This car is a blast to drive! I get compliments on it every time I drive it! More pics here. I hate to sell it but its time for a new toy! 1976 Black MGB roadster, right hand drive imported from the UK about 3 years ago. 4 cylinder engine was fully torn down and rebuilt with hardened valve seats and everything else to prep it for unleaded gas. Dual HIF4 carburetors. 4 speed transmission with overdrive. Fully documented 9 year old restoration. Spin-off wire racing wheels with new tires. The odometer was reset when it was restored, it has about 7,500 miles on it! Barely even broken in! Paint is a very picky 7.5/10, overall is looks fantastic. The convertible top, tonneau cover, and boot cover are all in great condition. It has all new pertronix ignition, new clutch master and slave cylinders, new battery, and a new indicator stalk. I've also got a new heavy duty clutch, seat belts and miscellaneous bulbs that will go with it. For sale locally as well, I reserve the right to end this auction if it sells.

The body looks straight and the paint is shiny and bright and looks good overall, but it does show some dings, scratches, etc. The tires area matching set with good tread. There are no cracks in the windshield, but it does show some typical road wear, rock chips, etc. It has the typical scratches/dings/dents/rock chips that you'd expect, that are consistent with age and use on a 1979 convertible, but it still has an overall nice look. Please look over our many pictures and give us a call if you have any questions or would like us to do a walk around. We take over 80 pictures of each vehicle. Interior The interior of this B is in overall good shape. The upholstery looks good overall, but does show some wear and blems. The carpets are in good shape overall, but do show some blems. The headliner has been cleaned and has a good overall look to it. The air blows cold - we ran it for over 30 minutes while taking pictures. It doesn't appear to have been smoked in as there is no odor of such. It has the typical light scuffs, blems, etc. that you'd expect on a used vehicle, but it still has an overall good look to it, and it certainly looks to have been taken care of. Mechanics This 4 cylinder starts right up and idles fine and has good power and acceleration and drives straight down the road. It has a good solid feel to it. Brakes feel good. The paint job on this car was completed to a high standard and looks excellent. The car was completely disassembled, hood, trunk, doors, glass, trim etc.. was all removed, taken down to bare metal and painted separately. Even the bottom side of the body car was stripped down and repainted as well. Even the bottom side of the floor pans were painted exterior color. This engine has been completely rebuilt and detailed to a showroom like finish. The engine runs beautifully. It always starts and runs excellent just like a modern car. This engine has had lots of money poured and into it and features an upgraded aluminum cylinder head. The car runs GREAT!!! The engine bay was sandblasted and refinished to a high standard and is truly show quality. The cars transmission shifts beautifully with no grinding between the gears and the clutch and flywheel was replaced as part of the restoration. In fact, practically every single system of the car was rebuilt or replaced. The exhaust is all new, new carb, all new suspension refinished both cosmetically and mechanically, all the hydraulics were replaced, all new brakes, new brake lines... I mean from tip to tale not a single thing was over looked. The engine sounds great with its exhaust exiting under the rear valance. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizona's hot and dry climate. The car steers beautifully with fully rebuilt suspension and the car tracks perfectly down the road. The bottom side of this B is as well finished as the top side. 1980 MGB. 67,700 miles. This car runs and drives, but like many MGs, it needs work. The engine, clutch and transmission all run well. The body is basically solid with two small rust holes in the typical lower rocker. It has dents and scratches, but the paint actually shines quite nicely. There is not extensive rot on this car. The car comes with a brand-new-in-the-box top and hardware that's not installed, but ready to go. I still have the rubber bumper and supports if you are interested in going back to the original later style look. The brakes and suspension need work but are fine to drive around the block. It has several electrical faults. There's a lot to this car--it's way better than a parts car, but needs work to be a cars and coffee attention-getter.
