1965 Mercury Maurader. 1965 Mercury Marauder 4-door hardtop. This three-time trophy winning classic was fully featured in Hemming's Classic Car magazine and is in excellent condition. It has the optional 266 hp 390 V-8 Multi-Drive Merc-O-matic transmission dual factory-installed spotlights (both work) like-new tires Mercury's Flow-Through ventilation system (works great) AC (needs charging) PS PB Mercury AM radio beautiful steering wheel and padded dash (NO cracks) and original Mercury windshield washer refill bottle and mount.. Pros: Body in excellent shape overall; Interior very good: seats near perfect dash and steering wheel have no cracks carpet under driver's feet somewhat worn but no holes; Engine runs strong; Transmission shifts smoothly; Brakes are good. Car runs very well and the ride is ultra smooth quiet and luxurious.. Cons: Small tear in RR back seat near floor (see picture); Steering gear box seal has small leak. Oil is clean coolant is clean. And when filling gas tank past three quarters there is a gas smell. I removed the tank to check for leaks. Tank is totally rust free lines are good no stains. . Vehicle located in Bremerton WA .
