Here's one you don't see every day: 1977 Lincoln Versailles. Rare early production (1st year) so it has the 351ci instead of the 302ci. This is also the only Versailles I've ever seen with a console & floor shifter setup. This model has all the bells and whistles: AC (working!), Cruise Control, Cartier Clock (working!), Aluminum Wheels, Power Windows, Power Antenna (not working but I have NOS replacement), Power Leather Bucket Seats that also fully recline, 8 track Quadraphonic Tape Player (also works, and I have about 15 8-tracks to go with that). The big attraction to these cars back in the 80's and 90's was the Ford 9" disc brake setup, that was basically a bolt-in for 60's Mustangs. As such, many Versailles were scrapped and the rear taken. So now, there aren't many left, and I'll be willing to bet this is the nicest one you are going to see. Pictures speak for themselves. All buttons, switches, and options work as they should (even the power trunk release, another rare option). The passenger side front window has fallen off it's track, I will try to get that fixed before car is sold. New tires. The car fires right up even on these cold days. It's only got 60k miles. The interior is simply amazing....the leather is perfect, there aren't even any seams or creases in the leather. The one downside is the vinyl roof, it has become a bit discolored and has a few small rips toward the rear. There are also a couple chips here and there in the paint but it shines up nice. It's not a Barrett-Jackson car but it is a nice car that you can get in and drive (I've had it on multiple 2+ hour trips recently without issues and gets surprisingly decent gas mileage for it's size). I've done a little work getting this up to snuff. Have lots of documentation with the car as well, it was very well kept and very well taken care of. Any questions, please ask. In the last couple of years the carb was rebuilt, new rear air shockers were installed, front bushings and brakes were done.

Lincoln used the 351 in the Versailles in 1977 only, and then used 302s for the remaining years of production. The good: The car runs, shifts and drives as it should. Original alloy wheels and center caps. Recent tune up and oil change. Rebuilt carb. New exhaust from the Y pipe back. New starter. Both driver and passenger front window motor gears replaced, and the windows go up and down as they should. New thermostat, housing and upper radiator hose. New rear shocks. All lights work as they should including the opera lights and lighted door locks. Power seat and door locks work. Cruise control works but only shuts off with the brake pedal. Tilt steering works. The clock keeps time. Original style inflatable spare and inflator can, but I have no idea if they actually work. The not so good: There are scratches, nicks, dings, dents and rust, but nothing major. The clear coat is peeling. Chip in windshield. A/C doesn't work, but all components are there. Radio / 8-track player doesn't work. The heater only works in defrost, vent, or hi/lo positions. It does not blow out when set on heat. Tires are old and weather cracked. Three match one is an off size. The cruise control off button does not work. The rear windows do not roll up or down. The motors work, but the gears need replaced. The kits are less than $20 at Advance Auto. Overall the car is very solid with no rust through found anywhere. The interior is decent, and the headliner has no sags in it. This would be an easy restoration or just drive it as is. Take it out to your local cruise nights or car shows and have fun. When I drive the car around, it turns heads. Three match one is an off size. The cruise control off button does not work. The rear windows do not roll up or down. The motors work, but the gears need replaced. The kits are less than $20 at Advance Auto. Overall the car is very solid with no rust through found anywhere. The interior is decent, and the headliner has no sags in it. This would be an easy restoration or just drive it as is. Take it out to your local cruise nights or car shows and have fun. When I drive the car around, it turns heads. Most people probably haven't even seen one before.
