Rare, Clean and Low MIles. 1967 Mercury Colony Park Wagon for Sale. Car has 410 V8 4 barrel Carb, Auto, P/S, PB, Factory Air Conditioning, Factory AM/FM Radio, full black vinyl top with luggage rack and a Rear Power Tailgate window. This Fine example has only 30,000 miles (Actual and original) and it shows. The car sat in a dry garage since 1984. After the car was retrieved from storage: it has been repainted original color, new correct woodgrain installed, new front brake calipers and pads installed original 4 barrel carb rebuilt gas tank dropped and cleaned new tires new exhaust (Single) all moldings polished new motor mounts The re freshening started with a low mileage rust free car outside and underneath. The vinyl top is factory and original and in excellent shape. The chrome is in excellent shape. The interior (Dash, seats, door panels, carpet and headliner) is original and in unbelievably excellent shape. The car is a nine passenger with the 2 facing seats in the cargo area. This Colony Park has the 2 way tailgate. The cargo area is exceptionally clean with 2 very small tears in the side cargo walls. The cargo deck and inside tailgate has the original paint and is virtually dent and scratch free. The hubcaps are original Mercury spinners and in excellent shape. The car also comes with period SEARS, Bias Ply non radial whitewall tires that appear to have been new. They are in excellent shape. They are not mounted on wheels. The Wagon has 4 new 225 75R 15 Radial whitewall tires. For the astute Mercury Fans you probably noticed that this 67 has a 68 Grille, Front fender extensions and an NOS Front Bumper These give the wagon a more Lincoln like appearance. 1990 Mercury Colony Park Station Wagon. Roomy, comfortable, and smooth, the last of the big wagons, this Mercury is loaded with power everything, leather, dual exhaust, 3.55 posi rear, 5.0 l v-8 gets 19-20 mpg on highway; 14-15 around town. Never been hit. Driver's airbag. It does drip oil and has a couple of spots of surface rust, and a small exhaust leak. A/C controls act wonky sometimes. New alternator. 16" police car wheels and tires at 70%; front and rear sway bars; new brakes, Bilstein shocks, tune-up and Mobil 1. Only 75,000 original miles. Beautiful pale blue with woodgrain. Rear seats fold down to haul stuff. Drive it home.

1968 Mercury Colony Park Station Wagon Restoration Project Over 40 Pictures! Power Disc Brakes, Power Windows, Air Conditioning This wagon cleared lien at my buddy's impound yard. Wagon was impounded per the California Vehicle Code. The wagon was not reclaimed by the owner, a lien was placed, cleared and now law requires that it be auctioned off. Wagon will come with CA DMV issued Lien Sale Packet (NO TITLE) which will allow the buyer to register the Wagon and have a title issued to the buyer. Wagon looks like it has been sitting for years. We had a key made, put in a fresh battery, poured some fuel on the carb and was only able to get engine to cranks. The door panels, seats, dash and are in beautiful shape, near perfect. Body is fairly straight with the exception of rear bumper, left rear quarter panel (rust) and dent on the roof. Hood hinge is missing a bolt and small corner of hood has bent. Needs rear tailgate glass and windshield. Tires hold air. Three original hubcaps are inside the car with original license plate frames out of Downey, CA. Missing headliner. The floorboard on the wagon area is completely gone/rusted. The only other sports of rust that I saw was just ahead of the front floorboards, driver's door jam and left rear quarter panel (all pictured). This wagon needs to be saved, restored or at least made into a driver. My buddy wants to derby it, me being a 60's Ford lover and against destroying it, he gave me an opportunity to sell it. The wagon runs and drives excellent and is what you would expect for a low mileage car: tight steering, smooth ride, strong engine etc.. The exterior isn't perfect and looks flawless from 10 feet away. As you can see the bottoms of the doors have rust. The tailgate and the passenger front suffered the worst rust on the whole car. Otherwise the body panels are solid and pretty straight. The original white paint is a little thin on the roof and hood. You can see in a few spots it has been buffed through to the primer, but only in a few small areas. The front bumper has a couple small blemishes in the chrome which I have photographed. The wood grain is in pretty good shape overall but has some missing decal on some of the body molding. The doors shut perfectly. All of the glass appears to be original. This car was never in an accident and retains the original body panels and finish. The interior is beautiful, the rear seats looks like no one ever used them. The front seats are also in excellent condition. No cracks in the dash, no issues with the gauges no functioning. The steering wheel isn't cracked, the tilt wheel is tight, the radio isn't all cut apart everything was maintained to be original and its in excellent condition. The headliner is perfect. It is difficult to find these in good condition, especially with documented low miles and with original paperwork. It will be difficult finding another with this combination for sale anywhere. The wagon runs and drives excellent and is what you would expect for a low mileage car: tight steering, smooth ride, strong engine etc.. The exterior isn't perfect and looks flawless from 10 feet away. As you can see the bottoms of the doors have rust. The tailgate and the passenger front suffered the worst rust on the whole car. Otherwise the body panels are solid and pretty straight. The original white paint is a little thin on the roof and hood. You can see in a few spots it has been buffed through to the primer, but only in a few small areas. The front bumper has a couple small blemishes in the chrome which I have photographed. The wood grain is in pretty good shape overall but has some missing decal on some of the body molding. The doors shut perfectly. All of the glass appears to be original. This car was never in an accident and retains the original body panels and finish. The interior is beautiful, the rear seats looks like no one ever used them. The front seats are also in excellent condition. No cracks in the dash, no issues with the gauges no functioning. The steering wheel isn't cracked, the tilt wheel is tight, the radio isn't all cut apart everything was maintained to be original and its in excellent condition. The headliner is perfect. It is difficult to find these in good condition, especially with documented low miles and with original paperwork. It will be difficult finding another with this combination for sale anywhere. 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park LS Woody Wagon 5.0 V8 Fuel Injected engine, automatic transmission. The wagon was garaged most of its life and has minimul rust – small spot on rear quarter shown in photo and also a bit under the spare tire. All original paint with only minor damage to front fender that is barely visible – see photo. The paint shines nicely but there are plenty of dings, marks, scratches etc., that don’t show up in the photos. The car looks better in pictures so I encourage anyone interested to see the car in person so there are no disappointments. Perfect surf wagon or pull your camper/trailer – hitch and light connections on bumper – see photo. Low mileage, just 87,162! Starts right up and runs great with no smoke and shifts strong. I have a recent estate find with only 51,600 miles, this 1991 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Colony Park Station Wagon is in very good condition. It recently went through a tune up and mechanicals are in good working order. It was purchased new in 1991 and driver 26,733 miles until it was traded in during March of 1995 at Don McAuliffe Buick of Villa Park. The 2nd owner bought it and drove it sparingly for the next 19 years until I purchased it with 51,433 miles. It has been stored inside and covered. It is a great example of the last full size station wagon the Ford Motor Company produced. I have a copy of the original title, bill of sale from the 2nd owner and oil change window sticker documenting the miles. All the power windows work as they should including the rear power window. It has a switch on the dash as well as a special key that operates the window from the rear door. Cruise control, intermittent wipers, sentential lights, power locks, dual powers seats, power antenna and all interior and exterior lights work. The car rides very well and handles excellent. The paint has been well waxed over the years and the wood decals are in great shape with minimal wear or fading. The interior is in excellent condition. I was surprised to find the interior of a station wagon in this good of condition. The leather seats are supple and soft. The rear seat and third row look like they have been barely used. I could not find any stains on the brown carpet or seats. This car was not smoked in nor does it look like it was eaten in either. Typically in a station wagon, you will see the rear cargo area has scratches in the metal surface and along the plastic side areas. This one has barely any. I was shocked when looking at the condition. All interior lights and gauges work as they should. The dual exhaust is in good condition and makes no noise. The engine sounds good with no ticks, knocks, or smoke. The car drives straight and the brakes respond well. All the brake lines have been replaced within the last five years. The rear three way door works effortlessly and the door looks like brand new on the inside. It appears to be the original spare still in the rear cargo area. I am unsure of the age of the tires, but they have good tread and appear to be in safe, driving condition. Here are the cons: Since it has been a mid-west car there is some rust on the rear quarter panels. It is limited to the lower pillars between the rear doors and wheel well. It is also a little at the bottom of the rear quarters. It is not completely rotted out. The previous owner did some preventative maintenance to the lower panels behind the wheels and it looks to have stopped it from moving forward. Also, there is slight bubbling behind the wood grain decals at the same location. Otherwise, the rest of the car is rust free. The under carriage also has surface rust, but nothing has rusted through. There is minor corrosion on the wheels where the clear has cracked, but they are still in presentable condition. The radio does work, but only on the AM station. I was able to get the FM station to work once, but that was it. Also, the air is not ice cold. The temperature control unit's fan and location switches do work. The front fenders, doors (including rear), and rest of the exterior of the car is in great condition. Of course there are the minor nicks and scratches that are expected in a 23 year old car, but it is a nice car. I've included pictures of the car, but it does not do it justice. This is a must see in person! I've listed it with an aggressive 'Buy-It Now' price, but am open to offers. If it wasn't for the minor rust, I'd be asking a lot more. I haven't seen an example like this on E-Bay in a long while in overall good shape like this one. I accept cash upon pick-up and am not willing to take a check. This car must be picked up or I may drive it within a reasonable distance to the Chicago land area after the buyer comes to inspect the vehicle. I will not drive it to you to inspect. Payment and transfer of the car's title is expected within seven calendar days of the close of the auction. It is being sold with a clear Illinois title and I will provide a bill of sale too. I am not a dealer and am not interested in a 2nd party selling the car for me or other scams. This car has been described to the best of my ability. I am pretty picky about cars and wanted to own a Colony Park to get it out of my system. Before making an offer, please ask as many questions as you would like. NO RESERVE on this 1983 Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park LS 10 Passenger Woody Wagon 5.0 V8 Fuel Injected engine that runs great with no smoke, automatic overdrive transmission that shifts perfectly through all gears. The wagon was garaged most of its life and has minimal rust – no exterior body rust just a tiny bit under the spare tire and some on the tailgate – see photos of both. Doors look good underneath but some minor surface rust can be seen – email for photos if you would like to see. All original paint and woodgrain that looks excellent, especially for the age of the car. The previous owner touched up as needed with white touch-up paint if surface rust developed and touched up any spots in the wood grain. It’s not perfect but looks great with only minor imperfections that don’t show up in photos. Low mileage, just 129,900! Starts right up and runs great with no smoke and shifts strong. The car just received a complete tune-up which included new distributor cap and rotor, air cleaner & breather, plugs and an oil change. The car drives straight and smooth and can be driven anywhere without worry. Newer muffler and exhaust. The undercarriage (floors, frame, rockers etc) looks beautiful, this is a solid wagon! A leaky brake line was replaced and the brakes were bled and stop as they should with no vibrations. I love the looks of these wagons. They look very retro like wagons from the 60s Country Squires and Colony Parks but has all the modern technology for a dependable cruiser. Most of the interior is very nice, except the driver’s seat had a few rips which the elderly owner covered with black duct tape and there is minor cracking in the dash - photos available. The rear seats look very nice and the 3rd row seats look like they were never used. Headliner looks good overall but has a few spots that need new adhesive – it didn’t show up in the photo. The door panels look great and the original carpet is in very nice shape with little wear. The wagon is eligible for classic car insurance and classic license plates means no inspection in most states and can cost less than $200 per year to insure with zero deductible. Clear New Jersey title in my name ready to go.
