This is my moms's car who is now too old to drive. It has only been driven only 10K a year with most of that in it's early day when she came up from Florida often to visit us. 2003 MERCURY MOUNTAINEER ***MECHANIC SPECIAL*** If you're looking for a project truck that is almost complete,then this is your truck. This truck is an awesome project vehicle. It was my daily rider, but just recently both the rear wheel bearings went out. I know a couple mechanics that can fix it for fairly low but I've being doing this for so long (customizing/fixing), its just time to move on. If someone is willing to put in the work, you will practically have a brand new truck. Its a gorgeous truck, that has been well maintained. I get compliments on it all the time. Paint is decent, has some rust spots here and there. This 2004 Mercury Mountaineer Premiuer edition is in amazing condition! You will not find a better SUV at this price! Meticulously maintained and cared for, it pains us to have to give this car up. It's had an oil change every 3k miles, for the last 100k miles! This car will drive in 12" of snow, without getting stuck. It'll handle rain, sleet, ice, sun, children, and pets. This car will entertain your kids without complaints. What did people do before DVD players? This car will get you places. We've taken it all over the northeast, and it's just been an absolute pleasure to own, and we're sure the next owners will enjoy this car as well. A bit of normal wear and tear, but this car is in outstanding condition given it's age. As part of the sale, I will have it professionally cleaned a cost that I will pick up, so that you're getting a super clean and sparkly SUV. Gas Mileage is surprisingly great! You can get from Long Island to Boston on less than a tank, and to DC on 1 tank. Tires on this car are Firestone Destination tires, and are about half way through their life, with plenty of tread left. The car is not due for breaks or rotors for about another year or so, depending on how much you drive it. The entertainment system is incredible! Pop in a DVD, turn the volume up, and it's a portable home theater system. We're also including 2 headphones that sync with the system, so parents up front don't have to hear that same movie over and over and over. There are auxiliary inputs for your iphone, or if you feel really ambitious, you could hook up a video game system. Side Running boards make getting in and out a cinch for the little ones. While we didn't use it often, there's an easily accessible third row seat, big enough for 2 adults, with plenty of foot room and head room. Another great feature you rarely find anymore, is the driver door unlock panel, great if you want to lock the keys in the car and swim in a lake! Get back to the car, enter the 5 digits, and the doors unlock! Not seen on many new SUV's, this one has a rear window liftgate, which makes packing the car with groceries super easy! Also, rear reverse sensors make it easy to back up and not worry about hitting anything. Here's just a few of the features, but you'll have more fun seeing them for yourself..... If you are looking for a very clean and great running SUV, then this in the one for you. The vehicle has been stored in the garage since I have owned it, and always serviced on time. We decided to buy a van, so selling the SUV. The vehicle has pretty much all of the options available for the 2008 Mountaineer. The entire vehicle was recently inspected at a Ford Dealership, and all items came back in great working condition. Some mechanical repairs recently completed at a Ford Dealership include: Full service and inspection (July 2015) New Radiator (July 2015)Full transmission service (Feb 2015)New catalytic converters, both (Dec 2014)New passenger seat heater (Dec 2014) There are a few paint dings/scratches that were painted over with touch-up paint by the dealership when I purchased the vehicle. A few pictures were added to show these but include; a 1-2” scratch below driver’s door handle, very small ding on passenger rear door, a 3-4” scratch on rear drivers side (near taillight), and minor blemishes on black plastic interior door handles. One of the wireless headphones also has the foam ear cushion peeling. NADA Book for the vehicle is $14,325 (Clean Retail) This vehicle is sold “As is” and does not include a warranty from the seller. Black 2006 Mercury Mountaineer Premier is AWD and loaded with camel leather interior. It has navigation and a DVD system with two wireless headphones and remote control, so the driver can listen to music while the rear passengers watch a movie! It has quad seating; two bucket seats in the second row with a console between. There is a third row; one seat does not power fold. There is a separate rear air conditioner/heater the driver controls with vents in the second and third rows. Driver and passenger have separate temperature controls plus heated seats.
