Built on a modern late-model Ford Ranger 1/2-ton chassis, featuring independent front suspension, power front disc brakes, aggressive low stance, and power steering. The chassis was stripped and painted in POR-15 for a good-looking, long-lasting finish prior to the cab and bed being mounted. The original steel bed has small steel mini-tubs to clear the brand-new wide Grand Prix radial tires on polished Torq Thrust II-style mag wheels. The truck is very dry with virtually no presentable rust to be found. Dash is original with original gauges. Paint job is an older spray that shows just fine for what it is. Interior is stock/original except for a beautiful high-dollar Lokar vintage-style automatic floor shifter and a contemporary tilt steering column. The fuel tank is mounted under the bed. There is a removable rear frame-mounted receiver tow hitch and wiring currently mounted out back. The truck comes with the spare tire and carrier and mounted spare as well. The truck has been rewired with an American Autowire Highway 22 wiring kit; the charging system, headlamps, tail lamps, turn signals, and brake lights are connected and operable for a street-legal driver.
