE TRANSMISSION IS PERFECT AS WELL. IT WAS REPLACED ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO WITH A WELL REBUILT ONE. THE ISSUE WITH THE ORIGINAL ONE WAS THE IT HAD AN INTERNAL CRACK IN THE CASE SO THE INTERNAL PRESSURE WAS LOW CAUSING IT TO SLIP ON HIGH TORQUE DEMAND. SO THIS ONE RUNS PERFECT.SO HERE ARE THE NEWEST PARTS LIST:JUST REPLACED THE BATTERY WITH TOP OF THE LINE AUTO ZONE ONE.RADIATOR REPLACED WITHIN THE LAST 2 YEARS - COOLS VERY WELL.THE FAN CLUTCH ALSO REPLACED ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO WITH A HEAVY DUTY ONE.WITHIN APROX. 5K MILES ALL BRAKES WERE REPLACED.OIL WAS JUST CHANGED INCLUDING A PCV FILTER.JUST HAD A NEW YORK INSPECTION SO IT'S GOOD FOR ANOTHER YEAR.SPARK PLUGS WERE REPLACED WITH BOSCH PLATINUM ABOUT 10K MILES AGO.I HAVE INSTALLED A NICE TRANSMISSION COOLER.THE A/C WORKS WELL BUT NEEDS TO BE CHARGED AS I HAVE TO ADD ABOUT 1 LB OF 134A EVERY 2 YEARS, A VERY SMALL LEAK.THE STARTER AND ALTERNATOR WERE REPLACED WITH LIFETIME WARRANTY ONES FROM AUTO ZONE WITHIN THE LAST 2 YEARS APPROXIMATELY.REAR TIRES ARE VERY NICE, BUT FRONTS ARE GETTING OLDER THEY HAVE ABOUT 10K LEFT ON THEM.THE CAR TRACKS STRAIGHT AHEAD AND THERE ARE NO SHAKES OR SHIMMIES AT ANY SPEED.THE KEYLESS ENTRY WORKS AS WELL AS THE AUTO HEADLIGHTS AND THE AUTO HIGH BEAMS WORK TOO.CRUISE CONTROL AND RADIO CASSETTE WORK TOO.THIS CAR IS VIRTUALLY RUST FREE ESPECIALLY ON THE UNDERCARRIAGE AND THE WHEEL WELLS.I CAN'T REMEMBER ALL THE DETAILS WHICH I WOULD HAVE WANTED TO TALK ABOUT SO PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO AS ME ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE.
